Now that the 9 is out, I upgraded my 7 to an 8 for next to nothing (CDN $5/month over a 2 year agreement, so $120 total, although in my case they actually also gave me a better plan when I upgraded that was $4 cheaper, so effectively I'm only paying a dollar a month, or 24 dollars total for a phone that was close to $1000 when it came out a year ago). Not a mind blowing difference, but definitely the wider wide angle lens, slightly better screen, and better low light performance (those flares!) is more than worth the upgrade at that price. Plus I have the 7 still as a backup/extra phone for keeping around the house or whatever, and it's still a very solid phone. Great video, and really good comparison of the cameras and processing ability of each of those phones. Cheers!
Google needs to work a lot on their video HDR noise. The HDR is almost non-existent in low-light and the noise is way too high. Also, the portrait edge detection is kinda poor tbh.
I think the Pixel 7 is better in lowlight video. Pixel 8 is better in lowlight pictures. Daytime pics and vids are the same. I'm keeping my Pixel 7. Thanks for the review
Pixel 8 is a little better than 7, but no need to upgrade,,, i have pixel 4 and pixel 7, but my pixel 7 its slightly better frm p4 too, but when it comes to video its a diferent story..😂.. thnx for your video... God bless you bro... Kept it up, im 1 here to suport you..
hmmmm... my guess is : The post processing and software is what is making the difference between these two devices since the hardware is nearly identical
Hi, you might clean the optical glass on pixel 7 before compare. There is a lot of flare and fog in pictures. Anyway the front camera pixel 7 isn't very good.
That's what I was thinking too, the lens of the 7 simply looks like an older lens to me. Older meaning used and as it is the norm, also unprotected... every uncapped lens is loaded with micro-scratches you can't see with the naked eye but they certainly show up in the image with flares and haze like we see in this video. I'm guessing the 7 isn't brand new and not quite an apples to apples comparison.
I just buy pixel 7 from Flipkart at 28k phone to best hy but crying ke big billion me i missed pixel 8 deal in 35k also as i heard pixel 8 low light camera and software are just perfect compare than pixel 7 , can u tell me i found still better deal? As my main requirement is photos with low light
It depends. Pixel 7 has 4k 60fps across all the lenses which I really like it's also feels more premium. It has reverse wireless charging. On the other side pixel 8a has better performance and brighter display. photography very similar
Is the pixel 8 camera really that fried? It takes very faded photos compared to the pixel 7. I was thinking of buying the 8, but the camera disappointed me a lot. And for pixel 9, 9 Pro I am not given 1000 $ Like in a year they will fall in half. 😐
But with the hardware i don't think G3 can handle android update after 2027 In my opinion max to max 3 yr update is good enough but regular security update coz nobody gonna use a device for 7 long years
Pixel 8 seems much better. Thanks for the comparison.
😄🙏

Thanks for sharing this 😊
Your comparisons are excellent, everyone else always miss something like the selfie, or lowlite portrait etc. you don't.
Very true!
I have the Pixel 7 and i love it. Maybe the P8 is a little better but not enough for to upgrade
Totally agree 👍
@@DariuszTech Amen
I was thinking of getting a Pixel 7, but will now wait. Pixel 8 was 90% better with photos
Appreciate these vids brother 👍
Thanks a lot 🙏
This is some rare camera comparison video, very useful. Add few sports photography shots too next time.
Noted!
Thanks for reviewing pixel devices. If you have pixel 6a, can you compare it with pixel 8?
I think the Pixel 7 is better in lowlight video. Pixel 8 is better in lowlight pictures. Daytime pics and vids are the same. I'm keeping my Pixel 7. Thanks for the review

Thank you. I don't understand English well, but I saw everything I needed.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My pleasure 😺
No point to upgrade from pixel 7 to pixel 8!
That's what I'm thinking 🤔

Absolutely
I see all your video.
Very good and informative video.
So nice of you
Both phones pixel 7 and pixel 8 have good camera quality but pixel 8 more stabilization and some advantage on night photography.
Yes. Totally agree about the night photography
Brilliant video, thank you. Would going from a Pixel 6 to a Pixel 8 be a good idea or should I just keep my 6?
If you make video upgrading would be a good choice if pictures stick to pixel 6
@@DariuszTech Thank you.
Out of these both which one produces the most realistic color footage?
Pixel 8
Helpful, useful video.
Glad it was helpful!
i think that it just differs in post processing cause both have the same picture quality.

Both camera lenses were cleaned

pixel 8 is obviously clearer, wider and better in videos.. but i prefer to wait for pixel 9 pro or 10. .. 😁
Fair enough 😂😜
Thank you for the video! In macro photos I can see the 8 is much better…
Front facing camera of my Pixel 7 is definitely shite. I'm glad that P8 upgraded it
Great. Thank you.
You are welcome!

Sound good
@@DariuszTech does pixel 7 low light camera work good in compare to pixel 8 or minor differences?
The real difference was at night, other than that Pixel 7 held up great.
Please help me between Pixel 7 and 8a

Looks similar to me !! What u think
Does the pixel 8 heats while using the camera app?
I didn't experience any overheating
Still waiting for a pixel 8 pro vs s24 ultra 👌🔥
Sadly I don't have any of those phones
Pixel 8 need to improve a update on night photos inside photos and im hearing echos on my pixel 8
Pixel 8 is clearly better.
Thanks for watching and sharing this 🙏
Tnx for your review
Pixel 8 slightly better overall
Thanks for watching
Hello! Can you advise? Is it worth overpaying for pixel 8 or will the average user not notice much of a difference compared to pixel 7?
In my opinion no
@@DariuszTech thanks!
On nights pictures pixel 7 have definitely dirty cameras glass that why you have flare and poor contrast. Next time for the test clear lens.
I always clean the lenses before the each video
@DariuszTech OK but definitely looks for dirty lens.
Pixel 8>7 in my humble opinion.
Bhaiya realme 12 pro plus ki bhi bnao
I don't have this phone I'm afraid
Bhai, unko hindi samaj mai nhi ayega
The only reason to get Pixel 8 is 7 year software support and that is something really matter.
Fair point ☝️

Pixel 8 pro vs vivo x100 pro
Still trying to get the pixel 8 pro
I don't see much difference 😊
There's a bit but not a huge
Pixel 8 👍🏼
Like in advance 👍🏻
Thank you my friend I really appreciate that 🙏
Not too much of a difference
Big jump, especially selfie video
Mam Pixela 7, ale porównanie wygrywa 8 💪
Jest ćut lepszy
@@DariuszTech Chyba trochę więcej niż ciut, przedni aparat i noc dla 8💪
