Obviously not. I would probably be dressed the same as her if I was doing the same movements. A helmet is there to protect your head - if you're not out there doing jumps or flips, or in the position to get hit by people, a helmet is probably overkill. A fall, especially from those movements, is likely to end her up on her knees, or her bottom, at low speeds. I know some people suit up to the max for everything, but really, it's often overkill. That said, better to be overprotected than under.

KatieAnn Bradford if you got to a skating rink you might see one kid with a helmet. Don't be so soft.

I never wear helmets or knee/elbow pads bc they get in the way
