As someone currently suffering from general anxiety reading your comment makes me feel sooo happy for you. Lately I have been watching Dennis videos and I am seriously considering signing up for his program, I feel excited @ the thought of doing it, but can’t get around to actually doing it, definitely a part of the anxiety, every time I tell myself to do it, I get overwhelmed and feel like I don’t know how to 😭
I noticed that too! I used to think if I could just think through/worry about something, I could solve it. It wasn’t a productive process. I still do it and am trying to find actual solutions/actions. I feel this is a step in the right direction. 😊
It is common to feel that, just bear in mind it’s just a belief system of our upbringing, we need to replace it with action to what is within our control, and let go to what is not
This video hit at a good time !! So thankful ! I’ve been struggling with anxiety/ health anxiety and feeling like I’m going to expire every day! I feel like I’ve been doing everything to get out of this, I’m doing it wrong
@@TheAnxietyGuy1 it does on an intellectual level but not an embodiment level unfortunately. I'm stuck in this really bad habit cycle because it's all I've ever known and done.
Thank you! I was feeling antsy a while ago. I listened to this pod cast and I felt relief. The anxiety sensations slowly left and I feel more relaxed. Thank you!
This morning, your words & energy feel exceptionally soothing Dennis. I almost always seem to absorb your videos easiest in the morning, inspite of feeling much angst & all over the place. 💛🙏
Thank you Dennis! You have helped me immensely on my healing journey, I am so proud of the person I am becoming. I am grateful for you and all that you do. God bless
This is so helpful, especially the 30 second pause and just knowing that living in a constant state of worry and anxiety is not normal or healthy. Thank you 🙏 😊
I thank you so much for your help and advice. I truly need help right now with this. My physical health and mental health need attention 😢. I want to be the next success story. I want to be saved.
At the end of the day you are helping so many… like me I will forever be grateful… And one day our paths will cross, and don’t judge me… but I’ll probably ask you to sign a tennis ball for me… Take care, you have found a purpose filled life
I been struggling with shortness of breath for the past 3/4 months. Goes on for hours at a time, honestly can’t wait for this to pass, it’s such a hard symptom to ignore.
This is how mine started in 2020, I felt as though I could not get a full breath, it's really worrying, and I know what you are feeling, mine lasted about a month, I did research on the internet about what causes it, because nobody including doctor's could tell me, it's caused by hyperventilating, and despite feeling breathless, it's the opposite, you are breathing, but your body does not need it
@@glenmason1876 Yh I agree, I can tell it’s my anxiety cos when I get into a long conversation with someone it tends to ease right off. So hard though even though you know what it is, it’s still a struggle. Thanks for the comment
Where does love and trust in your body come in the picture? I feel like I unconsciously stoped loving myself as a result of anxiety, and love meditations sort of make me very emotional and I feel like I don't have to worry about my symptoms anymore.
Worry is like an addiction. It can be quite hard to stop worrying when your whole body says the opposite of that. It creates a cycle that just takes time to get out from. So I agree that we can change how we respond to stress and worry in this now moment, but that will not prevent those anxiety related symptons to happen again in the next minute or so. That must be said. There is no instant relief from anxiety that will last forever, it's a long term commitment to the thruth that you are safe and those symptons are just mind body things that will not harm you, then you will be able to get out of the vicious cycles, even if those happen again (and they will for sure).
Do you have anything on depression too please, i have both anxiety and depression, im not sure which one came first as ive hsd it 28 yrs, but i know when my anxiety is high and panic attacks daily along with stress, i burnout into a bad depression. Do you have any tips on depression and the negative thoughts. Thank you
Oh wow. I’ve been putting the thoughts on pause in the morning when I get up to pee. I think it’s from doing so many of your surrender sessions and it getting into my subconscious. Tricky. Thank you for spelling out this technique so well in this video. Very concise.
I've been going through depression and anxiety and insomnia. The insomnia is bad! I feel my body jumpy and irritable. I try so hard to stay calm and relax my body but can't... Any tips for insomnia?
I think I have as well. I never tested positive but a friend came to visit and got me sick last year. I don’t know what the solution is yet. I try to stay calm and rested and relaxed and have healthy routines and diet.
The antidote to anxiety is not calm, I read in a quote, it’s safety, so the narrative to our brain should be first to ask, is this perceived danger real or fabricated in my mind ?? Of course there are real dangers, but there are many more fabricated or magnified by our minds….hence the importance to create internal awareness of REAL safety rather than just be told or say I must be calm ! What do you think ?
Hey my friend do you think meditation would help me manage my anxiety and DPDR symptoms? Thank you for your videos they're awesome I really appreciate what you do!!! 😎
Surrender sessions will give you the clarity needed to see beyond your immediate reactions to what currently threatens you, like anxiety symptoms yes. Start here: th-cam.com/video/6arfMc9Aj4k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9hn6scMFYr-ftZXz
My symptoms seem involuntary, automatic, instant reaction to any stressor. It could be anything from escalators to making a sandwich, or freaking out over a friend’s wellbeing.

How did u overcome the social intense anxiety ?
Its consuming me
I'm recently learning to be mindful of the anger part. An anxious mind easily causes 1 to forget who they are at the core in my experience.
How true, thank you for this insight.

Yes that's true, mine was that bad I ended up going to the hospital, they ran every cheak possible, it all came back normal
You guys might want to try buteyko breathing if you think you're hyperventilating.
Explain buteyko please.

How do you empty your stress bucket
i think the fact that i'm stressing about how dirty that window frame in the back is and that i want to clean it says a lot...
😅 I’ll definitely look into it then

Not everything passes. What if people get an illness that might not change?
Illnesses always change though, for better or for worse and either path is respected.
