Seriously, looking at the deck itself, and they you made it...I would make it EXACTLY the same way. I think, for only using the cards in those 3 structure decks, that literally is the best variant one could possibly make.
.-. After so many years, I came here again to re-learn the basics from the man I consider a true master of this game. 0: thank you so much, GG. I really miss you.
I have my main LS and my mess-around LS deck, which I did with just 3 structure decks. DAEDALUS LIGHTSWORN Extra Deck (3): 3 Michael, The Arch-Lightsworn Main Deck (45): Monsters (30): 3 Judgment Dragon 3 Lightray Daedalus 3 Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner 3 Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn 3 Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress 3 Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden (I like 3 to help speed up milling) 2 Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior 2 Wulf, Lightsworn Beast 1 Jain, Lightsworn Paladin 1 Ehren, Lightsworn Monk 1 Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid 1 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter 1 Honest 3 Necro Gardna Spells (9): 1 Charge of the Light Brigade 2 Realm of Light 2 Lightsworn Sanctuary 3 Solar Recharge 1 Foolish Burial Traps (6): 1 Lightsworn Barrier 2 Beckoning Light 3 Breakthrough Skill (Sides into a Celestia Build for certain matchups, especially Evilswarm, as the Celestia build is more of a control build) Side Deck (15): 3 Celestia, Lightsworn Angel 2 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter 2 Shire, Lightsworn Spirit (Beatstickin' power) 1 Wulf, Lightsworn Beast 1 Lightsworn Sanctuary 1 Monster Reincarnation 2 Lightsworn Barrier 3 Glorious Illusion This build runs as a Lightray Daedalus LS build. Since you can remove 2 Shine Counters to prevent Realm of Light's destruction, you get to blow up 2 free cards every turn with LRD. Realm of Light also boosts up your Lightsworn Monsters' ATK, so its pretty good in the mirror. Shine Counters also work in conjunction with the new Lightsworn Sanctuary, which is not only an underrated card, but it works really well in this build as you can rip Shine Counters off of Realm of Light, too. The fact that it can save LS spells and traps, too (including itself) makes the inclusion of Lightsworn Barrier a welcome one for protection. When going against Evilswarm, or to just smokescreen and really throw your opponent off, the deck can side into a Celestia-based build, which is more of a control build (though it still has explosive plays). The fact that Sanctuary is a continuous Monster Reincarnation for LS means you can keep recycling and recycling Celestia. Lightsworn Barrier protects your LS monsters to sac for Celestia, and Glorious Illusion revives targets to sac for her (or revives Luminas for some killer combos). Or, you can choose to main the Celestia build, which is definitely an option. It would probably look something like this: Extra Deck (3): 3 Michael, The Arch-Lightsworn Main Deck (45): Monsters (29): 3 Judgment Dragon 3 Celestia, Lightsworn Angel 3 Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner 3 Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn 3 Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden 3 Wulf, Lightsworn Beast 2 Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress 2 Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior 1 Ehren, Lightsworn Monk 1 Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid 1 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter 1 Honest 3 Necro Gardna Spells (8): 1 Charge of the Light Brigade 3 Lightsworn Sanctuary 3 Solar Recharge 1 Foolish Burial Traps (8): 2 Glorious Illusion 2 Lightsworn Barrier 2 Breakthrough Skill 2 Beckoning Light Either way, both of the decks are really powerful in their own right.
I think it'll be awsome if you could do a deck challenge video with the old school structure decks ^.^ one i'd really like to see is the zombie deck staring Vampire Genesis!
I have both and I like lightsworn because I can pull off my plays faster and I found cyber dragons to be slow but powerful (at times) and decks today play really fast and cyber dragons can't keep up and lightsworns play fast and with the synchro card they have it just helps from decking yourself out
I know this video was made quite a while ago but i Just wanted to hear some opinions or advice about my version of the challenge, so this Is what i chose : Monsters : 3x Judgement dragon 3x Lumina 3x Raiden 2x Lyla 2x Wolf 2x Garoth 1x Minerva 1x Ehren 1x Jain 1x Ryko 1x Celestia 2x Lightray Diabolos 2x Lightray Daedalus 1x Honest 3x Necro Gardna Spells : 3x Solar Recharge 2x Charge of the Light brigade 1x Foolish burial 1x Monster Reincarnation Traps : 3x Breakthrough skill 2x Beckoning Light Extra : 3x Michael
I have been testing out that vanquishing light counter trap card and so far its actually pretty good. I play it at two and I usually always have a lightsworn monster out for it to resolve. Its kinda like playing three warnings if I add in the solemn warning lol.
