3.2s in wet! crazy. I've done 2.7s 0-100, and recently a 6.4s 100-200 on a stock motor EA888 Gen3 with a big ass GTX3076r. These fuckers are good engines!! wonderful results, even in wet!!
I run 6.3 on a tte 535 hybrid with 515bhp at engine on s3 👀 with ecotune sauce

I agree, lovely engines! I own a mk7 GTI stage 3 with safe 400hp and with dragy went for 9.9sec 100-200, but it is manual so with DSG it would be around 9.5 :D
Finnally an EA888 properly tuned with a big ass turbo and an external wastegate! Most of the time, people don't push'em that much
It's internally gated.
The headwork is a massive factor, you couldn't push one with bolt ons and internals that hard.
The way this thing skips from 40-80 is incredible 😂

The EA888 is an evolution of the earlier EA827/113 developed in 1972 for the Audi 80. VW/Audi has been honing and perfecting this engine for over 50 years.
Speedo cam is a great addition, can actually see how fast these cars are, quite hard to judge from just the inside cam. 👍🏻👌🏻

Even with 330 hp and 355 lbs/ft of torque, I feel like the gear ratios in my DSG are too long to really enjoy on the street. After watching this, its clear those long gear ratios are perfect when you have 800 hp 😂

Chevy Small Block, Toyota 2JZ, BMW M S58 (I-6)/S63 (V8), Honda K-Series.... I believe the VW/Audi EA888 belongs in the pantheon of All-Time Greats. The mark of a great engine is its great even in stock form and they effortlessly respond to tuning while remaining reliable and durable with ungodly amounts of power over stock.

There’s etuners here in australia as well, definitely keen to do the same set up but a wagon golf r, I can’t handle those small hatches, I want the room as well if I need to travel I have it all in 1.
