Man it's crazy to me these videos don't have millions of views. I've been on a search for god my whole life and recently I've had true faith that he's real. I'm in my mid 30s now and I've noticed during the worst times in my life I turn to god and things seem to work out, always. During these times my life is filled with insane coincidences that happen on a daily basis. When I pray during these times, I feel different, I even get goosebumps sometimes. This has been consistent throughout my life. I was an atheist until I was in my early 20s and became agonistic when I realized it is just as foolish to believe there is no god, you cannot know that. Now I have fully accepted there is a god and my mood has changed for the better, life is still not easy but it feels worth fighting for. What really changed is when I started talking to god daily, even on good days. Oh, and genuinely praying for others. Everything must be genuine.

Oh yeah!! You've experienced God pursuing you. I have too. I find it so amazing how God will literally send messages straight to your heart that you know was Him and everyone else around is just like it's just a flyer, it just a bumper sticker, it's just a commercial but to you, you know God sent that message straight to your heart!! Your story sounds like mine except I always believed but didn't always find living like it was attainable. I was wrong

Ohhh I'm so sorry. It must be so hard. I have suffered from depression with suicidal tendency and just want you to know God knows your pain and longing for your loved ones. I suggest building an unequaled relationship with Him and learning all you can about the Bible before He takes you home to be with Him. I have found so much comfort in the Bible, especially the Psalms. I also do depend on medication and therapy to keep my mind from turning on me. I was hoping that I didn't need meds anymore with Jesus but I think even Jesus knows I need meds. If you don't have a church family please find a church and get involved. Help out, make friends, volunteer, just busy yourself learning about the place and people who your loved ones are with now and the place you'll be going to see them at. God isn't finished molding you yet, let Him complete what He's started.
Prayers for you my friend, hang on to Jesus

NDEs are important connections with what lay beyond our material bodies. But I'd like to give a shout out to near-life-experiences. The first time I held my first born daughter, I felt 18 years go by in a moment. My breath was taken away. And 18 years felt not long enough to have her all to ourselves. Temporal perspective seems to be at times flexible during consciousness, and on a gradient among people. A gift from Him.

Also the little things some people experience throughout their life, making you believe that you are not alone and that we are all being observed. I have listened to some NDE which have left some very depressed. In the more recent cases, it sounds like it is all so beautiful, so amazing. And I wonder if the wrong doings, even evil like killing don’t really matter once we leave this physical experience. No hell. Being Spirit sounds so much better, what are we all doing here ?

Based on reading about numerous NDEs, I have often wondered if some of these things that we perceive as “evil” here on earth may very well be things that aren’t necessarily good or evil on the other side but things that have to happen here for some weird reason. I believe this is what they mean by do not judge others and do not judge their actions. I think this might be true because we have no idea what these people’s purpose is.

I know that God lives within me and I believe that I can prey.without speaking out loud.. However I know that verbally saying a prayer helps me feel the nearness of God. Praying frequently helps to concrete your feelings knowing that God actually hears you speaking to Him. I love God first and everything else is after that. I have lived a reasonably long life and I know as long as God is first in your life everything else will fall into place. I’m near 80 I have a lot of life experiences. The only thing that worries me is the "Life Review"- despite the fact I have tried my best through my life, I am sure I'll be shown mistakes I made or how I maybe have hurt people (not on purpose!). Like being worried about a test. I'll keep doing my best regardless.

I doubt if anyone is looking forward to the life review. But many say they watch it all the while being supported by loving beings and some have said if it's too painful they will stop it. The point is if you lived your life with Christ's blood covering you or not which is the only way to cover your sin and the Bible says that He will cast your sin as far as the east is from the west and will remember it no more so I do believe that the life judgment will be more focused on how we treated others vs every little thing we struggled with.

I have dabbled in the study of NDE’s for several years. My desire to know more started with the death of my father in 1994, and again after the death of my mother in February 2023. My studies began with a curiosity about death and the experience of it. Eventually, I began to look more closely at the ancient teachings, not just the Bible, but Buddhism, Judaism and Islam, and the ancient religions as well, and where they stand on death. Before I continue, I should add that I have had many supernatural and paranormal experiences throughout my life, that would include apparitions, OBE’s, and, maybe an NDE, though I can’t say for sure. What my studies and my personal experience has shown me is that God is, indeed, very real, and so …is Yeshua. What I found most confusing regarding everything I have gathered in studies and experience, so far, is the near death experience of hell. I cannot be dismissive of those who have experienced hell, but when they come back with their stories, most of them become very heavily rooted in Christianity and the concept that we must follow Christ or we’re doomed. While I can understand why they would do that, their message and experience is completely controversial to the other experiencers who see heaven; their experience may or may not include a vision of the Christ, but they are very clear about the true benevolence of our Creator. The strongest message that I have gotten from my experience and studies, is that true love for our Creator is the greatest gift, and one that we can impart to ourselves and all of humanity. That, of course, opens up another question on how we do that. For many people it’s difficult to understand how to love something that we cannot define, or see, but the depth of our Creator goes far beyond any words that any dictionary can offer, that of course is a conversation of another kind. Thank you for bringing this interview to us, Billy. It was very enlightening.

