✨ I know it can feel overwhelming to let go of things we’ve held onto for years-whether it’s emotional baggage, old habits, or even physical clutter. You might be wondering, ‘Where do I even start?’ My advice: start small. Pick one category, like your closet or your calendar, and take it step by step. Progress, not perfection, is the goal.
Which area of your life feels the most cluttered right now? Let’s chat about it below-I’d love to help you take that first step!

This has been helpful and relatable!
I could think of something or thingS with each point you gave.
Adopting the clothes or food uniform is what I have to do to get back on track with my fitness too.
I’m thinking that with that method I can devote more time and energy on what matters most to me.
It’s like a baby step to my bigger goal.
Btw, I too have a hubby who can tackle his new routines/goals with such fierceness and nothing gets in his way. I’m still trying to get to that happy place of not putting things that come up over my well being… cause there will always be something!
❤ Thanks again for these tips and the reassurance that someone else out there is going through the exact same thing in their 50’s! 😊
We have to support one another!

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I’m so glad you found the tips relatable-it sounds like you’re already taking meaningful steps toward prioritizing your well-being. 💛 Adopting a “uniform” (whether it’s for food or clothes) really can free up so much mental energy, leaving more space for what truly matters. And you’re absolutely right-life will always throw things our way, but giving ourselves permission to make ourselves a priority is such an important shift. Small steps absolutely lead to big changes, so keep going!
Your husbands determination is inspiring, but remember, we all have our own unique paths-and it’s never too late to find yours! I’m cheering you on, and yes, we absolutely need to support one another! ❤️ Keep me updated on how your journey goes! 😊

Please share what your food uniform meals are! That would be so helpful. What a great idea. Thanks!!

Thank you for watching and commenting! I definitely will put together an explanation of my "food uniform" sooner rather than later. It's something I just do, so I'll have to put some thought into how to explain it best and provide examples. I'll ask my sister for some input - she's the one I first coached on doing this and she still talks about how well it worked for her. Is there a particular reason you're interested in this?

      Thanks for watching and commenting!
Several years ago my sister was getting into shape and trying to lose some weight. We were talking and I was telling her about how I was eating and what my week looked like. I believe it was her that commented, "oh you mean a food uniform like a style uniform". When I thought about it, that's exactly what it is. The word has stuck and now whenever I'm in a situation when I need to get my eating back in check for whatever reason, I rely on my food uniform.
Basically, I stick to the same foods through the week, so I don't have to think about it at all. I have my breakfast, lunch for work and dinner all ready to go and no stress involved. It's not batch cooking. It doesn't get boring. It works for me and my sister.
I can make a video about it soon to go more in depth into this very simple way I have learned to conquer my meals when I don't want fuss, when I want to eat nutritious and I don't want to overeat. I hope this answers some of your question💕🌱

You have a lot of good ideas. If you can write, you should write an article about this and submit it to various places. Just a thought…

Thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement! Writing isn’t something I naturally gravitate toward-it always feels like my thoughts move faster than my pen! 😊 But I do love creating resources that are actionable, like the checklist I’ve made for this video. I’m also thinking of adding this as a post to my website so it’s easy to access and revisit. Your suggestion is a great reminder to keep finding new ways to share these ideas. Thanks again for the support! ❤️
