Trunk pan replacement 1967 Cadillac and many other GM models

This is a video I made showing the process I used to replace the badly rusted out trunk pan on my 1967 Cadillac Coupe. It shows my attempt at first to only replace sections of the trunk pan, and my ultimate decision to replace the entire trunk pan. This process would also work for most cars. I hope this is helpful to you in your do it yourself
This is a 120/240 volt mig welder that will do what you need, but also will weld thicker metal:
