    Shadows are the most taxing so dropping them to low is still good looking and better fps.

    Devs should just focus on optimization and not the look of the game and in the end the gameplay id what matters

    • @VDA19
      @VDA19 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Devs should focus on both. If Cyberpunk can run great while also achieving great graphics, there's no excuse for such a small scale game to not run at least as well.

    this may sound like a nitpick but i found it funny when a comment complaining "Devs should just focus on optimization and not the look"
    just turn down the setting and you will get exactly what you asked for.

      Based on what I've seen in various videos, the rtx 2060 is hot, it always averages 82° in new games if your model is just 2 fan

    performance is horrible.. 2060 super ryzen 5 5600 x And i Can barealy run this game 40 - 60 fps on Low Medium High with no DLSS.
    I just keep everything LOW and DLSS on best performance so I can run some areas 100 + FPS.
    Lazy Devs. Game is great but otimization is reaaaaaaly Bad.

    Another unreasonably demanding DX12 title, nearly every game running on strictly DX12 runs way worse than you'd expect

    • @BILLYCOCHRANE
      @BILLYCOCHRANE ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Yup, wish there was a toggle for DX11, most of these DX12-only games run like ass. Better yet, allow Vulkan natively.

      @@wolfstorm5394 Cyberpunk 2077 is the only dx12 game I can think of that doesn't suffer from traversal stutter, FPS swings, or microstutter inherent in all the other dx12 games with shoddy performance... but the asset streaming system for that game is hyper optimized for PC. Yea it's still a GPU demanding game but it hardly pushes system temps and even a 2060 gets good FPS without DLSS.

      @@wolfstorm5394 I dunno about that dawg, I played it on launch day and I never had performance issues on a 2060 Super. Some NPC heavy locations weren't great I'll admit but I had a very weak CPU at the time. Upgrading to a faster CPU saw FPS climb by like 40%.
      I had 75+ FPS on a pretty modest system rtx 2060 super + ryzen 5 1600 and that was on Day 1.
      IMO cyberpunk 2077 had better launch day performance at least on PC.
