Great job with the video. I watched it because I did the same upgrade on my 2015 Highlander and love the way it looks but don’t love the clunking sounds it makes especially when there are more than two people in the car. Did you experience this? I’m considering removing the hardware but worry the larger tires might not fit.
I currently run stock size but on the Nitto Nomad Grappler. They have 40k on them and should be good for another 20k (I do 25 to 30k) miles per year. But living in Florida a lift is helpful during the rainy or hurricane season due to flooding. For brakes, I recommend Hawk Performance Talon Rotors (high carbon metallurgy) and SD brake pads (carbon metallic pads). I had cooked the oem rotors and pads by 20k on my 2019 Highlander. I do drive hard and do towing quite a bit. So I went with this brake setup that's very fade resistant.
Have you had is problem I found on the amazon comments; "This kit comes with sway bar link extensions. This does not work as the link scrubs and grinds on the strut." '
What we found out is if they are installed upside down they won't work, so likely that is the issue. We have had no issues with the kit installed correctly
@DaysofPainandVictory I just installed this exacly how it says on the instructions plus I watched your video and still have the clunk in the front like something is binding up or rubbing
I lllllooove this video! 👍 See myself fighting with this bustard spring. I was thinking if I am alone like that! But not…😅
What kit is this?
there's a link for it in the description
Great Video! Thank you for posting. How long would it take a mechanic shop to do this?
with a lift probably 4 hours. Thanks for watching!

probably need to recheck all the bolts to make sure nothing is loose. Thanks for watching!
Surprised by this one. Didn't know someone made a lift kit for one of those....maybe build it as a Ghostbusters tribute car?
Where do you get wheels and what size 17s?
They are factory wheels
@DaysofPainandVictory i have the same set up looking for more side wall. It's hard finding 17× 7.5 wheels on a 5× 4.5 pattern.
Looks good! What tire size did you go with? Looking for something that fits stock rims.
Thanks! went with 265/60 18s

@DaysofPainandVictory could you have gone up to a 256/70/18 and still get needed clearance?

@@DaysofPainandVictory Thanks! Also did you add the rear shock? if so, how much longer did you go with?
Siiick! I’ll be coming over when I get my family highlander we can knock it out quick. Jk👀 lol thanks for video! Can’t wait to see the roof rack!
Any opinion on torq engineering 2 in lift kit?
bro you are risking your life with only one jackstand sitting holdin in the mid front. If you even look closely it seemed to be slipping a bit.
there was still a tire on the ground in the front, I think it was good. thanks for your concern!
