@@larinaagezailia6929 good luck to you too 🙌
Good luck Ehsan! :)
Same here good luck
Watch this on 2x speed if u can :) GO GO GO!
btw, I left off the salt bridge in my diagrams discussing the standard hydrogen electrode since I was focussing on that half cell only, but you need to include the salt bridge between the beakers in every single cell diagram.
Maybe 1.25 2x is madness
3x speex
Actually did this and got it done in half the time, still made perfect sense. My adhd got me clutched up
I am doing, thank you!
I love jack sm. I don't see any other chem youtubers analysing past papers and making vids predicting future paper topics and making such easy to understand vids on electrode potentials and just wow so yeah bro takes his stuff seriously
😂 thanks trxnqui
Ur a lifesaver dude. Best video on it yet
thank youuu!!!! this topic i probably will never fully understand but now thanks to your video i can hopefully gain a few marks here and there 😅

Damn, thanks for this man, legend!! I've been busy and haven't had time to make the timestamps, I will add them to the description ♥ :)
My exam is tomorrow, and this is the first time I’ve seen this channel. 😭😭
Ultimate Life saver.
Gotta watch these videos properly for paper 2 and 3
Looking like a 5:00am start tomorrow 💀💀💀

this TOPIC has been haunting me and I've been avoiding it since I struggle with it so badly... THANK YOU! (good look everyone :))
A lot of people struggle with it a lot, but hopefully this helped out, even a little bit :) good luck for tomorrow!
Last minute squad wya??
THANK YOU THIS IS LITERALLY THE ONLY TOPIC I CAN NOT WRAP MY HEAD AROUND THE GOAT OF AQA CHEMISTRY VIDEOS
haha thanks :) good luck for tomorrow!!
Came in clutch I'm revising this rn
Absolute saviour. I’m so disappointed I didn’t find your channel earlier in the year. Keep up!
This is such a good video, unfortunate that ur channel only popped up on my recommended the night before the exam but oh well
Same bro if I had this guy’s videos during the months of my revision I’d be op at chem
Fr this guys goated, I found him to late tho
'op at chem' never thought I'd hear that in a sentence lol. good luck for tomorrow!
thnx man, hopefully u find some of my other vids useful for paper 2. Good luck for tomorrow :)
@@faizananwar571same!
ur the love of my life thank you
easy way to remember cell notation is ROOR R= reduced O= oxidised
thanks :) gl
in terms of remembering like what oxidation and reduction are and what oxidising and reducing agents do, remember OILRIG- oxidation is loss (of electrons) reduction is gain
Really good video, explains everything so easily💪
Thank you so much. Needed this a few hours before my exam at 9am!
Chemistry exam is tmrw😭 I’m watching your videos last minute, if you have anymore you can upload by today please do, they really help tremendously.
You planning on doing an all nighter? 😂
good luck man! I don't have anymore to upload sorry, the longer ones take like 18+ hours start to finish
@@rosegold2072 i am lmfao
@@pinkprincesscastle I tried that with my math exam and lets say it's probably better for you to get some sleep, though while saying this I was supposed to be asleep a few hours ago, guess i didn't learn my lesson 😂
@rosegold2072 ahahah valid, id only get around 4 hours of sleep tho ngl & since its a morning exam i dont mind too much, im just gonna pass out right after 😂😂
Thank you, this really helped me to understand this topic well. Much appreciated.
no worries, happy to help :)
I wish I'd found your channel earlier! Only discovered it in the last week but it's helped a lot. Keep up the good work!
thnx! I'm glad it's helped you out man :)

