Great question. With this build even though its a stock, we wanted to replicate what someone might order at home. Alot of people will start on a stock engine, buy larger than neccesary fuel systems and maybe turbocharger , to be ready for a step up to built motor down the line. Thats the aim with going with a larger injector here. Additionally, Injector Dynamics 2600cc injectors perform very well even at low duty cycle for a clean idle and this mid 500hp target. On our blog post we touch a little more on that "prepping for more" subject :) Hope you have the chance to check it out! www.realstreetperformance.com/blog/500hp-k24-turbo-intake-manifold-testing/
Because we run our K20 Turbo on-track only in a prototype sportscar we can't fit much under the rear bodywork except standard OEM manifolds. So have you done a test of OEM manifolds ?
