to me this song in the beginning sounds like zack is going on a mission he thinks is going to be super difficult, but later at 0:32 the music becomes more relaxed and turns into a montage of zack easily defeating his enemies. The shinra troops that are super easy to take out really sell this. great track
So I'm not sure if this is supposed to be able to happen, but if you run in specific areas where you would normally encounter enemies they won't spawn in. If you run on the far left or right of the area where they would spawn you don't have to fight them.
Yeah most mission areas you can just hug the walls to avoid encounters like in the plate interior or the desert. Much harder in the big open country map, haven’t quite figured it out yet.

This is absolutely not the combat theme they use in the remake. This is the psp original.
