I was watching you try to refurb a decoration into a horde base and I was thinking "this is gonna work almost as well as using a Ford Pinto in a demolition derby, isn't it?" A sad end to a great series, but it would have always ended this way eventually. At least this way you didn't have to see all your hard work at the base literally tumble when they pulled it down.

Great night! BTW if anyone wants to make ground level base to work, several cocentric circles of 2 block deep trenches with spikes/wire in between is what works well. This slows down and spreads out zombies enough to prevent them from overruning your positions.

The mods you showed in this series i will definetly try it out in the Final release. With that being said this weekend a long long Alpha stage ends and the new era of 7 Days to Die beggins. I'm getting old and flashbacks are a daily thing, wondering where it all went wrong, then clicking on start of 7days, for the next couple of hours killing so many zombies making me feel superior until they kill me then rinse and repeat, life is good.
I really enjoyed watching the series. I was a week bed bound due to "life happens XD" and it was nice being able to watch you grow from EP 1 till this one. Amazing end, too bad it is ending tho, but with the game going out of alpha there is no other way. I hope seeing more in the future 🙏
That's a fun tiny base build. Good job. I only with you had a generator and put a couple of blade traps on the front of the combine on either side of the stairs, mainly for aesthetics.

Would have been good for having a Megacrush base. You basically needed to jack up on Megacrush so you could run away and set up 4 or 5 other fighting spots. You need places you can be safe for enough time to repair, heal, reload and buff up. Usually rooftops works well.
From what I've heard Tem say, he doesn't like "cheese" bases like that.. though he has shown how to do them a time or 2.. Pseudo Posse has some amazing "afk" base designs though if you want ultimate cheese where you can do nothing all night if you want
@@shadowproductions969 I'm not asking him to cheese it, i'm asking him to put is expertise and mastery of base building to the test! I expect it'll be an uphill climb and most of it will be building prep and base construction then testing and retesting to see when its perfect!... Like after every horde night add an extra 10 blocks onto the path and see what you can add to it to make the path more deadly. 1 or two demos might ruin the hole things if not handled properly :P Its one thing to slap 5 blocks together and say i win. Its another thing all together to put together a masterpiece!
Last episode I already thought "This is the end (of course with Adele's voice😅)" but you nailed it... The first pre view after David last words "...we don't want to...." made it clear. Not this time... Sir, it was an honour to watch! 🫡🫡🫡

Love the battle wagon concept but missed opportunity to turn the harvester blades into blade traps. Unless you do it later in the vid and I am just too early to see them. It also would have been thematically correct!

I think the idea of show a future snippet of an incident or event is a bad idea, ruins the surprise of shit hitting the fan and now we sitting there waiting for it to happen instead and our reaction like oh yup.. instead of oh crap! Just some feedback the rest of what you do is awesome though keep it up!

Dude what a beaming ending to lead into the afterlife mod
With those bad gaps between ground blocks and structural blocks, I just use plates or sheets. They rarely beat on those.

At some point can you do a super convoluted horde fighting position? Snaking paths, traps and electric fences etc!

At 15:54 - use plate blocks to cover the edge so there's no holes for them to get into.
Plates are good for covering the dirt crevices, keeps the z's from getting stuck.
