@@manasdoulani6352 For the first week or so it was just making it through one day. Now after an update and I think learning my usage it's improved greatly. After a day of use I usually have 25-35% battery left at the end of the day.

dude, how did you use pixel 7 and 7 pro via 5g in Korea? Did you patch on Pixel? Actully, lots of Korean(include me) can't use it via 5g so woder how you could do it.
Google Pixel 7 aside, I miss Seoul. The video footage reminded me of my most favorite place in the world!

Love my pixel 7 snow white. Only thing I wish I had was the camera from the pro as the reviewer said, and that hazel color. I hate extra large phones so I normally get the regular version of a device. I do believe it's time for Android manufacturers to follow apple's lead and stop leaving features out on the small devices from the larger ones. Pixel has an "A" model to make cuts too. Give me the full version on the smaller size where I'm only choosing size, not choosing size and losing features 🤦♂️
What about the front camera? I just got mine and I can't believe how much bad It is

Very nice review. I've been using a Google Pixel 6 for all my videos. On the whole I'm very pleased. Haven't tried the Pixel 7 yet, but I expect the video quality is very similar.
My only complaint and one bug I would like them to fix - when filming shop windows that are lit during the day, you get some flickering from the lights.

Great video mate - im due an upgrade from my huawei p30 pro but im torn between the p6pro vs pixel 7 🤔 the p6p is on a great deal atm and a little cheaper monthly atm in the UK but then it is a year older.

I was always a fan of Apple, and right now, I'm still using iPhone 7 and other Apple products. After Apple started changing their own marketing by using the name of helping the environment and gaining their profits, and due to their slightly-updated improvement in phones from year to year, I'm losing interest in this company. Google, on the other hand, is the game changer, and they're quite a king of software. I'm thinking of changing to the Google ecosystem. Until my iPhone 7 go phut, I will upgrade to a Google Pixel phone.

From my experience, the elevator and cable car going up is usually not too bad(you do have to wait a decent time even on normal days though).
As for the phone, I really hope Google releases the Pixel here in Korea...We need more Android competition here......

@theunlockr I wanted to buy the pixel 7 to film Korea next month (before fedex bloomington stole it out of the box). Did you just hold the phone with your hand? Did you use a stick? Did you have enough space in memory?
Hey look they give him coffee even as far away as in Korea ! Love the aluminum bar for camera in those Pixels, they are so distinctive !
The blur on the photos separates very nicely and stabilisation seems to work miracles. Both Pixel 6 and 7 seem to catch less details in shadowplay than Samsung on photos unfortunately.

I have an observation. Why was most of the video footage shot on Pixel 7 hazy? Was the harsh sunlight a cause or it has something to do with the sensor/processing
As an average pixel 7 user to me the pics & vids all look the same on any smartphone device 😂
Already made my decision. I went with the pixel 7 amateur. $599 was too good of a value to pass up and I prefer flat screens.

Display is painfully dim in standard manual brightness ( the one you adjust yourself with the slider ) auto peak brightness is very good
I often sees your VDO and using 6 pro as well, honestly it's just the design and processor. Pixel 7 is good but honestly not worth switching from 6pro. I envy the way you talk and travel, do love it all the way. Do visit us sometime at Bangladesh. Cases are not nice. Without that logo, maybe. Clear calling feature makes the other person sound clearer to you not the other way around. It's a neat AI trick.

Is tensor 5nm or 4. I hear both in reviews but when I look it up it says 5nm. Does the size matter? If so why is everybody getting it wrong?
OK so the battery is pretty bad? for a phone in 2023 I am seeing you at 10% left at 12:20 in the video and the screen on time in the far right screen is just under 4 hours? That is not good in my opinion. A decent modern phone should be getting at least 5-6 hours I feel these days.
Really not bad for a midrange phone.

