@@calvindirkmaat the block off is to redirect the air from the rear exhaust manifold to a central point (in the crossover pipe) where now the exhaust pipe flow is equal (hence the name the equalizer and the new sound).
I have to hand it to you guys on this one. This a f**kn genius. I can count endless conversations about how shitty the 3800 exhaust sounds (and basically every FWD V6) and always wondering why guys spend their time and waisting money on louder exhaust systems for the cars with these engines. I've always been a fan of keeping them quiet for a reason lol. This changes the game for sure. Thanks guys for coming up with this system design.
It’s a nice product. Seems to be only for L67 or L36 Supercharged platforms with Phenolic Spacers or Intercoolers. I’m not sure. That’s nice to see everything included for OEM Fitment.
Or just re design it all it looks stupid and probably doesn't gain no power you have 2 banks ramming each other of exhaust tryna breath I want sepperate true duals not a equalizer If I can run true duals I can install an X or H pipe like tf is this
Engineers with there heads up there asses I tell ya You guys paying someone too much famn money someone that whent to college and wasted his time and money got in at ZZP and can barely hold a ratchet or get a socket on a bolt
It would work just fine on an NA 3800. The exhaust is the same on all of the series 2 and 3. Might be a good idea to get some heat shielding between the crossover and throttle body though.
I buy a lnf and put my gtp on the sidelines just for yall to do me like this. How many were made on production? Is this a grab it now or they will be gone part or plans to continue the run after you sellout
Please stop including Allen bolts. When those bolts get old, rusty and seized from heat cycles they will strip out long before they break loose. Imagine having to get a grinder in there. I didn't like the fact that my zzp rocker bolts were allens to. At least they are soaked in oil constantly. Do like zzp tho. Keep new products coming.
seems like a lot of heat is redirected further up...how would that effect other components of the engine? Would it also work with a bone stock series 3 3800 in a 05 grand prix base model?
Here is what it sounds like on the street for those who haven't heard it.

What does block off do? Is that for turbo or just supercharged option

This video is Exaclty what I needed. But can you guys do a follow-up video on how to remove engine?
Man this is so awesome 👌
This might be good for the regal LS👌
so my question is since you guys almost never sell headers anymore will these be a great alternate for a 3800 for over 300+ whp?
So cool, almost makes me wanna pick up another w body
Just a suggestion, you guys should make a new rear direct bolt on manifold/power log as an option/upgrade instead of using the block off plate.
We do! The turbo rear power log would be exactly what you're looking for in this scenario.
@@gbrunner24 Oh nice! You have a link to that power log?

Any power gains or power loss? I’d have to assume some power loss due to longer pipes?
loss
Any clearance issues by the brake booster without shorter dog bones?
Love that dude's accent.
I heard a header version is in the works, is this true?
YES
Compatible w NA 3800? I plan to supercharge in the future, but might do this first
I would like to know this too

Yes will work just fine on an N/A setup.
How's the throttle body clearance on a non-s/c 3800? Does the manifold height make up for not having the supercharger?
Did you find out?

The current batch is currently sold out, but we will be making more. This will be a normal production item going forward so no need to jump on it now.
If I have a NA gp, would I need any kind of spacer for the intake for this to fit?
Would this also be good for 02 buick regal ls 3800? How much$$
Does this have any affect on power (Gain or Loss) ?
Just by looking at it I'd assume a bit of a loss. Especially if you're coming from longtubes
Definite gains over stock. Long tubes will make more power but they cost over a grand
Any power change with power logs?
Now the right manifold can flow as poorly as the left😔

Will this work with the ls4?
Will I need to buy your TOG downpipe or can I use the factory downpipe with it?
Have to use the TOG pipe
Will this fit on an L26?
How much is cats off 2005 3800,Grand Prix
I want this. But a catless TOG
So many people worried about power for no reason lmao. It’ll still support far more than that garbage 4t65 can take!
4t80 swap for the win
Can you guys make a zzp 3800 gtp shirt
So does this work for non supercharged ?
Yes, absolutely, still sounds great on an N/A car. We have the system installed on our 04 Grand Prix that is N/A and it sounds great.
Do you have to pulll the engine?
No you do not need to pull the engine for this instillation.
Would this fit the Camaro?
It will not, only meant for FWD 3800 applications.
It's 2 1/4 inch inside of pipe.
Yea super easy to install once the engine is pulled. 🙄

How much is it? To Puerto Rico 00610
Lmao he said Cadillac converter
much easier when the engine is on a stand and not in the car lol
Could somebody buy one and slap a turbo on that crossover then hood dump your exhaust for science

i need a v8 buick regal

Exit pipe is only 2 1/4" ...Think about it! Whish I knew before I ordered one.
It uses the same size downpipe as our z3 kit, which supports well over 450whp....
Yeah the down pipe is 2 1/2" to 3"! But your exit pipe on the equalizer pipe is only2 1/4". I have one.
I never said misleading! I simply want to know for all of us what this product is good for power wise.
