- Well, if there ever were a POV session that accurately captures what it's like to surf one of the Gold Coast's famous point breaks, this is it.
It's easy to point the finger at the various characters in this clip and accuse arrogance, ignorance, disrespect and the like, however I really think that this is the chaos that ensues when there are simply too many people in one line up. It's unavoidable and once you relax into it a bit, don't take it personally, you can actually observe it with a smile.
I'm not uploading much this year. Extremely busy with coaching and also some big life transitions which is lovely :)

Thank you! No, I’m not sure we’ll ever get back to regular uploads as my coaching work is taking up too much time. Unless I can manifest a helpful business partner who can take over all our media operations!
@@KalesBroccoli No worries bro. Just keep doing what you love. We're all really happy for you, and it seems like your having great success with your coaching, so keep going at it. Maybe one day you'll get a media person, but for now just keep grinding the coaching. Maybe one day I'll get out to do some sessions with you.

This day was particularly f**ked! I was there too, spent the session out wide so to avoid collisons, good ol' Goldy 🤙🤣

the alley used to be solitude ish back in 2003 , looks like www. has taken over. i used to camp in the carpark. bet thats illegal now too...ffs worlds gone mad

It’s the middle of the day so there is barely anyone out. Usually u can’t even get more than one wave
Currumbin is more hectic than snapper these days
Man, that looks kind of stressful. I'm ok with drop ins and kook and dickheads, but the one lineup issue that makes me uncomfortable is people cluelessly sitting on the inside. I would just really prefer not to send someone to the hospital while breaking my board.
In all fairness you had a GoPro with you….so that’s like waving a sign that says “burn me”

Nah. Thankfully the GoPro donkeys mostly stay away. It’s probably because the waves always suck.