I don't have the answers to your questions, but what came to mind to share with you is we are made up of body, soul, and Spirit. A three part harmony. I can think of a few. An egg has a shell, yoke and white part. All separate yet one. H²O, three parts. Water, steam and ice. I think you get the picture. God is 3 in 1 also. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Three separate yet One God. Now to my point.
A Jewish temple is made up of 3 parts. An outer court, the Holy place (a place of service) and the Holy of Holies. Hell is like the outer court, The Holy place is earth and The Holy of Holies is Heaven. I think when people die and don't know God and go to hell and come back they are faced with the Truth. They know that Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life no one can come to the Father but by Him. John 14:6. I don't want to make this a book. But those that draw near to Him He will draw near to them. It is a walk of faith. Yet those that personally find Christ it goes from believing to receiving. John 1:12 But as many as receive Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."

And then there's the past life stuff. I read through them, especially negative ones looking for similarities. Frustrated, I put it all on the back burner labeled undetermined. After hearing Bryan Melvin speak of his experience and listening to his extensive Bible prophecy teaching, I got an important clue. There is a slight difference between them. One wants to show that everything positive about a NDE is what is in the Bible and Christianity (yet he ignores all the other evil things the Bible god does and threatens). The other is saying the NDE is not about earthly dogma, exclusivity, or religion but it is about love, inclusivity and the divine.

Like Dr. Alexander mentioned, you can have experiences similar to NDEs through meditation. I’ve meditated a lot and I’ve done thought experiments. I spent lot of time in meditation focused on Einstein’s theory of relativity. I have found the bandwidth of my consciousness has increased, at times, briefly. I was able to perceive time in a way where I understood that the past, present and future happen simultaneously. I also have had my consciousness bandwidth increase to infinity. That’s when I knew that I shared the mind of God. God is all knowing. God is everything. Everything is God and everything is one. Love seems to be the communication protocol for telepathy and consciousness connections.

That alone should throw doubt on the whole subject! Demons are probably kicking themselves for not all staying on the same page! Children are all born possessed by demons due to the fact that Satan currently holds the deed to the earth and everyone born in it unless they ask to be bought out of Satan’s possession by the blood of Jesus Christ. My own son at age five reported what seemed to be past life memories and I did notice his slight trance-like state while doing it! Be sure that you have let God know that you wish to have the sacrificial blood of Jesus applied to your account because only by having his righteousness on your account will you be granted eternal life as a gift with no strings attached: Ephesians 2:8&9; 4:30; Colossians 1:14 KJV - it’s all good!

@@kentknight7538I'm not sure I'd rely on "Christian testimonies" either because there are too many other factors that can play into something that's so subjective. There are some people, even Christians, that are pathological liars. Just being a Christian doesn't instantly cure all our behavioral or psychological faults. To tell you the truth, I don't consider anyone that believes they can lose their salvation to even be saved because some of their faith is obviously in their own ability to stay saved. I often ask those that report NDE's where Jesus welcomed them, etc., if they can lose their salvation and you'd be surprised how often I get a "yes."
There's only one thing God requires of us to be saved and that is that we completely trust in his Son, Jesus Christ, for our eternal life made possible by his death, burial and resurrection. Some that has believed that can literally kill someone and still be saved - it's that powerful and that radical! God expected his chosen people to show their faith by their works and their obedience, but when he let them go at the end of Acts, all of that was also let go. We are the lucky recipients of his new deal: Accept his gift of eternal life in Ephesians 2:8 & 9 understanding that it was made available by the cross work of his Son at Calvary. That's it; we can literally change our minds the next day and we'd still be saved!
The trouble is that the Bible is a huge Book that covers a variety of relationships that God has had with humans. But we can't take it all and apply it to ourselves; that's when we run into contradictions! I see people try it all the time though! Pagans like us were never even noticed by God (unless he was helping the Israelites kill us) until he had to let his chosen people go (Acts 28:28-31); then he opened the door to a free salvation for the taking, no strings attached, available to all that wish to receive it: Ephesians 2:8 & 9 KJV. This gospel paradigm will continue right to and through the second coming of Christ when he suddenly "appears" on the earth (Colossians 3:4 KJV) and receives his kingdom (which I believe will be the whole earth restored to Eden-like glory), Colossians 1:13 KJV; and where all those that have ever belonged to God by faith will be translated to live eternally as the "one new man" of Ephesians 2:15 KJV. Sin was no longer an issue for us ever since the cross because Christ paid the world's sin debt in full; the only question that remains is "Do you wish to live forever in the kingdom of God's dear Son, or not?"

