WOW, the sold-out show was AMAZING the other night in FL. Great video but being at the live show was the real-deal. You guys sounded great and I've seen the Dire Straits w/Knopfler in the 70's and 80's. Ya'll did the music PROUD! Having Trevor Horn in the band was just another added bonus. Thanks for keeping the music alive!
I realize that tribute bands may not like it, but first of all they are a band in all respects with a good album of unreleased songs, then they are certainly the best band among all the Dire Straits tribute bands. I had the pleasure of seeing them live in Milan in a concert for a lucky few (only 200 seats available was the general rehearsal before the tour) and I was amazed by the quality, first of all by the legendary Mel Collins, a true sax legend... . However, personally I'm not against tribute bands, clearly if the quality level is high. After all, if it is no longer possible to attend live concerts of some historical groups, I don't see anything wrong with valid artists who reproduce their pieces. The best for me "The Musical Box" Mi rendo conto che i tribute band possono non piacere, però in primis loro sono una band a tutti gli effetti con all'attivo buon un album di inediti, poi sono sicuramente la migliore band tra tutte le tribute dei Dire Straits. Ho avuto il piacere di vederli a Milano live in un concerto per pochi fortunati (solo 200 posti a disposizione era la prova generale prima della tournee) e sono rimasto meravigliato dalla qualità, in primis del mitico Mel Collins una vera leggenda del sax.... Comunque personalmente non sono contrario alle tribute band, chiaramente se il livello qualitativo è alto. Dopotutto se non è più possibile assistere live ai concerti di alcuni gruppi storici, non ci vedo niente di male se ci sono artisti validi che ripropongono i loro pezzi. Uno su tutti i "the Musical Box"
pure per me sono bravi ma la voce di marco stona e quello che e e che carl palmer oltre a suonare e fare il produttore con renato zero ealtri fa sti dischi ricordoche fece parte di un prg spin e qualcosa epoi nei dire straits suono nell ultima formazione ma ora va in giro con sto nome senza autorizzazione lui e altri dela formazione originale de biase e marco
