@@SubieLife10 skated since 3. Started riding bulls in rodeos at 13. Rode bulls for 20 years. Got hit in the face while training to go bask to the pros. Crushed my c6 woke up a weekf later paralyzed from the chest down. Haven't skated or rode a bull since. I've always skated. I was just decent at riding bulls. Better than i was at skating. My skate was like my first friend. No biggie.

Bobby Pulio really have distinctive bigger picture about culture significance of skateboarding. Yes the board with four wheels is the basic, the center, of it, but there is lot of things that became part of the culture.
Moment when he start talking about it is at 1h:40min.
I love this episode just because Pulio actually dissect the whole skateboard culture.

This is an episode I've been hoping and waiting for a long time. Love Bobby and him talking puts a smile on my face. My spirit animal. Still skate 7,5s and 7,75s myself. I could relate to that wheel story so much, I remember skating home in the dark one time, there was this hill and I thought it would be great to bomb it since there was no traffic at all and I had brand new set of bearings as well. At the begining of it I see my wheel travelling all on it's own and going next to me. I'm like 'awww man'. Went back to the spot with a torch, going up and down the road and sidewalk. I found the wheel and the bolt as well, but the saddest part was that the bearing (or both of them, I can't remember) were gone. Spent good amount of time searching it in the middle of the night and just couldn't accept the fact that where it could have disappeared.

It’s cool and also strange hearing skaters talk. Skating in the late 90s and 2000s it was mostly print media and a selective few video parts where you could pick up a bit of personality from your favorite skaters. 2 that always stood out were Dustin Dollin singing at the start of his Baker 2G part, and Josh Kalis talking in the reason, “skate, chill, run from the cops, smoke a blunt”.

Bobby Puleo. Damn; so great to see you on the net’s best skate retrospective talk show. “Hobbiests” is the greatest term to coin the current “mass wave” of new skaters today. It’s the same sort of thing that happened very mildly in the mid-90’s, but has EXPLODED as a now “retro-revival” activity. The core culture is surely being over-saturated with fad-posers via over exposure. Justin Bieber is a “skater” now because it’s a hip thing to do and helps people like that to cling to a popular relevancy. Great show guys, and thank you.

One of my all-time favorite skaters, and i mean all-time...PERIOD....Not only is he a skate rat, but, he's unapologetically EAST COAST!!!!!

I never expected him to look and sound so much like a cross between Gino Iannucci and Frank Gerwer lol. Another sick episode.

Ha I saw the other side of that Courthouse incident on The Come Up. He tried so hard to stop but bookin it without brakes, whoah skater's crossing. It ended up not being bad at all. What's his face wasn't having any of the riders multiple apologies though.

Crazy we had the same early board! The GT coyote III ! A 80s wide board shape on 70s plastic board technology...as soon as I had some birthday cash I bought the Caballero

Didn’t even realize Bobby was a real pro until I got in my 20s at least because of those fake boards at the 98 cents and up stores. Wish I bought one to save if I ever have a kid.

Roger said on this ep that Gonz doesn't talk about the past! So I would say it's pretty unlikely that Gonz will come on the show & they can only get people on that want to be on!

Did not predict Bobby P. would talk so much. Basically took the show over from 0:10 and didn’t give it back.