Still shots look great on the Pixel series but I'm not really inspired by the video quality. Kinda looks murky and blurred. I guess as a grab and go system or for B roll shots it'd be ok but still I was hoping it'd be a bit more inspiring on the 7 series.
A phone with a telephoto 5x and a super wide make more sense than a Super wide and medium wide cam. The two lenses I use on my phone are always super wide and tele and rarely the mid lens.
This review is on another level. This is the way a review should be. Now we can see the real life performance of the phone.Bdw Pixel is better than iphone in many ways , especially in camera.
Go to South Korea on samsung's time but do a review on the pixel 7. 😂

Do phones still make calls? I never see a reviewer mention anything about call quality. I've read that it's connectivity isn't the best. I would love to hear an observation about that from a well-respected reviewer as yourself. Well done otherwise.

I love the colour accuracy of the pixel, but I don't like how even the main camera looks slightly wide-angle due (I think) to the wider field of vision. Is there a way to fix it?
I ordered the phone on the release day.. battery was really poor on the few following days, after that it has been good, not really good but it holds a day easily. Camera, refresh rate and storage i don't care much as battery for me. Stock android is good, it has bugs here and there but future updates should fix them. Till today I'm happy and i don't consider a cheap phone unless you want to spend 1000+ on a phone that does similar tasks.

7 Pixel is simply the best phone for me. I've been going for more than 2 months and I can't stop admiring the capabilities of the camera. I bought it today, and I found the frontal camera so bad... 😩 I was so excited at the beginning, but I couldn't believe that the frontal camera was worse than some cheaper phone. (The frontal camera of a Xiaomi that I bought in 2019 for 300 euros was much better)

Ex Gpixel 6 pro user , the thing i hate is when phone getting hot, it can't charge. Have been frequently update software but nothing changed. Already sold the phone then change to Oppo Find X5 Pro
coming from a samsung i miss having the back button on the right and recent apps on the left. I wish google pixel can add that feature. You can still enable 3 button navigation on the pixel 7 but you can't change the order of the buttons. But i am getting used to it and still prefer the beautiful theme of stock android vs outdated oneui of the samsung. But for $499 on sale you can 't beat it considering a galaxy s22 is atleast $200 more if it's on sale.

This is a great phone for me since it is small compared to other phones.
For any iphone 11 ( or above ) users if you plan on switching to pixel 7 I say this to avoid you a big disappointment: DON'T !!
As an old pixel fan that switched to iphone 3 years ago, getting to pixel 7 few days ago was a serious downgrade, most of the reviews are misleading.. the main camera photos are great and that's it! The other camera are way less consistent, videos are good too but iphone's are supiror, the CPU is not as powerful because I see frequent small animation lag 🤦♂️, the fingerprint is just awful and don't work 90% of the time if you have dry or cold hands ( iphone's faceid is tremendously better to unlock your phone) , those pixel camera features everyone is talking are not as great and to sum it up the android version of any app is somehow still less robust and tuned especially the social media ones..
if you're an android user you'll probably like the pixel even if I think there are much better choice for less price
if you're an ios user just don't buy it you'll get disappointed if you do like I did !!

@Wildan Cameo a pixel 7 is definitely an upgrade from a pixel 4 xl "if" you want to stick with the pixel brand IMO. I used to be a pixel fan myself: I had pixel 1 then 2xl then 3xl then I stopped because I just starting hating paying for an (ugly) expensive device and getting so little in return ( hardware and software ), yes the stock android is great and the photos from the main camera are excellent but that's it .. anyway that's just me.
Now if you never tried an iphone I highly recommend you do with something like an iphone 11 or higher, I spent like 8 years being an android enthusiast until I gave ios a chance and when I did I made the switch with my iphone xr at the time being way happier than what I was with android.
to answer your question about iphone 13 pro compared to pixel 7, I don't think there is anything to compare .. iphone 13 p is WAY better in every aspect but hey this s just my opinion 🙂

Look, i've tested the 2x zoom on the pixel 7 and pitted it against my pixel 5 2x zoom, and with the weird processing on the pixel 7 its BARELY noticeable in difference. The pixel 5 in some cases resolved more details. I feel like the processing can be wildly improved. They boasted in their presentation about how much better the 2x sensor crop would look but its not different really at all. The raw images even show hardly any difference.
