This episode actually has made me cry. It made me think of my son. I bought a brand new WRX back in 2002. Drove it like I stole it until I blew the motor in 2012. My son started out in the back seat as a 5 year old then as he became a teen switched to the front. He loved the sound of the exhaust, turbo spooling and the blowoff valve. The car sat in the garage until in 2019 I bought another engine. For the last five years I have just been collecting parts. Bigger turbo, bigger intercooler and up pipe. New aftermarket computer. Replacing every hose and clamp that goes on the intake manifold. Gonna get the Prodrive PFF7's refinished and get the car repainted Aspen White but with a slight bit of pearl in it. Then I am gonna give it to my son. He works hard. He is now a over the road truck driver. He is soon gonna switch to local driving. He has no car right now and I think its only fitting for him to drive the car he grew up in. Loved this episode. Thanks
The S2 was on a mission. Also this highlights how much fun the S2 is as a manual compared to the auto… definitely needs to find the old school 90’s saloons with manual gearboxes on this channel.
Shame the S5’s manifold let go but at least it wasn’t catastrophic. Leaving us with 2 iconic motors to enjoy - the I5 and the VR6. Both legendary for the right reasons.

That S2 is absolutely brutal and you can't beat the sound of that 5cyl. The s2 vs golf was far more exciting to watch, being old skool vs old skool. Watching 1000+bhp porsches and BMWs is OK, but the whole point and shoot auto box thing just gets a bit boring after a while. Please bring on more old skool classics with manual boxes where driver skill really matters!

Great seeing Audrius back proper legend. The S5 TBH should always do toughened rods before any power increase . Its a known weakness on the V6. VAG Technic is full of V6 engines awaiting full rebuild just for that. Seen these pop at just 25k miles.
