    Ma Chem Guy I want to take a moment out of my study time to really Thank you for your effort in these videos. The one thing that makes it very amazing is that your videos are very short but in great detail, you just go straight to the point effortlessly. There are thousands of chemistry tutorial videos online that takes up to an hour and we don't get it because young people like me get bored. We only rely on youtube videos because we want to get a simple and clear understanding of each topic to get us started. This is because we spend 2-3 hours in a chemistry lesson every day with lectures talking for hours without a good approach to help us understand the topic so we don't like to spend another time watching an hour tutorial of one topic its demotivating. If you agree that the length of this video and his approach to teaching chemistry is BRILLIANT hit the like button.

    Very very happy with this now!!! I love how clear and well done your videos are! I know I comment every time i watch one of your videos but they are brilliant and are the perfect method of teaching for me! much better than some of my past chemistry teachers! THANK YOU AGAIN!!     I hope this doesn't sound silly, but why must we focus on the oxidising agent when explaining why a reaction occurs? Why not the reducing agent instead? Is it because of the definition of a standard electrode? Hopefully those questions make sense and thanks in advance, the video is helping me lots :)

    You are an amazing person and a great teacher for making all these and explaining it in a very clear way :) you've cleared all doubt apart from one.....
    For the last part if you had to show that the reaction would not proceed through Eo Value... If you were to do the Eo= Positive - Negative i.e. +0.77 - (+.54) = +0.23 Volts that shows that the reaction is feasible and it will happen.. but it doesn't. Could you please explain that.

      Sonil Zaki You generally need a difference of 0.4V for a reaction to proceed. Often a high activation energy will prevent a feasible reaction form happening. Hope that helps. Thanks for your kind words by the way! :)