I'm really pleased it helped u understand it better 😊 good luck tomorrow!!!
Could you make a video on topics we should focus on for an A/A* for paper 2?
where do i learn fuel cells
Thanks for this! Will you be uploading the fuel cell bit of this topic in a seperate video? Thanks
yep :)
tysm for this, i am so scared for tomorrow i hope the questions are nice, and not like the ones from 2019 otherwise i can kiss my uni place goodbye lmaoo
LEGEND!
good luck tmrw g😂
u have gained yourself a subscriber
thnx
Hi I understand your videos very well and thank you very much for your time!! Are there videos you recommend watching to be better with redux and oxidation?
You're welcome, I'm glad they helped u understand :) I I have not made any videos on redux and oxidation yet and I am not sure of any specific videos on youtube, sorry. Try your best to search and see what you find :) good luck!
The alevel chemistry students are gonna start flooding back soon
hahaha you know it, 1 day before paper 1
everyone wishing they watched this before taking the chem paper today. this came up for 2 whole questions of the paper... (everyone is me)
hahaha I loved the 'everyone is me' at the end
thank you so much my exam is tomorrow
no worries, good luck!!!
Thank you so much for all the efforts 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Can this video be used for the OCR A spec as I find your videos very useful?
Yeah should be bro, but just double check that section in the OCR A spec to see if anything is missing/not required
hi sir, can you videos on aromatic chemistry, amines and proteins (DNA)?? . Videos have been very helpful.I think i did a pretty good job on paper 1
I'm glad they helped you out with paper 1 :) I may not have time to make the 'everything you need to know' style videos this week, but I have some aromatic chemistry and amino acids past paper question walkthroughs on my channel, hopefully they're useful
I love you
hahaha thnx
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
hello sir, would you do a topic focus video for AQA a level chemistry / Biology paper 2 like how you did for paper 1 chemistry last week?
I don't have time for bio papers atm sorry, but I posted chem paper 2 yesterday :)
1:24:37 would you have to mention that both the NO3- and H+ can oxidise Cu and not just the NO3-? i did see something like that in a markscheme
I don't think so, this question came from paper 3 2020, question 6.4, and they only mention the NO3- ion in the mark scheme (in the second column)
1:25:00 the last equation was the product meant to be NO3 ?
no because it says the product formed was NO, which is a nitrogen oxide seen in the table; NO3 is nitrate and has 3 oxygens bonded to a nitrogen and NO^3- is one nitrogen bonded w one oxygen w an overall 3- charge
hi sir, at 41:41 you seperated the H2 gas and pt electrode with a line but i thought the line only applied to a change in phase whereas both pt and H2 are in the gas phase so shouldnt they be seperated by a comma ? many thanks
Hey, why would platinum be a gas? Unless I missed something
@@easymodeexams33 oh my bad i thought it was i forgot it was a solid. srry about that
@@Dream_Sc4pe No worries at all :) Good luck!
God bless ❤
good luck tomorrow! 😊
@@easymodeexams33 thank you 🙏
Bro came in, saved my life, left to save some more.
😂😂
25:15 why did you write CuSO4 in the diagram but Cu2+ in the cell notation ?? :)
Because if you slipt the ions in CuSO4, you will get Cu2+ and (SO4)2-. Let me know if that makes sense
CuSO4 would be the full reagent, in case you need to name it in the exam, but the ion we are concerned with is the Cu2+ only (same for Zn2+ and other metals), we pretty much don't care about the SO42-
Please can you drop the “focus on” topics for paper 2
done :)
Bro your channel is great can i use this to learn the topic from scratch, my teacher is bad
same 😂he's the reason why my class still are bad at year 1 topics
thnx bro :) yh u can use to learn from scratch, just make sure u understand year 1 redox first
Leaving this super late bro lmao
lol i know, soz it's so last minute, I made it cuz I got lots of requests for it but it just took so long to make and edit together, and then over 6 hours to render 😅 I hope u find it helpful anyways
@@easymodeexams33naaa but, better late than never
@@easymodeexams33 still usefull man frfr i aced that test and alot of it was electrochemical cells so thanks
no worries :)
what about fuel cells?
I mentioned at the start of the video that it won't include the electrochemistry fuel cell/rechargable/non-rechargeable cell section of the AQA spec. This video was already long enough and I didn't have the time, sorry. Good luck for tomorrow! :)
"redox on steroids" 💀
