Just a head's up to anyone thinking about commenting on how the scene with the MRI being left on in an unlocked room is unrealistic, the comments section on the previous video to show this clip got real nasty real quick over how MRI machines apparently ARE left on like this. And that there really is nothing stopping someone wandering on in. .... So, I guess we just have to accept that this scenario is totally plausible and in no way ridiculous.
There is usually an extra room where the patients and the staff leave everything magnetic. You don't get from a hallway directly into an MRI room, especially not with swinging doors that can be pushed open so easily. It was just for the show. They also got some other facts wrong. Just look up some videos about cryomagnets beeing shut off. Then you'll know that MRI magnets are always on. They just can't be turned off and on so easily. Btw it is really expensive to restart that kind of magnet, you need to cool it down to 4 Kelvin with liquid helium after it has been quenched by that emergency button. There are some MRI machines with a "normal" magnet, not a superconductive one. But they are really weak, they wouldn't pull a bed across a room.
@@carlakenyon6073 as someone who gets weekly MRI scans. she is almost spot on. they have 3 rooms, a locker room, the room where family and doctors are, and then the room with the MRI scanner. The locker room is for anything magnetic. wearing ANYTHING magnetic in an MRI is just suicide. its extremely dangerous
great that there's a physical reason for what the last patient was hearing but I hated how much he invalidated the very real experience of experiencing psychological conditions. I just find it sad that so, so many people don't view it as science, as them being crazy or just as real and valid as any other medical conditions.. It's created so many problems for so many, delaying them getting the help they need. Just because it's all in your head, doesn't mean it's not real. And as for crazy? Well, that's never a word I'd use.
Right? When someone has diabetes people don't say "oh it's all in your pancreas" as a way to dismiss their very real medical experience. Makes no sense to say "it's all in your head" as if that minimizes it. Of course it's in my head, that's where the organ impacted by mental health is, but that doesn't make it any less real then diabetes.
I just keep thinking about that tiktok where a girl gave her bf one of her kidneys and he cheated on her after.. NEVER give up one of your organs for a man who's prob gonna cheat. I'll give up my organs when I'm dead lol (I am an organ donor but only after I pass) Edit, I'm not saying that giving an organ to someone means they owe you eternal love. What I'm saying is he owed her respect enough to break up if he wanted to sleep with someone else. Even without the kidney, cheaters lack respect and discipline
Lol not all men cheat, rude to make a general statement of don't give up something potentially life saving to a man who's probably gonna cheat, they aren't all cheaters. It's just we hear all the bad stories so much more then the good ones

You know that, just because the MRI isn't being used doesn't mean it's not turned off, right? The MRI magnets take at least 30-60 minutes to stabilize after it has been turned off, so a scenario like this would most likely happen.
The magnet is never turned off. When it's turned off by this emergency button, it heats up and the liquid helium inside it starts to boil. Which they didn't show. And it usually takes some seconds to shut of after the button is pushed. Witnessed it for a cryomagnet myself.
Great to see the old cast❤ I'll always miss them
When the fire rescue guys are in there there communication is almost exactly how were taught by the book ( I’m a volunteer firefighter)

Yeah, Owen was played by Connor Price. The dude has shown up on a lot of guest roles and is actually a good actor. But I see why he is doing music.

It absolutly would, now would a random guy be able to rush into an mri room, probably not, but that's a different plot convenience
Read the comment above. You missed Dr Asher's gloves disapearing and then her gown disapearing too!
