Thank you so much for this video and all you do. It is 100% true that a lot of my anxiety and mental health problems come from pushing everything down and not allowing myself to publicly display, sadness or anger. Eventually, those emotions will find a way out of you, whether it's through a mental breakdown or through a panic attack.

Learning to be flexible and letting go of perfectionism have been very helpful in my journey. I have always been afraid to be more expressive and show my true emotions and true self. Both of my sons have muscular dystrophy and I watched them deteriorate and I rarely let myself cry and grieve. My oldest son passed away and I became a people pleaser at my job which led to a chronic illness and health anxiety. Expressing and dealing with difficult emotions has helped my body to heal. Dennis I missed this type of energy in your videos. It’s more uplifting and positive.
My moment of clarity was when you say that our inner child has the inner dialogue of what can go wrong.
I know that is what I am still struggling with. The future of not being able to make it on my flight to Italy from San Diego. Or getting there and feeling sick and not being able to get back home or the jet lag that I have never experienced. You see? That is a something that runs through my head but I am having a challenging time with these thoughts.
I have to say though I’ve made all my trips so far with your help when I’m on the plane. My farthest trip is San Diego to New York . Next trip in October is Hawaii… and after is Italy but I feel afraid Dennis. Afraid of failing and letting my husband down. I feel so much pressure that after 10 years I finally am doing the work but am I doing it at my pace or my husband… or is the fear of my inner child wanting to stop me.
    These are the thoughts.
    Thank you Dennis ❤️

Your videos are very helpful. It is hard to go into a pattern of helping myself feel better. My stomach would hurt, and I would get frantic thinking that I’m going to puke. Sometimes I would question the food to see if it’s good for me to eat, or want medicine to help me calm my stomach. It’s hard to start a journey when I’m impatient, scared of my thought patterns, and I just don’t believe it will help. I’ve also been trying to search for happiness the quick way because I would get hard on myself a lot and i would expect things to go well. I start, and I fall, you know?

Dennis, you have so much content that is helpful. I am realizing that there may be too much to focus on, so now, I am going back to F coping and then taking one of your videos or podcasts and making that a primary focus for a while. Thank you so much. You have done the work as an anxiety sufferer. You have taken all of your mentors and put it in your program. I feel that your program alone is enough. Yes, I still may listen to other podcasts like from Louise Hay, or the stoic, or my new favorite, GNM, but it really comes down to the f-coping book.❤❤

It's about focus, and energy. It can either be turned inwards in a positive or negative way, or outwards in a positive or negative way. As time goes on these turn into automated patterns, and in the end these patterns are what strengthens where our focus is held.

Thank you Denis, your videos have always been an escape path for me each time am faced with all the anxiety symptoms you can imagine, feeling of indpending doom, tension , insomnia, memory lost, depersonalization, feeling of unreality.
A question Denis, how long does it really takes to have total control of my body, how long does it takes to heal totally? Cos i will go a month or two without feeling anxiety but finally it pops one day out of no where, and i usually forget i have been there before, it may take a day or two before i can recall and recognize symptoms that pops up.

Healing depend on the individual, some nervous systems are more dysregulated than others. Often though through the first stage of healing (the video how to control your mind) people find progress with 4-6 weeks, and from here it’s about providing direct safety messages through to the unconscious effectively and regularly.

Hey, I'm a little bit confused, about point 7 and 8. You say in 7 that you need to hold you back sometime venting to my loved one about how my day went. But in 8 you say that I need to be selectively vulnerable when I feel like it, but what if we allways feel like it? 😢

Hi :) I have anxiety induced vision problems. Like my vision is shaking when looking at objects , I can’t focus them to stay stable and also my Peripheral vision is weird, like things on the side are also like vibrating. Have you experienced that? Should I go to an eye expert? The normal eye doctor didn’t find anything

This symptom is the worst for me and it feels like no one has that. Like I have difficulties working on a screen and going to stores. But even at home I have that. My intuition tells me it’s from a sensitive nervous system

Hi Dennis, is it normal to have the same couple of really bad symptoms for a really long time? Specifically a headache/head pressure and neck tension/pain pretty much 24/7 and has lasted for a long time (years on and off) since I witnessed a traumatic event. I’ve had tests but I’m afraid something has changed since the last time I got one. They haven’t gone away and it’s so difficult to deal with.

    • @TheAnxietyGuy1
      @TheAnxietyGuy1  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

Dysregulation can bring on and keep alive such symptoms, yes. It's best to approach this journey by healing bit by bit, releasing and surrendering to suppressed feelings little by little, meditating and finding clarity little by little, this will lead to authentic living even in the midst of such anxiety symptoms.

One thing that helps me is the breathing technique where you take 2 breaths in through the nose then a long exhale. The thing with deep breathing is if you inhale longer than you exhale you speed heart rate while exhaling longer actually decreases heart rate
