Fool of me to hope this RenFaire would ACTUALLY be in Germany... We have Medieval Markets and all here in Europe, but i'd like to attend an American Renfaire once, it looks like a cool experience, seems there are a lot of really talented artisans there 😃
helloo! do you know where I can find a comprehensive list of when and where those markets take place in germany? I've been wanting to go to one, but I can't really find any in my area :(
My guild works this event. The rabble @15:38 is Barret's Privateers. But I wasn't there that day. I'm glad you had a good time! It's a great faire with a high concentration of cast members from the original Agoura Faire.
Thank you for talking about the petition and adding the link to get folks to sign it. We are ever hopeful that the Faire is enough of an asset that is will be saved. I having been going to this Faire since 2015 and it very dear to me. I wish you had showcased some of the people who make the Faire what it is. For instance, the Baron, who has been there for 27 years, the Knights Templar, the Dragonslayers, Washer Well Wenches, The Fool and his Family, to name a few. It is very family friendly faire with plenty of entertainment for both children as well as adults. You did cover most of the food places quite well. And yes, those meat pies are amazing and they sell out fast!
Many of my SCA friends volunteer at this faire! It means a lot to them, and I'm so happy you got to experience it and spread the word about saving it. 🥰
I was there last weekend and it’s a great cozy faire! (It’s actually in Eastvale, which is Riverside county). I liked the permanent structures, lots of entertainment and food variety, and the affordability of the tickets. It doesn’t have the vendor breadth and diversity of Irwindale, but it has permanent jousting stands and a bird show! ❤ ETA: I had the sausage roll from the meat pie vendor. It too was delicious.
Oh freak!! That’s the one I’ll be going to!! Finally a video of this Renfaire, I was searching for one cause I like knowing what’ll be there at a place I’ve never been to, so thank you for this video!!
Thank you so much for capturing the lust of history, entertainment, and beauty of our fair. I hardly get the opportunity to experience the fair as an actor. I discovered loads of things i was interested in after watching your video. Most of our historical military groups are volunteers operating from donations. We love playing our character proudly in the streets with each other and the audience. If you enjoy living history, there are many groups that are open to new participants. Each have a unique historical focuse (guilds, merchants, crafts, science, military, theatrical, musical, ect). Definitely, come down, and when you find something you really like and want to be a part of, ask how you can become a participant of the festival.
This year was my first time at the Kronenburg faire and I LOVED IT so much!! I can't believe this might the only year I get to go. It was so "cozy" and everything felt so personal and intimate compared to the bigger faires I've been to. What a fantastic experience.
Signed the petition! Also it would be so cool to see you at the Bristol ren faire! That is my local faire and I love going! I can't wait to see your video on it!
I had no idea there was a second ren faire in southern ca! I'll definitely sign the petition but I'm not sure if we have time to go this year. Also, I'm rather sensitive to loud noises, do you happen to know if the musket firing happens at the same time(s) each day? Anything to help me prep would be amazing :D
I’m not sure if it’s the same time each day, but I went today and they had a section on the schedule that says when to be aware of musket firing noises!
Oh I can't believe I missed seeing you while in LA! I hope you had fun here! Thank you for making the video and sharing the information about the lease!!!
6:31 DIE HAT WOHL NEN VOGEL!!! This looks like a nice place to visit, but besides a little less american commercialist bastardization of the overall topic than on other renfairs, what makes this faire specifically german? Just wondering because I couldn't see anything that really stood out to me as german in your footage. Was expecting at least a bit more german words on singns and stuff, but most of it seemed more like the typical "ye olde" theme that can be seen all over these renfairs.
a lot of people were wearing historical german clothing rather than historical british clothing! lots of landsknecht costumes but I didn't video many of them bc it was mostly people just hanging out and I didn't wanna be creepy lol
Remeber, you guys can always visit us in Germany for some really good mideviel festivals. Were always happy to teach other countries more about us than just WW1 and 2. The Peter and Paul Festival is real good stuff, over some days the City turns completly midevil and replays the preparation for war, the actual battle and the party afterwards.
I was so excited to hear that you're planning on coming to the OH Renaissance festival! I live in Ohio and go at least once every year. I've only been to the Ohio one so I will be curious to hear how it compares to others. In my experience, it's really crowded and the lines for all food items are super long, especially now after Covid... the crowds are so much worse now.
I was going to mention the Texas Ren fest but you said it's already on your list. We also have a few smaller ones but not small. Also Colorado has a really good one as well. I am a Colorado native but now live in TX. Love your videos. 💜😁😘
I JUST went there last weekend for the first time! I'm not well versed in ren faires and have only been to RPF, but this one was nice and cozy! Not big and crazy like RPF which for some might make it boring, but it was a nice relaxing ren faire day that allowed for more people watching and stuff. If I lived closer I'd get a season pass and go just to hang out and have lunch! Unfortunately it was a 2 hour drive for me, so I probably will only go back if enough friends are going and I can join their group. I'm still signing the petition though so that others can continue to have fun!
I recognize the falconeners from the CA renfaire. From the lazy few years. The guy with the beard is really funny but I didn't get a chance to talk to the woman this past year. It also looks like a lot of vendors from the Irwindale one are here too. That's pretty cool.
Love these video. I nevermind new this was here! FYI, that faire is in Eastvale, and it's part of Riverside county, now Los Angeles. I'll go and sign that petition, and maybe I'll have a chance to go before the end of the month!
On behalf of the Archers of Ravenwood we encourage you to try the Escondido ren fair in March April, and also Oct. Nov. Every year rain or shine. Come see us learn the art of the bow and the history of 15th c england. Thank you for stopping my Koronaburg and we hope to see you in escondido sometime soon
This looks like a fun little faire! You guys should come up north to the Sterling renn faire in NY! (Not the NY Renn faire, that one is only so/so) Sterling is so fun and they have the perm. structures that are so cute! The staff are into it and it's a lovely day when you go! :)
This faire is in my hometown! I went there once in maybe middle school? I haven't been able to make it back since I started attending faires in the last couple of years
3:27 😂 This brought back good memories. My mom took me to the renfaire several times before I even started school. She ended up getting telling off from my kindergarten teacher because I was singing what do you do with a drunken sailor and it was considered inappropriate. My mom was also very into musicals and some kf the songs I picked up from her listening to sound tracks were considered even worse when I switched to them 😂
If you want a really big Renaissance Festival with amazing shopping, an immersive environment and good food I cannot recommend the Kansas City Fair enough! I’ve been going as long as I can remember and it’s always a good time!
Would love to see you guys come out to the Wichita Kansas Renaissance fail in September and there one in April. So we have 2. It’s only on the weekends
10seconds in and disappinted that it is not a german renfair but just a "german styled renfair". Not sure what that means so ill watch the video and find out but if you are ever in germany check out our fairs, we habe some really awesome ones 😀
Heya, If it was supposed to be a german Style ren faire the in character people make a lot of sense. We usually have medieval markets here as an equivalent and most people use it as an opportunity to kinda soft larp. Most people here get really into character and the SCA comparison definitely fits. Sadly also the part about commercial stand selling cheap stuff. we get that a lot too.
Was it last year or 2 years ago you went to Salem, MA? I thought you might go to King Richards in Carver, MA. I'd be interested to see how it stacks up!
Question - you're wearing the Holy Clothing Amelia Maxi overdress, yes? Did you add the sleeves yourself or is this from somewhere else? I love the look and want one myself, lol!
Looks fun! Out of curiosity - what makes this renfair German? From what you showed I haven't seen anything German, neither historical nor modern, so just wondering why it's called like that :D
a lot of the patrons/actors were wearing historical german clothing rather than historical british clothing! lots of landsknecht costumes but I didn't video many of them bc it was mostly people just hanging out and I didn't wanna be creepy lol
ah so sorry, i've been strapped for time on everything lately so I've just been letting youtube place my ads automatically, but i'll see what i can do about putting them in better places!