Hey GalacticGod, I have bought 2 of this structure deck because i want to build a lightsworn deck, so I decide to put the same monsters that you (with the difference that I only got 2 Judgment Dragon), I think it's a very good deck with a lot of combinations. I'd like to see your deck list for a lightsworn deck with the new format... Greetings from Mexico :P
***** i have a question: why didnt you put "realm of light" or maybe skill succesor in the deck ? Both effects, especially the effect of realm of light comes in handy imo... could you explain why you didnt include these cards ?
i do have to say he said send wulf when he did the foolish or you know you could send raiden summon lumina sync for micheal maybe get your fourth lightsworn and if he can negate use micheal then summon then nuke then summon twice and attack for 9000
Hey, Galactic, or anyone else who can answer.. I was wondering if there is a card pack you can pull The Creator God of Light Horakhty out of, or if it isn't a pack or only obtainable from buying it.
i would run 2x ryko, (also wish they had felice) would run 1 garoth as he outmills your entire deck, and would play 2 ehren, also would play 2x beckoning light incase you mill the a beckoning light
i run a lightsworn deck atm. i really disagree with your choice of 1 charge of the light brigade. and i also disagree with 1 reincarnation, i love being able to get JD from the graveyard at all times.
+abductkaz At the time, Charge was limited to 1 copy. About Reincarnation, it's just a matter of opinion and balance. You could get opening hands with double Reincarnation while you have no cards in graveyard and no ways to mill anything.
Nick Clarke hmmm Card trader, so good if you drew a card you couldnt use in your hand (like wulf) shaddoll dragon is a maybe, its a MST if you mill it, or if you draw it pop a card back to your opponents hand lightsworn sanctuary to protect your lightsworns swords of revealing light isnt that bad in the deck raigeki break: good way to send a lightsworn to thegrave for judgement dragon, or necro gardna to negate attacks, and destroy a card at the same time monster gate is a decent card to mill the cheerful coffin, send lightsworns to the grave for judgement dragon, or send necro gardna fiend comedian, banish your opponents grave or mill Gorz the emissary of darkness: prettygood hand trap, + 2700 beater wonder balloons, discard cards you need in the grave, weaken your opponents monsters for extra deck cards, rank 4 xyz are necessary number 32 for damage number 102 to negate effects and halve a monsters attack number 50, destroy monsters, deal damage hieratic sun dragon overlord of heliopolis, send cards that need to be in the grave and destroy problem cards (yes, you need 2 level 8, and he only level 8 you'll probably have is JD, but just detach JD for sun dragons effect, monster reincarnation, pop JD back number 101 to get rid of problem cards (i know its fairly expensive, its not completely necessary, but a good backup plan gravity warrior for damage crimson blader to stop level 5 or higher summons michael (basically explains itself, it goes withlightsworns) if you want, add a black rose scrap dragon, send cards that need to be in the grave while destroying your opponents cardsand you get a 2800 beater stardust, negate destroy effects star eater, for 3200 beater
I remember I did this once at a local tourney. used two atlantean structures and a few staple cards from my binder. I was still able to go 3-1 but I probably just got lucky though. Deck looks pretty good although I do think three rykos is a bit much.
hey GalacticGod ,I need an advice,I'm planning to buy a new deck,do you reccomend(sorry if wrote anything wrong lol ) this deck or realm of the sea emperror? thanks
The only thing I would change is swap a ryko and minerva for a diabolos and beckoning. Don't really need more then one minerva in the deck imo. Diabolos gives you another boss monster and beckoning lets you recycle your JDs in grave.
