Reign is amazing… to watch when you’re home sick😂 I would watch season 1 and 2 on repeat for some background noise. Was really fun, but then again my standards were much lower when the show was airing. Still watch clips just for Megan Follows. What a queen. Literally😍😍 Catherine lives rent free in my head❤❤
I initially gave this show a watch because I saw that the actress who played Susan in the Chronicles of Narnia was in it. Lady Lola...sigh The names and the costumes in this show. I showed the first few episodes to this guy I was seeing at the time, who also likes history, because that tomfoolery needed to be seen to be believed. Every other scene, a new costume was shown and we just went "what is this sh*t!?". And that 19th century mansion in Canada, for the french court, huh?
So glad you are reviewing this. It was glorious in its disregard for accuracy. Once you give up and just accept that it occurred in an alternate reality, it’s much easier to enjoy.

I mean I personally liked the show, I thought the costumes looked nice even thought they weren’t accurate, the actors were good and the music was great (WhatI I really love), BUT that was before I started looking into the history. I still have a soft spot for it but it is much harder to go back and rewatch it
Reign was my guilty pleasure like 2-3 years ago and let me just say the show peaked early.

The Tudors wasn't entirely accurate but at least there was some structure and it looked remotely historic. They'll never meet that level.
