I always appreciate how many secrets and unique quotes and encounters there are in this game, the replayability is insane, but they're way too rare, I literally had 520 hours on Steam, and I only met the Unashamed twice and the Twins *ONCE,* and I never even met the Dwarf Hater
Encounters get more rare as you play if you want more Encounters you have to do new game. Even then alot of Encounters are extremely rare. More rare than others.
i think they did stuff rare so that feeling of encountering a twins a really good thing i just found the unashamed once and damn i still remember the encounter and what happened to him,

@@nicoabrevaya on that first game i got the unashamed after some shames on alot of orcs when i was new at the game and ngl some orcs are way easier to get than others, i just got it because i was shaming orcs left and right and adding everyone to my army

The sheer amount of variety for a game like this, an experimental project with a AAA budget... It's still a miracle for me that Shadow of War exists in the landscape that it does
I would like to have a custom character also I would like it if at the start of the game you'll have to do specific quest to get a specific ring of power like you could get a ring from Galadriel cause since Etariel has Clebrimbor's ring you could take it or have Clebrimbor forge a new ring or become a Nazgul from the Witch King it would be cool
I actually got a story on a Uruk who was tortured, a while back I had this Uruk called Prak the Smith, and the guy was funny, wielding a regular old hammer and used it to destroy my enemies, it was good times……however I notice he was captured so I thought I could get to him later after some missions………he died because of me, not a day went by when I thought of prak and his loyalty to me, however one day as I was attacking a captain, I heard a yell and I looked behind me (my character) to see prak! However his face…….he had a huge slash on his face with the black burns on it as well, one of his eyes were just pure white and I felt very very terrible I almost cried seeing what they did to him, me and him had a great fight and I soon brought him back to the light, of course I made him my bodyguard again and I made sure no matter what, prak would be safe, so I saved him from being tortured, from ghuls and so on, he was rising in power, soon I was facing a enemy called Ulog the tower and he was a huge challenge, however just before I was going to die, prak comes in and uses his new hammer (he got a upgrade that allows his hammer to be fire) to kill the tower, showing this a sign of repay for saving him, I knew he was my greatest warrior……..however this changed when I was fighting against another captain with prak, he was using a explosive bow and was about to attack…….when prak went in the way to save my life, I was in rage and killed the sniper and I mourned his death, I took the sword coming with him and promised myself to never get rid of it, and prak never returned……at least that’s what I thought, at the final battle where you fight against your nemesis, I faced them all on my own and was about to die……when all of a sudden a Uruk runs in, tackling the captain and stuffing a bomb in the mouth allowing it to explode, killing the captain, I wondered who it was when I saw him……Prak the Smith, he had a metal face on with a metal jaw on but I can tell it was him as he yelled “stand up bright lord, the fight isn’t over!” I smiled to myself and soon allowed prak to join me in the final battle, hell prak even joined me on taking the kingdom of Gondor, I made him my bodyguard once again and allowed him to join me on raids and attacks as I join him with his, prak has been my greatest fighter and friend ever since, whenever I save him, he saves me, I honour his bravery and his courage and uses the sword he gave me on his sacrifice for me, always treat your Uruks with respect, because they will do the same for you Edit: if you want another story on a olog I have, plz let me know and I will try it
Seems like I’m getting a lot of likes from this, might as well tell you all another story, a story about a olog who saved me from the wrath of Zog, his name was Kelfesh and he was one of those green hair ologs, he became the hunter when he first spawned in but then he became the world’s greatest arena fighter in the world, becoming the brawl master and he…..wasn’t satisfied, he would always fight the strongest warriors and hey he was never satisfied in battles, that is until he saw me, every time I would die he would get excited that I came back, so we would fight and I would get outclassed by him and soon come back, bringing him more joy, as his power increased he became a war chief so I decided that maybe it’s time that he pays for what he has done to me, so in our “final” battle we would clash once more before I end him……he would later come back with a metal claw as a hand as he challenges me, he would defeat me always so I decided that maybe he would like to join me…..turns out it was easy, so I would always bring him to wars and battles, making sure he was satisfied and he was……that is until the last battle to face off agains Sauron, when I came back as a Nazghoul he was depressed, he never found a good challenger to battle……..so he betrayed me but not by capturing one of my men or by ambushing me, by taking me head on when I approached our first battle, he told me that in his depression he realized that he has done all that he can, he wants to have one last final battle with me……I accepted the challenge and we battled, it took about three days in game, he would heal and I would heal, he would get his own troops to fight so did I and we would kill them all before fighting against each other, we had our own scars and bruises and slashes to each other but I would stab him in the gut as he kneeled down before saying “I knew I picked the right choice to fight you……go ahead Bright Lord, finish what we started” and I did what we promised each other in the battle, I gave him a honourable death, his name would go down to history as one of my greatest warriors in the bright lord side……and a story that reminds you on this, no matter what you do and you feel unsatisfied, just know there is one person or one thing that will make you happy before your death……for Kelfesh, it was me who made him happy