The Bible presents us with a God who at first is promoting vengeful behaviour, for example "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" but Jesus spoke on that saying that we should "Love our enemies, and if someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also", in other words "don't strike back." To me the old testament God encourages more low vibrational human character whereas Jesus taught a more loving higher way of life. Or people who experienced God but no other holy person such as Buddha or Jesus or Mohammed? The problem I have with his point of view is that it limits itself to western Christianity and the Abrahamic Bible and not NDEs from people of other faiths or experiences of Christians that did not see what he thinks the Bible describes. He seems to ignore these accounts. He also cherry picks the Bible verses that sound great and supports his point-of-view. Interesting how this "spiritual body" experienced during alleged NDEs is not physical, but somehow "floats" over the physical body in physical spacetime while locked into the same planetary/stellar/galactic gravitational well. Also interesting that whatever ocular apparatuses these "spiritual bodies" have can only see the visual spectrum in a directed field of vision, like they have irises and retinas too. Hmm. 🧐

    • @mceajc
      @mceajc 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Exactly! If some spiritual being is sensing the world around it, it ought to be detectable in the physical realm also - and as far as I know it is not. If you reliably pack a room with disembodied souls, the photons being absorbed by the souls to give them a view of physical space should cause a detectable dimming in the room.
Without a theory of what a soul is, where it resides, and how many un-embodied souls there are, there can be no testable hypotheses, and thus the idea of a soul is meaningless - especially when there are perfectly god naturalistic explanations that we can test.

I've had similar questions about an ocular seeing device and photon absorption. The key is setting aside the materialist mode of thinking, where matter is primary, and mind and perception are products of a brain. If mind is primary and the material world exists within mind (aka, the mind of God) visual perception doesn't depend on ocular devices and absorption of photons.

@@scottjensen7555 Right. So this immaterial disembodied mind that's no longer stuck with irises and retinas (and the visual-processing neural network hooked up to those via the optic nerve) is somehow deliberately and persistently choosing to limit its immaterial disembodied perception to a specific electromagnetic spectral range and field of vision that just happens to coincide with those perceived by humans in both conscious and unconscious (oneiric) experience. 🤔

First of all, I find John Burke's repeated mispronunciation of Dr. Alexander's name disrespectful. The host pronounces it correctly, which you would think is a cue to Burke as a reminder, but no - he continues to call him "Eeeeben" throughout the discussion. Minor point, but it was irritating.
So on the one hand, we have the 'God' of Unconditional love - accepting everyone with no judgement.
And on the other hand we have Jesus' sacrifice for our 'sins' and transgressions to 'save' us. But with a caveat - so long as you follow Jesus and believe in him, wahla! That's your ticket to Heaven. All the rest, well... sorry for your luck.
Burke's research seems biased toward Christianity laden accounts only. Or its his main focus. I've listened and watched many NDE accounts where Jesus doesn't appear, but a guide or guardian type of being comes to help the newly deceased person. There's still the unconditional love theme though throughout.
Anita Moorjani's NDE didn't feature Jesus either - she was brought up in a multicultural country with different beliefs. She saw and communicated with her own father.
It makes ZERO sense that an 'unconditionally' loving God goes and imposes the condition of believing in Jesus or you're doomed. The NDE literature and thousands of accounts contradict that doctrine.
So either the Bible is wrong on this point - having been written by groups to gather followers and power.
Or it's correct and Christianity is based on God's conditional love for humanity.
OR there is one source in which Jesus and all the prophets are a part of and when you die, you judge yourself and your actions. And you get the opportunity to go back and get it 'right' in order to ascend to levels of higher spirituality.
I find it difficult to believe in a God that would save some and cast out others based on their beliefs.

I feel particularly troubled by the fact that Dr. Alexander repeatedly expressed how personal the "God force" is, yet never expresses a desire to know His name.
Shouldn't the logic be simple? if God exists and is personal He would want a way to personally relate to his creation.
names allow for an individual to be personally connected/relate to another person.
Therefore God must have a name.
I'm not worried about the strength of that logic, just trying to highlight that titling God "The God force behind the universe" is a very impersonal way of describing God, and almost puts a distance between us and God. Yet he says that the "God force" is personal.
So why would he disrespect this "God Force" by refusing to find out His name?

Just from a LEGAL PERSPECTIVE, how can God be a fair Judge if he allows only a fraction of the human race to experience the “truth” they claim is from him, and the rest are kept in the dark or are getting their supernatural information from the inspired scriptures that God gave as his final authority of faith and morals? Reincarnation is not supported by scripture; actually it’s just the opposite: Hebrews 9:27.
I speculate that perhaps today’s humans are more easily able to go into the state of altered consciousness necessary for spirit beings (and God’s elect angels are on stand down during this dispensation of the mystery, Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 2:18 KJV) to produce a vision/locution in the minds of those in that altered state. Cui bono?
