    New subscriber here! I've seen some of your quilts made up at a quilt shop my husband and I visit. My HUSBAND goes there?!? Yes he does! He restores vintage sewing machines and he's been working on Singer Featherweights for the Amish woman who owns this particular shop. He restores the machines and sells them to her. Anyway, I've see your quilts made up and I love them! I just could not remember your name. Thank goodness this video was recommended for me!

    Can the large Diamond 60 degree be used in place of the mini per the pattern?

    • @kristamoser
      @kristamoser  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The pattern says it can be made with fat quarters and needs 4 Purple, 4 Turquoise etc..does that mean it needs 4 fat quarters of each color?

    • @kristamoser
      @kristamoser  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you want the variety you'll need to get four in each color... You can make it with less fabric, but you wouldn't have the variety of colors in your stars.

    How do you manage the bulkiness that results from several seams meeting in the center of the star?

    • @kristamoser
      @kristamoser  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the pattern I have you pressing each seam open before adding the next piece... this makes for the flattest center because it disperses the bulk out in all directions!
