Rafa Herrera she is one of the most talented and under appreciated artists in the r&b/hip hop industry today. Kaleidescope was brilliant and you are right, this album should have been marketed better as it was very strong start to finish. My sense is that because she was taking a somewhat different direction musically her record company was indecisive and was not aggressive enough with promoting it. Nonetheless, I still think she has more big albums in her and perhaps even a masterpiece or two to put out in the next few years. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

EDM was already growing from about 2008 to 2009. Calvin Harris was already big in the dance scene and asked her to some tracks and I guess she went back and asked him to produce one for her instead of a feature.
