Congratulations! I stumbled upon your video today and am a new subscriber. I am 61 years old and live Georgia US. I was so happy to hear that you got your casts removed. I too broke both of my wrists as well as all the fingers on my right hand, and three on my left hand when I was in my 20's. Also during this accident I tore the meniscus tendon in my knee. I was also worried about healing longterm and getting my strength back. I am happy to say that while I get a bit achey on rainy days, the bones have mended and I am able to knit and crochet and use my hands and wrists just fine. I think in a couple of years it will be almost like it never happened. It will feel a whole lot better much sooner, but you still might be surprised by twinges for a bit until they are gone for good. I wish you all the best.
I was sorry to hear about you losing your father as well, my Dad died in 2002 of liver cancer. We were told he had about 6 months but he past away in 3 weeks. I saw the video about your wedding and was so happy your Dad could be there. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. The surprising thing I have learned with regard to grief is how quickly happy memories and laughter return to our lives after the deepest of sorrows. My Dad's been gone now for 22 years, but I still talk about him with my husband and laugh and imagine what I would like to tell him. I have found that the thing we miss the most about loved ones is not what they did for us, but what we were able to give to them. I honor my Dad by trying to be kind to older ones and share the love I want to give him with others. It really is comforting, even after all these years. I hope you continue to feel better and will soon be back to all the things you love. Have a great day! :)

Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel, and sharing your story.
It gives me so much hope to hear how you recovered from your accident -though I’m so sorry you had to go through that.
Thank you also, for sharing about your Dad. What an awful thing it is to lose a parent. I wish so much that we could have them back.
Thank you so much for your comment, it really does lift my spirit and fill my heart ❤️