Love the logic the betrayed captains try to induce. "My own men tried to kill me, therefore it's your fault!" Don't uruks try to kill each other on a daily basis to rise up the hierarchy? Why would they blame Talion for that?
Such a fun game, if only uruks were capable of being loyal more often or not staying dead when I would like them to return with a scar. I probably still be playing it to this day.
I'm glad I'm not the only one still coming back to this game. It's one of my favorite comfort games, if I don't know what I want to play, I'll pop in Shadow of Mordor or War and play around for a bit.

Every time I fail to save my followers from bleeding out or trying to help them in a losing fight and fail, it breaks my heart because I care for my allies and when they betray me I just let them kill me for revenge, I know that not how the game works but we all make our own stories with this game.
I wish the devs come up with new contents for SoW I just can't seem to get tired of the game and maybe they can finally fix undead followers betrayals.
"Sting of your sword is pathetic. Like Halfling." is a really clever shout-out. Like the attention to detail in these minor lines that statistically you'll never see is what sets this game apart from a lot of other games.

I do know that Matt Mercer & Travis Willingham did some of the Uruk voices, and I believe Sam Riegel voices some of the grunts, while Laura Bailey plays Eltariel. So most of the "main cast" from Critical Role was involved with Shadow of War in some way (they also did a Shadow of War one-shot D&D session as well!).
So good to see you're uploading SoW stuff again. Such a shame that this game got neglected and never got another update. I still come back to it from time to time, still a good game to play now and then.

I very much enjoyed taking advantage of the flaws of the garrison system to create myself a fortress full of "Tark Slayers" that all bore a different warpaint color, a unique scar and as much variety in weapons, class and tribe as i could fit. It was glorious. Spent so much time on that game and it always will be one of my top favorite. My sole and only beef with this game is that the better you get at the game, the least the nemesis system matters in the end. You dont get much out of uruks once you start to insta kill them on sight.
I love how if an olog already has his arm cut off and you kill em with an execution just to cut the nub and that metal claw off again for them to come back with the same fucking thing. Did they pick it up and slap it back on?

I still remember that one Uruk who cheated death however many times until it’s level was so high that it one shot me every time I encountered it thus increasing its level again and again
Tuka the dead meant him in gorgoroth and was level 30 something at the time he was a bit higher but nothing to worry about I was just running around doing the usual when he jumps me and destroys me obviously I'm mad so I go back he then proceeds to kill me 2 more times I finally blow him up and an hour later he comes back half his face scarred he kills me and then with a small army to back me up I cleave him in two a few hours later I do the zog quest and there he is undead which is ironic cuz his name I finally kill him and later on I upgrade the rune he dropped and it has a quote of his saying something along the lines of "Good fight gravewalker we both deserve a rest" I dont know why but after reading that I had a newfound respect for tuka the dead
Amug Flame of War is my favorite uruk thus far. Started out as a nobody, got a lucky hit in, got promoted, killed him with fire, he comes back stronger as the Flame of War, I brand him, he's now one of my top spies and warchiefs. He's also died again, several times, and has come back every single time to serve me

Could you make a guide about special attacks of Orcs in SoW? Well, most of them can't be countered and you need to dodge but there are some special attacks that for example trigger QTE. What do you think?

