I know that the rules were different, and it was a totally different era. But the ‘76 Steeler defense is the best I’ve ever seen. Over the last 9 games they gave up 28 points. Think about that. Five of those games were shutouts!! Like I said it was a different era and the rules were different. But all things considered, It was hard to shut teams out once. Let alone five times. It’s not like teams were doing things like that back then on the regular. Four players from that defense are in the hall. And you could make a very strong argument for three more. For my money, the ‘76 Steeler defense is head and shoulders above em all!

This video is all over the place players shown was not even on the 2010 team. And FACTS are that the 70’s Steelers defense were the dominant and the 2008 Steelers Defense was the closest runner up to that defense though the rules are different from then and now. This video needs to be revamped to be more accurate, just my opinion

The 2010 Steelers defense doesn’t get the proper credit because the team lost the Super Bowl. This was a nasty defense that consistently knocked out QB’s. They lost the Super Bowl because the offense kept turning over the football.

The Steelers lost to Green Bay in the Superbowl in 2010..this vid is generic..a smith and diesel are underrated pro bowl type players .Hampton was the best run stopper 3-4 nose tackle...ike Taylor is criminally underrated..hes a big physical cornet that locked down every receiver he faced...just had some hands..Harrison and Woodley were a fearsome pass rush duo..polamalu was the best linebacker/safety to ever play..and McFadden was a solid 2 corner...warrior was an excellent steady MLB..but overshadowed by Ray Lewis..and Timmins was a speedy cover/pass rush mlb

Half of your video shows highlights & players that weren't on the 2010 team! Showing highlights of one player while talking about another. Constantly throughout. 2008 Defense was better - toughest schedule in the NFL in 25 years based on prior year records, every week seemed to be a stud opponent and they finished 12-4. More importantly, they were battle tested every week!! No cupcakes to build up their record - like the Patriots had for 20 years!! 2008 team won the SB. 2010 team lost to Packers. Maybe remake the video and make it more accurate not only in facts but video lining up with audio.

2010 defense was only allowing 14 ppg. It was special and if allowed to play how they did in the 70s, that number would definitely be lower.