Thing is Lightsworn is always so.... I don't wanna say broken, but Lightsworn can always jus go boom on you. The only thing that sets apart the current competitive built from this is the fact there's no Dragon Rulers with Eclipse Wyvern.
When I play a game I want to control everything from drawing to including what specific cards I dump out of the deck. The only reason lightsworn really win is because judgement dragon is such a sack card...
There is no reason to run reincarnation over beckoning in this kind of deck. Normally reincarnation is good to take back bls or chaos sorc, but in this deck beckoning light is all you need.
Against the Meta, I'd run 2 Ehrens over 2 Jains. Yes it's a possible 2100- beater, but Ehren's effect against the Meta in general is too useful to only use 1 copy. That the other copy of Jain would go into the Side. If someone could add in a 4th Structure deck into this Challenge, I would probably use XYZ Symphony for the XYZs and the staple Spells/Traps.. (RotA, MST, Magic Cylinder, Trap Hole, Swords, Fissure, Raigeki Break, Dust Tornado, Utopia, and of course the Djinn monsters)
I just dont like the lucksack based milling mechanic off the deck. I really don't even tech Lightsworn monsters because of that. I just hate the luck mechanic.
granted if this was the scenario ( if you were actually going to a event ) this deck isnt that great, two garoths really? lightsworns are a speed styled deck, mill for JD obviously but some of the cards you run at two ain't worth it really
I would love to see someone top a regional/ycs with a deck with no sleeves.
what does it matter? Sleeves don't determine if you have a good deck or not...
Sleeves are required to make sure their are no specific marks and I'm pretty sure they give you free sleeve
Ye ^
@@kennyrulez-thatswhatshezed1928being able to play different changes your deck sleeves are required to play
Seriously, looking at the deck itself, and they you made it...I would make it EXACTLY the same way. I think, for only using the cards in those 3 structure decks, that literally is the best variant one could possibly make.
Can we see a budget deck duel?
3 Rykos are Overkills.
The card is too Slow.
Ryko is never slow in pure LS
I have been testing it in pure ls and its not that slow at all.
He is only using 3 Structure Decks soo.
.-. After so many years, I came here again to re-learn the basics from the man I consider a true master of this game. 0: thank you so much, GG. I really miss you.

I think it'll be awsome if you could do a deck challenge video with the old school structure decks ^.^ one i'd really like to see is the zombie deck staring Vampire Genesis!
whats better Lightsworn or Cyber Dragon?
i like cyberdragons more
but light sworn are cheaper
Lightsworn are centuries better, but both are bad without extra support not just the structure decks
Harry Mcadam i like cyberdragons cuz they are more fun :D
im great with both but im more of a lightsworn. so many differnet combos tomake( twilight, lightruls, sylvanswrns etc)
I have both and I like lightsworn because I can pull off my plays faster and I found cyber dragons to be slow but powerful (at times) and decks today play really fast and cyber dragons can't keep up and lightsworns play fast and with the synchro card they have it just helps from decking yourself out
why 3 ryko? its an overall slow card and i would much prefer the extra minerva over a third ryko
i dont think minerva is that good w/out elcipse wyvern
TnPGmBH eclipse wyren make the deck more of a twilight build, and shouldn't be used in a pure lightsworn deck
You should test it out on devpro and see how it does.
Awsome types of videos!!! love that you actully build the deck!
I know this video was made quite a while ago but i Just wanted to hear some opinions or advice about my version of the challenge, so this Is what i chose :
Monsters :
3x Judgement dragon
3x Lumina
3x Raiden
2x Lyla
2x Wolf
2x Garoth
1x Minerva
1x Ehren
1x Jain
1x Ryko
1x Celestia
2x Lightray Diabolos
2x Lightray Daedalus
1x Honest
3x Necro Gardna
Spells :
3x Solar Recharge
2x Charge of the Light brigade
1x Foolish burial
1x Monster Reincarnation
Traps :
3x Breakthrough skill
2x Beckoning Light
Extra :
3x Michael
nice
same but i would go with 2 monster reincarnation and 2 foolish burial
AWESOME MAN Foolish burial is limited to one, not sure about mine yet though
pizzamonstergaming ok thanks
Domagoj Popovic looks awesome but I would take out a garoth for another honest is right now honest is semi Limited
Please do one of Dragons Collide!!!
