    I’ve been really excited about the Godzilla motor, and I’m gonna have to get one! I think they’re going to start being used instead of the Coyote motor in a lot of these truck builds. The simplicity, and the torque will be awesome to help move the extra weight of a truck. 👍

      @Victor Garza I really like the coyote, but I’ve been told by engine builders that they start getting unreliable around boosted 700 hp for street use. I know the Godzilla’s new, and time will tell, but there’s quite a few of them out there running 800+ boosted horsepower with stock engine on the street.

    Chevy's latest and last "LS" is 650/650 SAE net (i.e. with all accessories and "corrected" to a "standard day" at 1500 feet ASL) naturally-aspirated from a 6.2 liter small-block. And you can get one in a car that "stickers" for under $60,000 and comes with a 10-year/100,000-mile full powertrain warranty and 2 years of "free" dealer service and maintenance. And it's "obsolete"..
    "Godzilla" is a 445+ cubic-inch "big-block" with "VVT" and variable-displacement oil pump and "direct-injection" and needs $7500 of aftermarket "high performance" parts and "tuning" to make "675 hp" NA "naked" on an engine dyno and with "long tubes" and who knows what "correction factor" and is "MODERN" AND "HIGH-TECH".
    With its typical Ford "big-block" 70ish CC combustion chambers ain't NO amount of "porting and polishing" ever gonna make "high performance" on a "big-block", lol.

    • @PaulSter
      @PaulSter 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not sure I follow you, at all.
      Who says the Godzilla "requires" $7500 worth of aftermarket to get 650hp?

  • @deeremeyer1749
    @deeremeyer1749 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    .700 "lift" flow is a joke of a "spec". If and when an "American V8" engine valve reaches that "lift" it has no duration there and the piston is effectively in "neutral" and not "pumping air".

  • @deeremeyer1749
    @deeremeyer1749 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Beginning of the video definitely not a "crate motor". End of the video it's a "crate motor".

    Why yall want this for a mustang? U can do more with less weight using a coyote. This engine is best served in old school lightnings, old broncos, big trucks and old school vehicles that originally came with a 351 or larger
