I lost my Molly girl in August. Coming home is still sometimes a punch in the gut. My husband and I took an overnight trip a few weeks ago, and on my way home, I got excited, thinking about seeing my dog. Then I almost burst into tears, remembering that she wouldn't be there. I'm finding that it's like losing a person, the grief comes in waves, and you just have to feel it. The waves do slow down with time. ❤❤❤

As a mature makeup enthusiast, I’ve all but given up on powder highlighters. It’s just not flattering with my few wrinkles and texture so I just go for a slightly dewy foundation and MAYBE a glowing blush. It’s one less product. I DO like the Revlon powder blushes, though. Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue foundation is looking good right now.
That racing thing came to Chicago and it was very annoying. They tore up Lake Shore Drive and the downtown area, and then the weekend the race was set to happen, it rained something terrible

The trip sounds amazing and had thought going. Unfortunately, as your best friend was dealing with cancer, I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometrial cancer so my life has been in a tailspin with medical appointments/surgeries and chemo, etc. I’ll look forward to hearing about it, especially if you’re able to blog. I bet you’ll have a phenomenal experience and will be around people who truly care for you.
As a chronic over packer, if you’re only a pound or two over they often will give you a pass especially if the flight is not too packed. It does depend on the agent that checks you in.
It is almost too creamy and I have dry skin. It is lighter coverage and does not last the full work day. Around the chin and nose it comes off pretty fast. Good for a day off run to the store to cover up redness. IMO. I think the liquid version is better
Hi Samantha, firstly I'm so sorry for your loss. Secondly I don't usually comment on personal choice but the other day I heard you say you are now considering Botox. This worries me. You have worked very hard on your strength/muscles in your body. Imagine for a minute, what would happen if you paralysed those muscles and stopped working them. ? Atrophied muscles ? Same in your face ❤
My divorce should be final in the next month or two, and I’m taking my first solo trip (2 weeks!) and it’s to the UK. I’ve never been, and I’m both ecstatic and terrified.
Now I’m really missing Austin!! Austin is such a FUN place with so much to do! I just had surgery for my endometriosis and a few other female problems so I’m laying in my hospital bed watching my girlie Sam! I’m so happy you got to spend almost an entire week with Angie in Austin! When you find a good, cute pair of cowboy boots 👢 it makes outfits so much more fun and their comfortable! I love the pair you got! Do you remember which store you bought them at? I tried looking back on your IG stories but it was too late the post was gone. My parents and my aunt and uncle just got back from Ireland and wow the pictures are amazing! You and the #SamSquad will have a blast! Everyone has to bring the electric converters that is one thing you don’t want to forget! I love the makeup Girlie!