I have been testing out that vanquishing light counter trap card and so far its actually pretty good. I play it at two and I usually always have a lightsworn monster out for it to resolve. Its kinda like playing three warnings if I add in the solemn warning lol.

I wanna see you test it lol
***** i have a question: why didnt you put "realm of light" or maybe skill succesor in the deck ? Both effects, especially the effect of realm of light comes in handy imo... could you explain why you didnt include these cards ?
The funny thing is the second i was about to request this then as i was typing you posted this.
i do have to say he said send wulf when he did the foolish or you know you could send raiden summon lumina sync for micheal maybe get your fourth lightsworn and if he can negate use micheal then summon then nuke then summon twice and attack for 9000
cyber dragon or lightsworn?
The breaktrough joke was so simple yeet it made laugh a little too much xD,
What's better master of pendulum or realm of light?
Please do this more often.
I think you should have a Deadalus as well, because its ability is extremally good and it has good base stats. But good deck!
Why only one light ray?
Hey, Galactic, or anyone else who can answer.. I was wondering if there is a card pack you can pull The Creator God of Light Horakhty out of, or if it isn't a pack or only obtainable from buying it.
Hey GG I would add 2 more reincarnation because Judgment Dragon may get milled so you can get him back faster
i would run 2x ryko, (also wish they had felice) would run 1 garoth as he outmills your entire deck, and would play 2 ehren, also would play 2x beckoning light incase you mill the a beckoning light
we are going to wait till Duelist Alliance
Felice is coming out in the next booster pack
i'd also run a 3rd wulf with 2 ryko 2 lyla
personally I think that azneyes made a better combination
This looks like a pretty good build. I'm thinking of making a Machine/ Dragon deck with a Legends of Blue Eyes structure deck and a Machine Revolt.
Photon Gaming But will it blend?
i run a lightsworn deck atm. i really disagree with your choice of 1 charge of the light brigade. and i also disagree with 1 reincarnation, i love being able to get JD from the graveyard at all times.
+abductkaz At the time, Charge was limited to 1 copy. About Reincarnation, it's just a matter of opinion and balance. You could get opening hands with double Reincarnation while you have no cards in graveyard and no ways to mill anything.
Bacon saver is also good if milled...kinda like necro gardna is good when milled.
I think that lightsworn is better, it depends of what you like and which deck you learn to use the best... Greetings...
What would be some good cards to add to this deck to maybe boost it up? And what would make up a good side deck for it?
I would also like to know ^^^^
Nick Clarke hmmm
Card trader, so good if you drew a card you couldnt use in your hand (like wulf)
shaddoll dragon is a maybe, its a MST if you mill it, or if you draw it pop a card back to your opponents hand
lightsworn sanctuary to protect your lightsworns
swords of revealing light isnt that bad in the deck
raigeki break: good way to send a lightsworn to thegrave for judgement dragon, or necro gardna to negate attacks, and destroy a card at the same time
monster gate is a decent card to mill
the cheerful coffin, send lightsworns to the grave for judgement dragon, or send necro gardna
fiend comedian, banish your opponents grave or mill
Gorz the emissary of darkness: prettygood hand trap, + 2700 beater
wonder balloons, discard cards you need in the grave, weaken your opponents monsters
for extra deck cards, rank 4 xyz are necessary
number 32 for damage
number 102 to negate effects and halve a monsters attack
number 50, destroy monsters, deal damage
hieratic sun dragon overlord of heliopolis, send cards that need to be in the grave and destroy problem cards (yes, you need 2 level 8, and he only level 8 you'll probably have is JD, but just detach JD for sun dragons effect, monster reincarnation, pop JD back
number 101 to get rid of problem cards (i know its fairly expensive, its not completely necessary, but a good backup plan
gravity warrior for damage
crimson blader to stop level 5 or higher summons
michael (basically explains itself, it goes withlightsworns)
if you want, add a black rose
scrap dragon, send cards that need to be in the grave while destroying your opponents cardsand you get a 2800 beater
stardust, negate destroy effects
star eater, for 3200 beater
This brought a tear to my eye because you didn't use my favorite card Gragonith :'(
would take out some of the ligthsworns and put one more beckoming light and 2 more monster reincarnation
I remember I did this once at a local tourney. used two atlantean structures and a few staple cards from my binder. I was still able to go 3-1 but I probably just got lucky though. Deck looks pretty good although I do think three rykos is a bit much.
