I have to say you seem very knowledgeable on how the game actually works so I hope you will be able to give me some insight even if it is outside your specialization per say.
Do you have any inkling of how the meta is settling for other weapons and combinations? I've been playing KR and just trying out different things for fun but I got this feeling I should focus on the "meta builds", same for my friend. He's going SnS/GS or SnS/Wand though so I guess either of those will be fine. But I was thinking of going a DPS (since we have no use of two tanks which we both like to play). Thus I tried GS/XBow and it works fine for now but I haven't had opportunity to PvP with it. Do you think daggers are mandatory still for any kind of PvP focus in the DPS category? It's a bit sad if all large scale comes down to is bomb squads with tank + dps (staff/dagger, gs/dagger, xbow/dagger), I would be happy with any input or advice you have!
Hi, I don't think DPS requires Daggers because Specs like Longbow/Staff and Wand/Staff DPS exist and do really well in PvP. if you like playing tank and want to do DPS you can also do SnS/Staff which is in a really good spot right now. SnS/Xbow only works because it's really OP right now, but it will likely be nerfed. I'd pay attention to balance changes tomorrow and next week to see how devs tune down some of the OP weapons like Staff, Xbow, and GS.

I know you havent had much time to build out a new gear set but do you recommend endurance still and does it feel better than evasion?
For Longbow, yes - Ranged and Magic End. For Staff, Ranged and Magic Evas.

Eli - How come (at least so far as I've watched, and the title) you haven't put SnS + Wand on the table? I was under the impression that combo was GOAT !
SnS/Wand is still good and servers the same purpose. The changes it received are not really game changing like Wand/Longbow and Wand/Staff, so that's why I've been focusing on those two weps more. I'll be testing Wand/Dagger and Wand/SnS more this week though.

I’m in a major pickle of wanting to play dps but I’d like to heal for dungeons etc.. I want to play rogue style with daggers and want but I can’t level a wand on the side huh? What are my best options for healing? Do I need to go MAIN heals or is this game not built like that? Is it silly to go full heals if there’s no major pve content for it? If all endgame is pvp id rather stay a rogue type thing
Going full heals with any build is important as well. Most full heal builds are just full support since there isn't enough healing in the game. The only build that can go mostly full heals is Wand/Longbow, but every healer build is helpful and useful. If you like the rogue gameplay then stick with Wand/Dagger. It's strong.

@@EliEli.MMOPVP so wand dagger is a solid choice eh.. I do wanna be a rogue but I do wanna heal too heh. Can I still pvp decent like that ?
@@CorlaxCory Wand/Dagger is very strong in healing. More of a higher skill ceiling, but once you learn it you're very strong.

do you think the staff / wand is more like an offensive type of healer given that if you want to kill someone, you'll be using the staff skills more than the wand.
Not exactly. Wand/Staff is most versatile. You can play 4-5 different support builds as Wand/Staff each having unique purposes. In my latest livestream I went over 4 builds I made for Wand/Staff - Sleep/CC Support, Hybrid DPS, Hybrid Support, and Buff/CC Bot,

Very good. It plays like a Trickster build and super slippery.
Not for having healing skills, you are a healer. The build you are showing at 35:00 aprox, is not a Healer build.
What build are you talking about? The build at that mark is the Wand/Longbow Support Healer build.

Don't go with longbow + wand, it sucks at pvp. I tried it and regretted it. Go with longbow + wand or SnS + wand because those two builds are good for PvE and PvP.

We're only talking about ZvZ here because that is what matters when it comes to PvP in this game. So Siege, Tax Delivery, Boon, and Riftstone wars. All these instances I have performed extremely well with Wand/Longbow able to keep my whole party alive in moments where we were all getting focused. You just need to get better at it. So just remember, because you didn't perform well in something doesn't mean others will have the same experience :D . Sometimes, you just need to improve your own skill
@@EliEli.MMOPVP this is correct, no matter what meta heal you go, it all depends to the player(SKEELZ) behind the build to make it effective. If you're a trash player, you will still be trash no matter what meta build you go.
