We left AZ a couple months ago after buying & living in Maricopa for 3+ years...too many reasons why. The State has some awesome history and places of interest, but it's a scary place to live...especially in Maricopa.

I have been here since 2005 and I no longer have any desire to live here due to continuous electric and water rate increase. Governor’s plan to Turn wastewater to drinking water is the last straw.

They definitely are! I think June through end of September are worst. Then it's pretty much smooth sailing.
@EscapeToArizonmore like May through October. Im leaving after 5 years. Too hot and I have skin cancer.
1. Too expensive
2. Too crowded, you nailed it
3. They downplay the crime problem
4. Massive bubbles in RE and cars
