    Stayed there on many occasions and also when it was La Favourita. Planning on returning June 2023. Great video by the way!

    Thanks so much for this video! Your vids are getting better and better! (i.e. very informative for me). I grew up around Fermain Bay. Know it all too well. Last time there 2011. The wall has long ollapsed (south), many things have changed. No "Fermain Boat" 😉 anymore ... The "Beach Cafe " s still the same building as back in the 60s - but way different inside, cuisine and all the rest no comparison! That I still experienced. The "Buhu" and the "Rock Garden" I do not know (former Ferrnain Tavern perhaps?). Anyway good reason to come back for a visit! As well as the hotel! Last time I was at the hotel (for lunch) was in the 90s. Done a great job. The island is obviously going the right way! Must spread this vid to people who are not familiar with Guernsey. Not sure if they will believe it right away.

    Loving watching your TH-cam videos. I worked over on the Channel Islands in 2015 and fell in love with all those Islands.
    If your Mobile phone contract is with Sure Telecom, it was myself and a couple of other lads who gave you a 4G signal. I actually put a Mobile phone site in the Fermain Valley Hotel and did about 20 other sites such as Pleinmont, Petit Bot and Rohais to name a few. Also did Maseline Harbour and Stocks Hotel in Sark.
    I've been back to Guernsey, Jersey snd Sark once since then and intend going back a lot more.
    My favourite place I've ever been to.

      Glad you had full signal while u stayed at that hotel. Have wanted to stay there since the day I worked there.
      We stayed at the Del Mar which is really lovely as well. Next time you go down to Fermain Bay, get your missus a drink called a Hugo. It's a proper taste of Italy.
      I loved the Steak Espitatas at Village East and the Monkfish at Le Nautique as well.
      You're truly blessed to live on Guernsey

    Hi Ross, Love the video. I use to remember years ago you could get a boat back to St. Peter Port does that ferry still run from Fermain Bay?

    • @livinginguernsey
      @livinginguernsey  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Paul, unfortunately that boat doesn’t run anymore, such a shame.
