    That interview is soooo outdated now. But that is just the speed at which SpaceX develops.

    I'm ok with Artemis being delayed some number of years if it means that we get a revolutionary new capacity for space exploration and development. Starship isn't just a new rocket system, it's a fundamental shift in how we interact with space.
    At the moment Starship isn't even the thing holding Artemis up. Orion's heatshield had huge holes blasted into it on Artemis I and NASA will need to design, implement, and test a replacement heatshield with another SLS rocket before humans can fly on it (or skip the unmanned testing if they're feeling adventurous). If you know anything about the Artemis schedule and the availability of SLS flights, it's clear this is a huge huge problem which might give SpaceX time to catch up with Starship development.
    Also there's no telling what might happen in 2025 with Artemis. Some major changes in plans have been rumored. Whatever happens I hope it's good for humanity and our exploration of space. We might be looking at Mars in under a decade and it's not an exaggeration this time.
