The state of Tennessee does not allow Sheds to be Living Spaces. The State and local Codes I just checked, will not approve this. If those sheds are out of the ordinary, and you have verification Tennessee will allow those Sheds appropriate as a living Space, please tell us about it.

It just occured to me that if you add a cottage to the Cottage, thru the laundry space, you could have a small table down near the window, a bigger fridge under the mini-split, and use the space under the water heater for an appliance garage and pantry! 😍
Or… make a much bigger shower with it extending into the add a cottage & letting that be a dividing space in the add a cottage which id have an extra bedroom in the back & living room in fromt of add acottage…
We love the incred-a-cottage. Hubby and I have it all planned out with an add-a-cottage as the bedroom. I want the bay window in my living room. I want a swing for the porch. The colors would be sage with cream trim and shutters. Can't wait till he retires and we are off to Tenn.!
I love this house! Why don't you move the window over the sink and turn the toilet around to face the door? You might have more leg room and more space between the toilet and the sink.
He's explained several times that if you turn the toilet facing the door, there isn't enough room to get into the bathroom, and you can't close the door when you sit on the toilet. That's why he moved the sink over, closer to the shower, to give more leg room for the toilet as it is.
@@susanbeals7597 This is why they need to try a corner toilet in there. Then the sink can stay, and you won't feel crowded against the wall on the right. A cute corner cabinet over it would be super cottage-y.

I love this little tiny cottage! At the wall opposite the counter I would place a small dining table with 2-4 chairs. And I would make a living room in the back, with a sofa bed at the wall opposite the bathroom, small coffee table and TV, some cushions in the bay window so you can have guests..... This what I would retire in: just sit on the porch at night in a rocking chair, my dog laying at my feet, just looking over the prairie where horses are grazing.......
I totally agree, and was smiling when Amanda said it is the kind of cottage we girls dreamed of from the time we were old enough to dream. Man caves are popular in the design world, but these cottages are the woman's version - the Woman's cave/ cottage. No doubt any man would love it too, as it provides such a cozy home, and can be made masculine in decor too. Really cute and really functional. Well done!

I love this cute little cottage and I was looking forward to trying to reserve a spot at Buffalo Creek but then it was full so I was going to go for the mountain and now I'm told that's full too have you really sold or leased all of the properties on the mountain and Buffalo Creek? we drove out there from Arkansas Labor Day weekend and met with one person and got some information sent to us via email but it was for Buffalo Creek so I called to correct it and they tell me it's all full everything's full no more spots.

the outside is really cute but I don't care for the inside ...I dont like the fact you have to face the furniture to the kitchen ...and the door opening to the inside makes it more cramped
I'd have 2 highback chairs facing each other & a small table between them in that front space, and use a daybed & a chair next to it in the bedroom/living room with a TV mounted on the wall next to the small window. The back room would be a sitting room by day, bedroom by night, with a spot for coffee or lunch with a friend in the front room.

The room is not wide enough to accommodate it. There would be less knee room than there is now, and can you imagine squeezing past (or leaping over!) it into the shower? My suggestion was a corner toilet.
If you turn the toilet to face out towards the hall, there won’t be enough room to squeeze between it and the corner of the door. It would be very hard to get to your sink and shower.
With a 10x10 front porch on both cottage and add a cottage gives you the covered outdoor living space for furniture and grill & hot tub on add i cottage side!!!! Love rhe idea large living room andcraft rm & washer & dryer on other side deviding living room &: craft/office room area!!! If you made the washer/dryer closet a pass through than you would lose the bedroom privacy. I suggest turning the original cottage into a kitchen, bathroom, and living room where the bedroom is. And the second one, two bedrooms and a bathroom. But saying that wouldn’t you lose the washer dryer in the second cottage too?

I don't know if you have changed up the spot where you put the bathroom sink, or if you've gone with maybe a pedestal sink, but I thought it might be an idea to put the sink inside the shower. Just a small one to wash your hands. Or maybe have a "floating" sink with a medicine type cabinet over it.

@@dyslexicangel - Online. Search for the Loch Capsule dishwasher. It even has a dry sanitize cycle that uses UVC light to sanitize whatever you put in it. It can be hooked up to plumbing, or comes with a water tank and drain hose. If you want it to drain into a 2nd tank, they sell that, too, as an extra, so it can be set up anywhere in your home that has an electric outlet.
Randy, Amanda...? Can you show us an Increda-cottage, with the additional add-a-cottage attachment all decored please...? Including where the trash can would go? How about a sink basin over top the toilet and folding staircases, in the homes that require stairs?
This is the concept model, and they're still working out the kinks. And since the factory is busy with the RJOs, they won't be making anything else in there until those are done.
OMG! Look back through the posts - I suggested putting the doorway to the Add-i-Cottage where the washer/dryer is when you first introduced it! Great minds think alike! I also suggested that if you only want to use the bedroom in the Incred-i-Cottage as a living room and 1 bedroom in the Add-i-Cottage, you could do away with the bathroom in the Incred-i-Cottage. You would have an open siteline all the way to the back of the Incred-i-Cottage and a huge living room with a little dining room table. The Add-i-Cottage is bedroom, bathroom, washer/dryer, a closet, and room for storage. I can't afford all that myself, but I WILL be buying an Incred-i-Cottage when I retire!
Yeah I said take the entire side of the cottage wall out and connect the second cottage like putting together a double wide. Put the dining/living room, laundry, and bathroom in the add on and extra closet space. Then you could actually make the bathroom larger. Without the add a cottage, I would probably pull out that shower, and tile the whole bathroom like a wet bath in an RV.
@@MyGirlKenzie No, the add a cottage does not have all the same stuff in it. It is an add on for you to create your ideas and what you would do with the space. I haven't watched that much on the add a cottage, but I think it's half the cost of the cottage.

