This is a good panel replacement video, but this is not the way they would do a concourse restoration. They would have got all new bracing and an entire trunk panel that goes all the way to the floor pan and all the way up the rear too the valance panel. That way the seems would be in the correct place, there are no patches in a concourse restoration, they also would never have left the inside of those braces untreated just to trust all over again.
Hello, I have a 1967 Buick LeSabre convertable that needs a new trunk pan. I can't seem to find a replacement pan. Any ideas where to get one. Much appreciate you video. Thanks

thanks for the video, learned from it..
Great job
Why would you not butt weld in the panel?
Did you drill though trunk pan and brace
In concourse work you butt weld its the professional way to do a restoration so much work minus well do it right.?
Where did you buy the replacement trunkfloor or you just made it?

Can you help me replace a trunk floor pan in my 1970 Monte Carlo
Can you use a saws-all to cut the pan?
What do you do if braces are rusted out
lold at concourse

What a hack job😂
It looks very obvious they painted underneath trunk pan on top of all the rust concourse restoration.
Is it necessary to remove the gas tank before doing this?
That’s not butt welded . Moisture will get between the lap joint
