i hope one day i can visit north korea. My friend from france went there in 2009 and he told me he was able to go hiking at some of the most beautiful mountains and even go swimming with locals. I pray north korea is chill in the future because id love to visit

I already know that there is a travel ban to countries like Yemen and Libya but cant find information anywhere regarding DPRK

😂 There is literally a North Korean embassy in Greater Kailash, Delhi. You may apply for visa from there as well or from Beijing, as you wish.
Indian Govt will never put any restriction on anybody travelling to any country except in a situation like war or COVID pandemic situation !! India is one of the few countries which has good relations with North & South Korea.

I went there in 2005, from Dalian. I don't agree with our commentator that there is a lot of myth about DPRK ... it is a managed tour for for outsiders. and u will go only where they let u or want u to go....they listen to u, they watch u.

1:19 that's not a myth, smh. They are out of their country with the permission from the govt (you might think that's how it works right? No!). Before people from N. Korea weren't allowed to go to any other country, but then when their economy worsened and job opportunities were rare, they started a program which sent some of it's citizen (based off of family history and other things) to few other countries (mostly china) to earn money and send it back to Korea. It's not that they are free, they can't escape and live in other countries, they need to return, else their families are put in concentration camps.
Tell the full story, do comprehensive research before "clearing myths". If N.Koreans were allowed to leave their country, everybody would've ran to south korea (since south korea treats the entire korean peninsula as its own territory and hence issues citizenship to those who have run away from the north). Moreover foreign tourists can't go to most places in north-korean. You mostly visit their showcase capital Pyongyang and a couple other places (sometimes with permission) that's it.

It's a western propaganda!!.. Even i have visited NK and people seems happy with their government... May be some people might not happy, but that is the case almost with all governments.
@@swapnilkadam7957 I don't want to force you to believe something but I would encourage you to watch the interviews that Asian Boss (an independent company) has taken of North Korean refugees and I do believe that the suffering in their eyes and SO MANY of similar stories and sorrows can't be a lie. Even we have problems bw india and pak but both the countries have right to use internet and know about the world but the entire education system and belief system of NK is just so isolated. Off course they won't take you to the areas where people, little kids are starving to death. It's not the government that's talking against it, it's the people, the government shook hands with this dictator, it's the people who taught in NK, who were held captive for trying to find out about it, people who saw their family die, I do believe in humanity enough to trust their struggle and their sorrows. I am not saying that there isn't a possibility that it's a lie but if ALL THE PEOPLE who die seeking refugee, sell their bodies, and gather courage to speak up are lying then the humanity doesn't deserve kindness.
But I strongly believe in North Korean refugees and you can at least try to see and decide for yourself, no pressure.
Because if we ignore such pain and violence because of prejudice and hatred, humanity will seize to exist and all their struggle would mean nothing..

Sir actually many youtubers who have visited North Korea and people who had escaped North Korea say that locals there aren't allowed to talk to the foreigners. Locals who are seen talking are actually paid actors and actresses whose work is to make a positive image about North Korea in foreigners' mind.