In the cottage why nit switch the plavement of the bathroom sink and toilet no worry with knee placement and its prettier to walk past and see a sink instead of a toilet.

Keep on keeping on, I am so proud to own a tiny home that has been made by ITH’s, I still have to pick mine up. That may be a while because I am a full time caregiver for my father who is a WWII veteran he served in the Navy working on instruments on PBY Catalina Airplanes. I am so blessed to have my father still with me as he just turned 103 years young, he is such a great man to be around too. His friends just love to visit with him when they can. So I do not know when I will be able to visit or bring my tiny home home to California or to Baja California, Mexico. 🌞🌴🩷
Look at Manda sitting on the toilet, and then she turned a bit sideways. You could do that with the toilet also. Turn it diagonal a bit so your legs aren't hitting the sink.
Two things…why not turn the bathroom toilet 90 degrees? Would that fit much better? It looks like it. Also, is is possible to move the kitchen to where the bedroom is and then open the whole area to have a nice living room space with a wonderful Murphy bed? Plenty of space in either space then to have a a desk or wall length shelf that you could put a desk in and work from home even.

Why don’t you try the sinks on the top of the toilet tank. They are very popular in Europe and Japan. Economical and space saving.

No. The plumbing for it would be on the far wall, opposite where the laundry is now (straight ahead as you enter the add-a- cottage).

I found a great compact dishwasher that's 18" tall x 20" deep x 10" wide and can go on the counter or under one side of the sink.

@@dyslexicangel - Online. Search for the Loch Capsule dishwasher. It even has a dry sanitize cycle that uses UVC light to sanitize whatever you put in it. It can be hooked up to plumbing, or comes with a water tank and drain hose. If you want it to drain into a 2nd tank, they sell that, too, as an extra, so it can be set up anywhere in your home that has an electric outlet.

This is the concept model, and they're still working out the kinks. And since the factory is busy with the RJOs, they won't be making anything else in there until those are done.

OMG! Look back through the posts - I suggested putting the doorway to the Add-i-Cottage where the washer/dryer is when you first introduced it! Great minds think alike! I also suggested that if you only want to use the bedroom in the Incred-i-Cottage as a living room and 1 bedroom in the Add-i-Cottage, you could do away with the bathroom in the Incred-i-Cottage. You would have an open siteline all the way to the back of the Incred-i-Cottage and a huge living room with a little dining room table. The Add-i-Cottage is bedroom, bathroom, washer/dryer, a closet, and room for storage. I can't afford all that myself, but I WILL be buying an Incred-i-Cottage when I retire!
Yeah I said take the entire side of the cottage wall out and connect the second cottage like putting together a double wide. Put the dining/living room, laundry, and bathroom in the add on and extra closet space. Then you could actually make the bathroom larger.
Without the add a cottage, I would probably pull out that shower, and tile the whole bathroom like a wet bath in an RV.
@@MyGirlKenzie No, the add a cottage does not have all the same stuff in it. It is an add on for you to create your ideas and what you would do with the space. I haven't watched that much on the add a cottage, but I think it's half the cost of the cottage.

In the cottage why nit switch the plavement of the bathroom sink and toilet no worry with knee placement and its prettier to walk past and see a sink instead of a toilet.

Keep on keeping on, I am so proud to own a tiny home that has been made by ITH’s, I still have to pick mine up. That may be a while because I am a full time caregiver for my father who is a WWII veteran he served in the Navy working on instruments on PBY Catalina Airplanes. I am so blessed to have my father still with me as he just turned 103 years young, he is such a great man to be around too. His friends just love to visit with him when they can. So I do not know when I will be able to visit or bring my tiny home home to California or to Baja California, Mexico. 🌞🌴🩷

Look at Manda sitting on the toilet, and then she turned a bit sideways. You could do that with the toilet also. Turn it diagonal a bit so your legs aren't hitting the sink.

Two things…why not turn the bathroom toilet 90 degrees? Would that fit much better? It looks like it. Also, is is possible to move the kitchen to where the bedroom is and then open the whole area to have a nice living room space with a wonderful Murphy bed? Plenty of space in either space then to have a a desk or wall length shelf that you could put a desk in and work from home even.