For the curious, Bilbo Baggin's had a sword sword with him referred to as 'Sting'. Well, I say short sword... It was an Elven Dagger. He also passed the dagger on to Frodo during his quest to destroy The One Ring.

"Uruks"" I just want them to make a game where you play as an Uruk and build your army as an overlord. If for real i didn't play the game for the story/Talion/Galadriel i wanted to see Uruk fight and build armys with the nemesis system and i know a big half of community did also. I think they did great job with the fight pits it helped to keep me in game for a long time but don't know why they didn't continue to update the game with more dlc or fight pits content just left as it is, with no balance and many cheaters..... i hope they will show more love in the sequel and atlast keep updating it, your vids always give me a breath of hope so thank you.
My first ever captain was an orc called The Caragor Tamer. He died twice and came back both times to continue his service as my bodyguard. I liked him so much, I made him a legendary orc and spent most of my time on game in Nurnen just so I would have him as my one and only bodyguard. He also saved me from dying at least 20 times. Dude's to this day my best follower

When I managed to recruit an Uruk necromancer called "The Gravewalker," who had Hatred of the Gravewalker due to Talion stealing his gimmick... then he saved my life from another captain, shooting the guy down with the line, "Gravewalkers have to stick together!"
I was impressed by this one Orc I killed, set him on fire and thought it was enough. Bastard came back 5 times and on top of that developed a resistance to Flame. It was fun for a while before I accidentally cleaved him in half, haven't seen him since.
I expect this this to never be seen, but I had two followers. One is Amug Flame of War, and the other is Ar-Kaius... Something, I just call him the beastmaster. Amug has died at least 3 times while in my service, and each time he pops up again still loyal. Dude shouldn't even be walking, he's got half a head. But in my darkest hour, he comes back from the dead to remind me that his service is as eternal as his flame. Ar-Kaius was an olog who had given me a lot of trouble in the past, and upon his defeat, I recruited him and had him serve as my bodyguard. Dudes awesome, summons graugs (of which he's also enraged by), caragors, etc.. He also hits like a truck. Well, he died defending me from another olog. Once again, in my darkest hour, this man comes in wearing a bear trap on his head, presumes that I say welcome back, and beats the everliving bejeesus out of my attacker

I think we should play as an orc who acquired Talion's last ring and he goes to form his own empire and face off against Celebrimbor.

I do know that Matt Mercer & Travis Willingham did some of the Uruk voices, and I believe Sam Riegel voices some of the grunts, while Laura Bailey plays Eltariel. So most of the "main cast" from Critical Role was involved with Shadow of War in some way (they also did a Shadow of War one-shot D&D session as well!).
I have an unkillable orc with a bag + metal jaw. I mean his face is basically gone, he doesn't need to keep the braces in.
So good to see you're uploading SoW stuff again. Such a shame that this game got neglected and never got another update. I still come back to it from time to time, still a good game to play now and then.

I very much enjoyed taking advantage of the flaws of the garrison system to create myself a fortress full of "Tark Slayers" that all bore a different warpaint color, a unique scar and as much variety in weapons, class and tribe as i could fit. It was glorious.
Spent so much time on that game and it always will be one of my top favorite.
My sole and only beef with this game is that the better you get at the game, the least the nemesis system matters in the end. You dont get much out of uruks once you start to insta kill them on sight.
I love how if an olog already has his arm cut off and you kill em with an execution just to cut the nub and that metal claw off again for them to come back with the same fucking thing. Did they pick it up and slap it back on?

