Looks like it was a lot of fun for the attendees! When I venue shopped for my wedding some places were so rude, cold, or disinterested. Like they were doing me a huge favour by allowing me to tour their facility.🙄 Luckily I found a place where they actually cared that it was my wedding. The marriage didn't last but I still have fond memories of the wedding 😂
This looks so fun! Props to you for taking on such a huge mountain of work and coming out victorious! I would love to attend a future one and can't wait to see what you do next :)
This event looked like such a good time! Putting on something that big will obviously have a learning curve but I think you guys did well and now you have practice for a next event!!
This looks like such a fun event; I'd love to go to something like this in the future if it exists in my area! Also, as a person who is high-risk for covid, I'm so happy to hear that you took covid safety seriously!
@@moth.faerie I'm in the PNW, so there probably are similar events around. The ren fair just happened recently, and I would have liked to go, but no event I've seen is doing anything about covid safety, and I've heard the ren fair is always super mobbed, so I didn't feel comfortable going to such a big crowd, even though it was outside. One day I'll go, though! So yeah, thank you again for providing a safe opportunity to those who could go to your event!
The Boston/New England area is very romanticized in my brain as a lifelong SoCal resident - I thought about going to college there and the concept of *real seasons* is just 💘 Needless to say, I would love to go to one of your events someday. So, I hope you find ways to keep this event going on for many more to come! Logistics can be a nightmare and, for a first event, it looked like everyone had an absolutely lovely time.!🧚♀It looked so fun and whimsical, and like the perfect place to push myself beyond my comfort zone because everyone there wants to be there. And the fact that you took safety very seriously and had a place for people to wind down if they needed to get off the dance/party floor is incredibly thoughtful.
My book lover side is giving one of those yells that can shake whole cities and be heard from across oceans, and I'm kinda doing so too, I NEED SOMERHING LIKE THIS
this looks like so much fun, my friend just mentioned she wants to go to a fantasy ball! I already have so many ideas on what to wear :) also sorry if you haven't seen my comments in a while, I've moved house and had been watching your videos on my TV with a coffee so hadn't been able to comment but I've been watching each and every video
This looks like a blast, though exhausting with all the work you put into it. I hope it was a wonderful night full of lifetime memories. If you ever plan to do this in the PNW I'd definitely save up to go. I need more events like this in my life.
You all looked lovely. What music was choosen for the ball? Was there a theme / genre to fit the mood? Also you should definitely check the terms for the venue, it does sound very unfair that they kept the bottles you reserved and payed for
HOW do you get foundation on with a spatula so easily? I've tried it a few times and love the coverage it gives, but always find that the spatula skips on my skin weirdly so it requires a bunch of blending
I get a big glob of it on my hand if that makes sense? So there’s a lot on the spatula. I didn’t have as much luck with it when I just grabbed a little, it ended up too dry
@@moth.faerie I think that must be it, that I'm not taking enough up when I try it. will see if that helps! also, your candor in talking about the successes and struggles of the event is really appreciated. i'm tucking some money aside so that i can join in the revels for the next round, as it wasn't in the cards for me this year - and hopeful that a different venue will make fete 2 fae (working title) more relaxing AND more lucrative for you all! it's clear from start to finish how much love, labor, and logistics you and the team put in.
oh my goooooooosh I want to go to one of these SO MUCH but I live in the middle of nowhere!! This looks like it was absolutely beautiful and maybe someday I'll host something for my friends too
How absolutely magical! Nothing magical about setting up something like this though, that's a lot of hard work! Well done! How odd that they let you provide alcohol, but not remove it when you were done, that seems... more than a little odd. I wonder if there's any point in following up about that, or if it would be effort wasted at this point.
Did the venue tell you in the contract for the event about keeping any leftover alcohol? That's a weird policy if so. You paid for it, it should be yours.
Thank you so much for sharing! I couldn't here the audio very well but it seems like your part of the organ organisers. I live in somewhere these kind of fantasy balls never exists. But I can live the fantasy through your vlog🤍

Omg everyone looks STUNNING straight out of a FAE-ry Tale
I really love how they gave you honest feedback and helped you with your eye makeup instead of just saying it looked fine. I love girlhood!
Omg I’m obsessed with the Cruel Prince series right now and Love that you went with Jude vibes! Your whole look is just-chefs kiss!
This looks so fun! Props to you for taking on such a huge mountain of work and coming out victorious! I would love to attend a future one and can't wait to see what you do next :)

Looks so fun! Anyone here from the Netherlands/Belgium/Germany/Luxembourg who wants to do this? 😊

Oh I love how fun this event looks. You mentioned holding one in March again. Have you thought of a city/state yet? I'd love to attend!

Oh wow that was amazing! I really wanted to do something like this in my country, but I'm not sure it would have venues or people interested...
I want that necklace and would love a tutorial on that.
I really hope this keeps happening, because one day I'll be able to make it
