thanks for sharing, I so want to start sewing on paper but have been a bit intimidated because I’ve never sewn before, like this starter machine you have 😍…love watching your videos
THANK YOU! I have a new sewing machine sitting in the box waiting for me just to use on paper projects and I'm too nervous to use it because I'm afraid I'll "mess up" but I guess it doesn't really matter! This gives me the confidence to go ahead and try it!
I don’t think it should really matter to anyone if you are technical or not! Your projects speak for themselves, and you are giving help to people who are VERY interested in learning to sew on paper! I have 2 sewing machines sitting in the box. So I am pulling one out and going to try to thread it so I can just start! Thanks for the videos!
Thank you for doing this video, you took some fear away from me trying. Now, is there a particle weight of paper you find that works better than others and /or a paper to stay away from?
Thanks for sharing. I can never get the stitching to the edge of the paper. It always comes out so crooked😂 is there a particular size of needle you use or any needle would work?
Been so intimidated of this. You make it look so easy. Do you have a link to the machine you have? I have never used a sewing machine in my life but this looks simple enough to try. I bought the we r makers sew easy kit but it makes your cardstock "bend". I just haven't cared very much for it, so I do not even try to use it at this point. Its been a waste of time and money for me. Now don't get me wrong, it's probably something that I am doing wrong. So I'm not meaning to put it down, it's just not for me.

Thanks for this video😊

I don't backstitch on my paper either. I pull the threads through like you do. I think it looks better that way❤

I don't sew on chipboard. Otherwise everything else (thick and thin papers) have not given me any problems
I’ve seen sewing on paper for over 20 years. I made a part quilt sign for my daughters baby shower 3:14

What size needle do you use for sewing on paper??
@@marylg51 it depends on the size hole you want. Singer had a lot of sizes at Joann’s. Try them out and see what you like

TFW! 💕 I just use the standard needle that the machine came with

Its a machine I bought, I think from JoAnns, a few years ago. Im not sure if they would still have it in stock.
Bought a machine solely for paper stitching but i cant quite get the tension right for the "bottom thread" portion (i dont know proper terminology 😏).
