  • This is a video I made showing the process I used to replace the badly rusted out trunk pan on my 1967 Cadillac Coupe. It shows my attempt at first to only replace sections of the trunk pan, and my ultimate decision to replace the entire trunk pan. This process would also work for most cars. I hope this is helpful to you in your do it yourself
This is a 120/240 volt mig welder that will do what you need, but also will weld thicker metal:

Nice do it yourself repair, you have motivated me to do some work on my 74 Deville that I was a little hesitant to start keep up the great work and the Videos.

I’m glad to hear that. Sometimes it’s hard to get the motivation to get moving on these cars. But it’s definitely worth it.

Thank you!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Do you have the eBay link to the trunk pan? I found a 65 parts car but I can’t figure out how to get it out without damaging it so I can reuse it.

I added the link to the part in the description, thanks for letting me know I didn’t have the link. Hope you get it repaired.