I still remember that one Uruk who cheated death however many times until it’s level was so high that it one shot me every time I encountered it thus increasing its level again and again
Tuka the dead meant him in gorgoroth and was level 30 something at the time he was a bit higher but nothing to worry about I was just running around doing the usual when he jumps me and destroys me obviously I'm mad so I go back he then proceeds to kill me 2 more times I finally blow him up and an hour later he comes back half his face scarred he kills me and then with a small army to back me up I cleave him in two a few hours later I do the zog quest and there he is undead which is ironic cuz his name I finally kill him and later on I upgrade the rune he dropped and it has a quote of his saying something along the lines of
"Good fight gravewalker we both deserve a rest"
I dont know why but after reading that I had a newfound respect for tuka the dead

Amug Flame of War is my favorite uruk thus far. Started out as a nobody, got a lucky hit in, got promoted, killed him with fire, he comes back stronger as the Flame of War, I brand him, he's now one of my top spies and warchiefs. He's also died again, several times, and has come back every single time to serve me

If you're curious what I'm referring to, it's when the Olog says "Sting of your sword is pathetic. Like Halfling". For the curious, Bilbo Baggin's had a sword sword with him referred to as 'Sting'. Well, I say short sword... It was an Elven Dagger. He also passed the dagger on to Frodo during his quest to destroy The One Ring.

"Uruks"" I just want them to make a game where you play as an Uruk and build your army as an overlord. If for real i didn't play the game for the story/Talion/Galadriel i wanted to see Uruk fight and build armys with the nemesis system and i know a big half of community did also. I think they did great job with the fight pits it helped to keep me in game for a long time but don't know why they didn't continue to update the game with more dlc or fight pits content just left as it is, with no balance and many cheaters..... i hope they will show more love in the sequel and atlast keep updating it, your vids always give me a breath of hope so thank you.

My first ever captain was an orc called The Caragor Tamer. He died twice and came back both times to continue his service as my bodyguard. I liked him so much, I made him a legendary orc and spent most of my time on game in Nurnen just so I would have him as my one and only bodyguard. He also saved me from dying at least 20 times. Dude's to this day my best follower
The Bleeding out Betrayals always hurt my soul because i always felt bad as fuck for not making it in time to revive them in the first place

When I managed to recruit an Uruk necromancer called "The Gravewalker," who had Hatred of the Gravewalker due to Talion stealing his gimmick... then he saved my life from another captain, shooting the guy down with the line, "Gravewalkers have to stick together!"

I was impressed by this one Orc I killed, set him on fire and thought it was enough. Bastard came back 5 times and on top of that developed a resistance to Flame. It was fun for a while before I accidentally cleaved him in half, haven't seen him since.
Can I say that this game has a great sense of humour and charm with the characters via the Nemesis System.
I expect this this to never be seen, but I had two followers. One is Amug Flame of War, and the other is Ar-Kaius... Something, I just call him the beastmaster. Amug has died at least 3 times while in my service, and each time he pops up again still loyal. Dude shouldn't even be walking, he's got half a head. But in my darkest hour, he comes back from the dead to remind me that his service is as eternal as his flame.
Ar-Kaius was an olog who had given me a lot of trouble in the past, and upon his defeat, I recruited him and had him serve as my bodyguard. Dudes awesome, summons graugs (of which he's also enraged by), caragors, etc.. He also hits like a truck. Well, he died defending me from another olog. Once again, in my darkest hour, this man comes in wearing a bear trap on his head, presumes that I say welcome back, and beats the everliving bejeesus out of my attacker
I saw you. I always love seeing captain stories, I also have a ton. You have some awesome captains here, but most of mine betray me
41:23 genuinely makes me feel bad. I got this dialogue once when I got killed trying to save one of my favorite captains. Bad enough that my favorite orc died. Now he comes back and blames me for it? :'(
