Hey hey from Saudi Arabia! Yes I knew you were referring to Rita's shop. I had the pleasure of staying in an Airbnb with her in Cape Town! Such a lovely person!!!
I’m here!! On the replay! I love your top over your top, Roshida! So colorful! I love it!! 3:25 the way I’ve quietly quit and I’m really there for the health insurance coverage, honestly. My son graduates next year and we are outta here. Hopefully by the end of 2025, hopefully 🤞🏽 by August… but by December FOR SURE!!
Yasss, that’s my question too Roshida. How to invest responsibly? I like the idea of having my money work for me, via investing in the stock market. Yas, Alignment is a top key! What makes you happy or makes you feel good, is another key. Taking the time to be aware is another key, too. Great topic & discussion. 🤲🏾🦋😎
Stopped shopping @ Whole Foods 2 years ago .. prices too high and the store vibe is uncomfortable for me, dropped shopping @ Walmart year ago .. merch quality is cheap, feel justified when they dropped their DEI programs. Donations are given to organizations are helping ppl who lot all in natural disasters, participants who completed job training programs and are returning to work. These organizations reflect my values as you said. ❤❤❤
Yes I gave up Wal-Mart refuse to step foot in a store or look online but Sam’s club is my store haven’t been in since November 6th TRULY STRUGGLING HELP A SISTA Lord have Mercy 🙏🏽
I typically only visit your content to learn, observe, and gain understanding from a Black woman perspective. But I’d like to add that it’s virtually impossible to generate income (particularly passive income), without participating and contributing to this capitalist system we’re under. But I think you are so right about changing how we spend our income. ❤
Hi Roshida, watching from the future. Great conversation, been thinking about this subject for sometime now. Big supporter of small businesses especially Black owned.
Good morning Roshida, I’m watching this replay from your future. Very important topic for serious consideration and action. Keep up the excellent work to educate, teach black women & often with their families. Continued blessings & peace ❤
Love love love this. Just finding your channel Roshida. I’m wanting to leave the country soon. I’ve had a coffee shop here in the DMV for almost two years and am not as supported in this ✋🏻neighborhood They literally walk pass me to support Starbucks…my cafe is my only means of living and it’s. It good at all... I feel like my existence as a black woman in America isn’t enough and isn’t wanted. I’m so happy to have come across your channel. Maybe things will work out for me either here or in another country 🤷🏾♀️ peace and blessings ❤
WP will always and forever advocate for and support WS even if it’s at their own detriment. At the end of the day, it’s about power and control. It’s about them being on top and everyone else being at the preverbal bottom. They’ve been this way since they came into existence. 🥺 ♊️ 👩🏽 🌟 🌎
The Amish in Pennsylvania are the only people who don’t participate in this system because they are independent and off-grid. Yet…they all voted for Trump. 🤣 😂. At the end of the day, WP will never give up or share resources if they can help it. 🥹 ♊️ 👩🏽 🌟 🌍
I am realizing that I don't need all the stuff I am buying from Amazon. If I truly need it, I try and find it elsewhere and just wait a few days. My Amazon packages don't come the next day anyway. I recently had a family member pass away and had to go through just a lot of stuff. In the end, it's just stuff. Also, I am not Christmas shopping this year. It shouldn't be about buying gifts and boosting America's economy.
As I do have a couple of online stores, I will say this doing print on demand is easier for people who don't have the money up front or the space to house items in their home. It's cost affective from that point. To me, where it stops being cost affective is the fees that Etsy charges. Those are NUTS!!!! On some items I am literally making 2 cents profit the rest goes to them and the vendor, but the price is they charge is crazy. Needless to say, I am not doing well. *sigh* It's a grind.
Tuning in from the future and haven't gotten into the full video yet, but I had to comment to say I love this hair color on you, Roshida. You look gorgeous in this video. Okay, back to the video.
I want to shop at more black businesses, especially for clothing. Why don't we have an exchange like Amazon where black products/clothing can be sourced?
I’m ready but I have some things that I don’t want to part with because they will help me make money wherever else I go, so could you please speak on how to ship your household with you. I have my passport already but don’t know how to proceed.
Ways to stop buying with people you choose not to. 1.Stop surfing the internet. 2.Put your phone down. 3. Shop in neighborhoods for the one item you need not the 5 you want. 6. Get rid of all the things you know you couldnt take with you if you had to leave the U.S. next week. 7.Delete all of the shopping apps and notifications. 8. Instead of shopping for clothes, do dads and things that make you look rich shop for things that are making you rich. (Got that from Halisa and Rick) 8. Focus on saving just as hard as you focus on shopping.
@vienicestyles Hello, I'm not sure if you know this or not but that channel is one of Phil Scotts. Before he grifted over to being a fake pro-black, he used to speak horribly about black women calling us wild hyenas. He knew that to keep his platform he had to change it up.
@@Emerald5-v8wmost black platforms don’t support black women, hence why I don’t support them. We need to start from scratch and create our own platforms.
It is almost impossible to live in this for profit at anything and anyones expense . Just do the best YOU can do , read , research . I am trying the no spend - weekend, week one month at a time!😊
I’m gonna tell you right now ESG investing was an investment banking trend that quickly proved to be unsuccessful and unrealistic. The most ethical firms tried it and realized it’s not compatible in a capitalist system. As Black Americans, I suggest yall try to make as much money as you can to enrich your life and that of your loved ones.
I’m investing my money wherever I get the biggest ROI-it’s purely a financial decision. The key to free is to be debt free, live within your means and find a community where you are loved not tolerated.
Mines is finding ways to cut back on paying taxes. If Trump don’t pay taxes, why tf should I. Plus that money doesn’t benefit me. Our taxes are going into funding wars and bailing out corporations, not helping the middle class, especially black families.