Oh no I’m sorry that was misleading!!!
@@moth.faerie It's not your fault, it's just my hopeful brain playing tricks 😅
haha, had the exact same reaction :D I knew it couldn't be, but hah the hope still got me!
me too 😂
helloo! do you know where I can find a comprehensive list of when and where those markets take place in germany? I've been wanting to go to one, but I can't really find any in my area :(
Signed the petition! I really hope they meet their goal, that ren faire looked so well put together.
My guild works this event. The rabble @15:38 is Barret's Privateers. But I wasn't there that day. I'm glad you had a good time! It's a great faire with a high concentration of cast members from the original Agoura Faire.
Barretts represent! ❤😂🎉
Love how you kept The Toasted Clover's singing as you kept showing other locations (3:35) Quite the pleasant editing choice.
That pumpkin purse is amazing!!!!!

I enjoy your videos. I'd like to one where you outfit Micah so we get male options for Ren costumes. Just a thought.

As a worker of both faire and fest, I appreciate that you came and hope to see you both next season!
i recognise a lot of these shops from my local faire down here in escondido! like dice witchery and that little essential oils cart.
Kermit!! How fun, this seems like such a nice ren fest. also chicago style ftw👍🏾
I NEED to know is the star Damascus people have a website! PLEASEE!!,!!!
I visited the Koroneburg Festival on a very hot day this year, and practically melted from the heat. Fun, little fair, though!
I had no idea there was a second ren faire in southern ca! I'll definitely sign the petition but I'm not sure if we have time to go this year.

Wow I just went to this Faire today! Your videos make RenFaire look so fun that I wanted to try one. It was a great first experience!
This video was calming and going to the ren faire with you is ALWAYS fun. thank you

it looks so cozy and comforting!! 💕🥰

Signed! I’m moving to the west coast in a couple years so I hope it stays!

Last September! I really want to go to that one, but I don’t have time this year 😭 it’s definitely on my list for next year!
The socal surfer brah accent mashed up with a very loose understanding of what german sounds like absolutely took me out 😂
Omg, do you go to your local SCA group?
Question - you're wearing the Holy Clothing Amelia Maxi overdress, yes? Did you add the sleeves yourself or is this from somewhere else? I love the look and want one myself, lol!
It looks like it’s a layer she’s wearing underneath!
they're a pair of tights i cut up for sleeves!

Anyone else had so many ads? Already on the 4th lot of ads at 15 minutes in which totally ruins the cosy vibe 😒
Yea I've noticed an insane uptick in the amount of ads lately, and not just for one creator in particular
ah so sorry, i've been strapped for time on everything lately so I've just been letting youtube place my ads automatically, but i'll see what i can do about putting them in better places!
having Christian religion there seems odd but appropriate for the theme lol
