And if they're caught stealing even just piece of bread because they're dying of hunger, they are transported to camps where they're forced to work until they die because they overwork themselves. Government gets rid of all their stuff and pretend like they never existed. And the family's house buys someone else and live "happy" life without having clue. I did the 4 day tour of North Korea, super interesting. I went with a Chinese tour group so it was a bit different than the western tours. Seems like they add more propaganda stuff but since chinas already their closest buddy they just show you around. Of course they still only show you the good stuff though. I live in Seoul now, interesting to experience how drastically different the two koreas are
