Thank youuuu, I’m starting in photography so I’m still very shy when it comes to explaining poses, most of the time I tell my model to do whatever they feel like doing. I’m hoping with time I’ll learn to be more confident, your tips will for sur come handy

Great advice! As a model, I don’t like working with photographers who don’t give me cues. I can’t see myself, lighting, angles, etc so I rely on the photographer to guide me.

Thanks Jess, I always tell my client to send me Pinterest photos of what they invision for their shoot and then we make it their own. It cuts down on confusion when they had an idea and you had an idea and they don’t match LOL. Sometimes the client won’t speak up and then after the shoot say I didn’t like my pictures.
From all the collabs you've done, other photographers always compliment your posing. I hope I can be at your level one day

Its been a year since i started this career
Its been hard to coach people that wants to have picture but they dont know what to pose, seriously its hard but im enjoying it cause your coaching people what to do on this craft🥰

Okay, literally one of the best free "how to pose people who aren't models" plus bonuses. Typically you have to pay photographers to get the ins of this. Thank you for sharing your tips!

1:10 - I tried doing that with a 10 year-old subject last Christmas, and she gave me this look at the end that kind of said "What were you just doing?" Oddly... none of the shots of her fixing her hair came out well. But that last one with the look? One of my favorites from that shoot just simply due to her expression.
I had a couple and the woman was a natural but the man was uncomfortable but once I showed him a reference photo from Pinterest he relaxed. Some people are visual learners.
At @2:57 when you started talking about Pinterest boards I immediately became a subscriber 😂😂🙌

I would love to see a video on how you reach out to modeling agencies and get your models for shoots! I'm sure some of them are fun, but how did you start getting paid for doing fashion photography? I'm wanting to go down the route and drift away from weddings...because they're not my favorite let's be honest.