hey GalacticGod ,I need an advice,I'm planning to buy a new deck,do you reccomend(sorry if wrote anything wrong lol ) this deck or realm of the sea emperror?
thanks
maja makivić i would advice you the monarc deck
Lightsworn Ruler is what I'm buiding the main deck only at the moment !
make a chalenge with the pendulum SD when it comes out that 1 might be hard getting 3 off this SD already give you a OK lightsworn deck
That akward moment when buying the singles costs more than buying three structure decks. Seriously, what the heck!?
I built a deck for this chalange and I am going to upload it soon
I upload a video of what I think was best way to make the deck out the structure already :)
You should use this deck against some tier 1 deck, like H.A.T. or Geargia.
Geargia rampage challenge
Someone can tell me from where to get one realm of light deck i love it???
+Васил Димитров Amazon ebay tcgplayer trollandtoad,I can go on and on
Kk...
btw im half russian so.... pashalusta m8
Btw I'm not a Russian -_- I'm Bulgarian -___-
Ohh sorry its just that your name is written with russian letters
I'd play more Reincarnations/Beckoning because there are no Rulers for JD.
Btw how to combo , can someone teach me ? I will appreciate it
Not only did I do this, I topped locals 5 times with it. FTK's rather often o.o
When I play a game I want to control everything from drawing to including what specific cards I dump out of the deck. The only reason lightsworn really win is because judgement dragon is such a sack card...
I hate how he slaps his cards down lol
Their should be a lightsworn sanctuary
realm of light ftw
There is no reason to run reincarnation over beckoning in this kind of deck. Normally reincarnation is good to take back bls or chaos sorc, but in this deck beckoning light is all you need.
Reincarnation can be used the same turn you draw it, we're Beckoning you would have to set first. It's good to have both options, imo
+GalacticGod true
3 ryko? Just go for the third wulf. It's worth it
Against the Meta, I'd run 2 Ehrens over 2 Jains.
I won my tournaments with a build from 2 of those decks.
With 2 of these lightsworn decks
t3arki113r What was your build, or is it a secret ? :P
sacking with lightsworn? boring do this challenge with the new pendulum starter , you can have 50 of them and still not make anything decent
Solid
Playing 3 Michaels with 2 minerva
+shawn makaveli. Actually skill successor and realm of light both suck. Chances of drawing are nil and there effects arent worth the space
Irather see this than a regular opening because everyone does the regular opening and gets annoying
Yeah the reincarnation is by far better at least at 2 ...I would run 2 but I hate lightsworn.
does this even count? JD is JD.
replied to first comment, first!
I just dont like the lucksack based milling mechanic off the deck. I really don't even tech Lightsworn monsters because of that. I just hate the luck mechanic.
Only four traps!!!
I'm actually running this deck n I'm doing good with I actually went 2-0 against H.A.T lightsworns are pretty good
3 ryko? Da fuq?
another becknoning light.I think...
at least play 2 lightsworn sanctuary and 2 monster reincarnation
I would've done
3 judgment
3 raiden
3 lyla
3 lumina
2 maiden
2 wulf
1 ehren
1 garoth
3 lightray diablos
3 necro gardna
2 honest
3 solar recharge
2 charge of the light brigade
2 monster reincarnation
3 breakthrough skill
2 beckoning light
The best trap: skill succesor. Really niqqa? Lol jk breaktrhough skill. BITCH U GEUSSED IT! WHOW! YOU'S RIGHT
granted if this was the scenario ( if you were actually going to a event ) this deck isnt that great, two garoths really? lightsworns are a speed styled deck, mill for JD obviously but some of the cards you run at two ain't worth it really
1st like, view and comment
Nope
they made judgement dragon look fat :P
Jesus Christ is King.
idont like ryko :/
