If a biker is splitting lanes between the carpool and the #1, as we do, and esp in CA, it can lead to a pretty nasty accident. If you're going to get in the carpool lane, stay in until there's a legal exit. PS - killer rev match on those downshifts. ;)

@@LuckyGarageUSA Cool! For awhile, I had a SL55 AMG in addition to a supercharged C5 and a couple of other NA Corvettes at the time. Only have two garage spots these days, so they are filled with two supercharged C5s that alternate as daily drivers.
Man, those LS1's and LS6's in the C5 'Vette sounded absolutely incredible, probably the best sounding small block they've produced and in a tie with the high winding 283.
Very much appreciate your video for the feel it conveys driving in a 650hp vehicle. Just finished my 641hp n/a pump gas 95 Sonoma ext cab and was only able to put a couple 1000ft runs on it before I had to put it away for the winter. Thanks again!
I live for the perfect exhaust note. Loud, deep, more bass growl than the tinny sound of some European V8's. I have heard some great ones to fit that bill, but this one is ranking dam near at the top. You have her sounding right, vicious and wicked. She looks great as well.

This video is completely representative of the reality and is exactly what it's like driving a lowered black C5 manual with awesome horsepower. I've only got about 475 horsepower. But but from the video it seems exactly like driving my car. Constantly running into traffic and slow minivans in your way. Constantly worried about cops always looking over your shoulder. Always got to be ridiculously careful cuz the car is going to scrape and rip the bottom off of itself. Louder than hail that even when it's just you and the camera in the car and you're yelling at it it can't hear you and you have to run the text across the bottom of the screen. Completely realistic. I love it. That's a badass car.
First, I don't think I could..with this car...fuel...probably WAY out there...VERY loud...now that that's out of the way OH GOD DAMN!!!!!!!!!! I had to listen with headphones on....thank you for sharing a very peaceful drive...

Love the build all around, definitely ready to go against a demon 170 possibly. If you do any "mexico" races, do a outside camera mount if you got the equipment, anything like a insta 360 gopro would make for a killer video.
Love the video. I think the C5Z06 is such a timeless design. Had a bunch of race cars and went to a performance Tesla and wholly quack a moly is it nuts fast, it would be hard to go back to a gas car but I sure don't miss that car payment. If I bought another gas car id like a C5 Z06 although its only a two seater and my Tesla seated 5 and would be quicker, I do miss slamming those gears though!

With today’s power I still think 650 is a lot of power. I’m in 40 lbs of boost and it feels crazy when the boost pushes you into your seat but I’m sure that’s what the vette feels like but it’s crazy to think how all these newer cars like hellcats and such are coming out with 800 stock.

I road in a twin turbo C5 Z06 w/ 650 to rear wheels years ago... Life changed forever. Made my NA C5 w/ cam, heads, and exhaust seem like a joke.
