You can actually make a lot of caps with settlements.
Step one: upgrade your charisma and big sale perk
Step two: use your settlers to grow tatos and grow a lot of tatos
Step three: sell tatos for over 50 caps a piece (maybe more I think it was like 100 caps a piece)
Step four: PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!

One does not simply forget to save for 30mins, you're not playing a Bethesda game right unless you have a finger on F5 at all times.

Brandon Klette Mostly, yes. Companions was way better than Fighters guild though, and a lot of them were fairly equal..
Skyrim maybe far more polished but is not as compelling as Oblivion, they are both good and trump the other in their own ways. Fallout 4 by comparison to Fallout 3 and New Vegas is definitely an immense downgrade however

thats why i have like 3 lore friendly raidio stations including Atom Cats Radio , Atomic Radio and WRVR they all add new songs and are a fresh and fun surprise .

+POOpStiNkPiE Well, the story, the new power amour system that out-ranks every other game's power armor systems, the new modification system (that actually works quite decently without being that OP), the side-storylines, the conflict of morals, the political struggle of 3 different major groups, the new minigun in a helicopter feature, the new never dieing companions (for those who rather not refrain from using their explosives when they need to have a companion), the dog companion (who's cute), the suspense, the banter, the new character-voice (which adds immersion), the adventure, the dialogue, etc.In my opinion, Fallout 4's hype was well-deserved, unlike Destiny's.

+Kal - EL i jumped on something and was catapulted into oblivion
I have 161 hours played and I've had 3 crashes and a few funny glitches
+Night Power My only issues were getting trapped under a car (which was fixed by fast traveling away), I fast traveled to a place and kept getting blown up as soon as I loaded (loaded last auto save and fixed it), and my game got stuck in the loading screen after playing for like 10 hours (restarted the game and it loaded fine after that). None of them broke the game, though.

It just wouldn't be a Bethesda game if they didn't release an 80% done product at launch that they know full well still has game breaking issues, but promise to fix said problems later in the form of patches and DLC that you will be charged for. Why? Because BUSINESS... and also because Bethesda can't evolve with the times and get a better engine already (#FirstWorldProblems) :D
But we'll still buy the game and all future content anyway, even though we know that the industry is playing us. Why? Because... FALLOUT & BETHESDA & OPEN WORLD & GUNS & DOG & HOLDS US OVER UNTIL ELDER SCROLLS VI!
The play testing is good, but only in certain areas , it feels a bit like overconfidence to me.

Because it's running the 11 year old Unreal Engine 3, the same one that's given us atrocities like Leisure Suit Larry, and awesome games like every single Borderlands ever.
Let's compare that to Fallout 4, running on the Creation Engine that only saw light of day 4 years ago when Skyrim launched (November 2011), end even then the version in FO4 has been massively overhauled.
Other companies are still using the same engine they have for far longer, have you ever heard of Rift, it's a little MMO that runs on the engine that Bethesda used to make Morrowind.
I'd say you're analysis is incorrect, other AAA developers are still running on engines older than Bethesda's, and engines can be tuned and retooled to do anything you want them to. Age of an engine means nothing.
Also, I've played for 120 hours and only seen one bug in the post game.
On the bright side, they don't do it anywhere near as bad as Electronic "Arts"
Alex Theisen Okay, my honest opinions:
1. I was mostly joking, I know that Bethesda games are not primitively made or always bad in performance. I still usually love them.
2. I haven't played Arkham Knight because, overall, it doesn't add a lot over City and Origins aside from new takedowns and the batmobile. It does seem good but not enough to warrant another purchase from me.
3. I appreciate your knowledge of AAA engines, although I sometimes debate which is the best strategy for big games like Fallout or Elder Scrolls? Improve a pre-existing engine, or work with a more advanced one that may provide more capabilities? I think it depends on the project itself and the pros/cons of current tech.
4. I'm glad you haven't encountered many bugs. As long as any game I buy, regardless of developer, functions as intended to a fair extent, that's enough for me. However, frequent crashes, restarts or lost data, I do consider unacceptable, especially in AAA titles.
It's challenging enough to buy ever more advanced and expensive games. It is not our job to "play-test" something creators know is still incomplete so they can charge patches and DLC for issues that should have already been handled. I understand that no game is perfect, developers work hard, and deadlines must be met. But I don't think expecting what you pay for to work is an unreasonable standard. There are those who argue that we don't even have the right to ask that anymore. I disagree.
