I love this scene so much. I love how the music is a mix of Making Christmas, What's This, and Jack's Lament. And of course, I love the Halloween action!
'Twas the nightmare before Christmas and all through the house Not a creature was peaceful, not even a mouse The stockings all hung up with care will cause such a scare The children all Snuggle in their beds will have nightmares of monsters and skeleton heads.
The first one we got was a serial killer possessed doll formerly known as The Lakeshore Strangler. That's an interesting connection since Chris Sarandon was the actor of Detective Mike Norris and he did the speaking voice of Jack Skellington.
Well, he is dead. He always has been dead the entire movie. Oggie recognized that himself by stating “double dead!” When you think about it like that there’s nothing to truly worry about the entire movie. Unless being “double dead” is a real thing.
The way he yells for Zero just breaks my heart I don't know how to describe it, it's just every time I watch this movie and I hear him yelling for Zero (during this scene), I can't help but feel bad for Jack
"Santa?" "Merry Christmas and what's your name?" Um um um. "that's alright I have a special present for you anyway." "There you go sonny ho ho ho ho hee hee hee hee".
Mayor of Halloween Town: I Knew This Chirstmas thing was a bad idea.... Well, I Guess i felt in my gut....hmm. Terrible News, Folks! The Worst tragedy of our times! Jack Has Blown to Smithreens! Terrible, Terrible News!
Jack might as well been the Christmas Krampus. Although, I think he did his job better or worse depending on one’s perspective. Better because he had good intentions or worse because he got shot out of the sky. Krampus would never get shot out of the sky which is why he succeeds at scaring children globally every year. 😂
3:00 (After a triple A round hits part of the sleigh) Jack: They're _trying_ to hit us! Zero!! (While Zero looks at Jack sadly, the Howitzer's computer targets Jack) Targeting computer of Howitzer: -- ARMED -- (Locks onto Jack's sleigh) -- FIRE -- (Fires a round that hits and destroys Jack's Sleigh) Jack: MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL GOOD NIGHT!! I mean The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite movie. But the music is 'the straw that broke the camles back' if you will, it hammered the nail in the coffin, and knowing that Danny Elfman did more of the music for other ti. Burton movies... Man, this duo!
My favorite scene ever, this is how I feel every Holiday season, knowing Jack will come to my house and give me gifts, alongside with the others of Tim Burton fans
Sander Postema that’s what I thought when I first heard the song, also mention Pee Wees Big Adventure, Danny Elfman had that low note thing in his early days
TMX1138 Would've been nice to have it in the movie since it fits in with it, but we can still dream. I've been feeling nostalgic tonight about previous houses I've lived in, so please forgive me about it.
I feel like this song has a very nice up beat sound to it i could almost say that i would do one of those head banging things that i see all the cool teens do nowerdays, i think im going to tell my family and uncle about this song my uncle is a very big part of my life after all he has shown me all these............. to be finished
I love this scene so much. I love how the music is a mix of Making Christmas, What's This, and Jack's Lament. And of course, I love the Halloween action!
That’s what I’m been hearing as well too.
And Jack’s Obsession 0:41
'Twas the nightmare before Christmas and all through the house

Hello, police.
Attack by Christmas toys?
That's strange, that's the second toy complaint we've received....
The first one we got was a serial killer possessed doll formerly known as The Lakeshore Strangler.
That's an interesting connection since Chris Sarandon was the actor of Detective Mike Norris and he did the speaking voice of Jack Skellington.
Since going off
Creepypasta: 101
You know Jack getting hit scared me as a kid...
For a hot second I thought he freaking *died*
Well, he is dead. He always has been dead the entire movie. Oggie recognized that himself by stating “double dead!” When you think about it like that there’s nothing to truly worry about the entire movie. Unless being “double dead” is a real thing.
@@ethantinsley8185 He meant double dead as in if he had died in the crash he would kill him again. It’s confusing just don’t think about it too hard
@@KC-zi7pw That makes a little more sense. Not complete sense, but a little. I vill think about it too hard though! It must be explained! I vill!
They're trying to hit us! Zero!
don't make me cry, bro
Never fails to make me tear up :(
The way he yells for Zero just breaks my heart

Major Chip Hazard? Your supposed to be dead.
"and what did Santa bring you"
23zombieking AHHHH!
I admit it, every time I hear the last part I always have the strong urge to tear up... :'(
Aw, me to. Poor Jack
Same
Jack has been blown to smithereens :C
Probably my favorite track of score in this movie.
0:13 to 0:20 sounds so heroic before going back to Jack's creepy nature.
His accidental creepy nature on Christmas lol
"Chistmas Eve Montage"? More like "Jack tramatizes children montage" you dont just bounce from finding someone head in a box
Moth 809 Well, it IS set during Christmas Eve.
1:42 - 1:49 that low brass with the French Horns my god....
Who else was terrified of the snake when they saw this for the first time when they were little?
I don't know why but I always found hilarious the way the kid screams in terror as the snake is eating the Christmas tree 🙈
Wish they put in the score for Sally's failed attempt to save Santa from Oogie Boogie here...
It's not on this track, but there is one called "To The Rescue," which includes the aforementioned sexy saxophone

Why didn't they use in the actual movie?
Sora Song Because this song belonged to another movie. In this case, The Nightmare Before Christmas.
