The 11.30 cams will makes your intake valves hit the piston when the EVTC advances timing. Making it more of an expensive job but could be worked around.
That's a bloody good sound, very full sounding. I've an HR with the exact same cam spec, Tomei v2 headers and test pipes, and a JDM HKS dual. i think my tune is a little bit smoother than yours, as I'm missing the bark yours has

uhZeny no you don't need to do anything to the heads to make these cams fit. I did a bunch of supporting mods, Pathfinder coolant mod, and replaced all the timing chains and tensioners as well as added a Nismo oil pump. Your cost will completely depend on what all you want to do

Do you mean an HR swap or buying an HR car? To answer both, an HR swap would cost more than doing cams. Buying an HR car is certainly affordable these days, but I bought this car almost a decade ago, and at the time the HR was out of my price range. There's more options for boosting on the DE, but honestly it's completely dependent on the individual. HR is a badass motor. I just decided to push forward with the DE.

HR all the way if buying today :) Your car is sweet though!

Mr Zeqoz I did a number of things while it was apart. Springs, valve covers, water pump, tensioners, timing chain, Nismo oil pump, 25 row oil cooler, Pathfinder coolant mod, mishimoto radiator, and oil gallery gaskets. Basically a block refresh while it was down for the install.
@@VitaminZ77 is the the revup or normal de? ... I hear people have problems trying to advance cams on the revup on the exhaust side when they are pushing big power (700+) Also what ms values are you running on the ignition timing map near peak rpm (or degrees if you took logs...)?
@@4feeterszwagier good questions. This is a standard DE. My tuning was all on the Dyno by Z1 Motorsports, so I can't answer a couple of those questions. I have an uprev cable in the mail so I'll be able to get that info soon.

The 11.30 cams will makes your intake valves hit the piston when the EVTC advances timing. Making it more of an expensive job but could be worked around.

Minibull037 it's not that your tune is smoother, it's really the cams themselves and the Motordyne exhaust. It's much louder than the HKS

Those are rear bumper diffusers from lighterfaster. Not sure if they’re still around. The Voltex diffuser came with all the mounting hardware
