I despise all the hate on lightsworns...... I've been using them since LODT.(My deck is holo) It's my main deck, and if you don't like it..then screw you. We've asked for a Tuner and Syncho for a log time..and now we finally have it. Look guys...this is going to be the deck to beat for a while until the list kills it.. so DEAL WITH IT. How can you expect new people NOT to run a budget deck that can OTK most of the mega game in the few turns?
the deck is gonna die out in less than 2 months and the annoying thing is that its getting hyped for no reason and its most likely not gonna top anything big, maybe 1 or 2 regionals but thats it.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one :D. Lightsworns were my second deck ever and I'm glad to see then getting support and that not everyone is a butthurt scrub.
Jonathan Jean right we're the scrubs that aren't using such a luckbased deck lol, the cards are cool no doubt but the unfair sacking potential is too great to be fair. In a match fine, but single duels are a pain. man limit JD or drag rulers already.
oh yeah one other thing, people are dumb to think that Michael ISN'T a threat. People sell Michael short simply because the guy takes 2 monsters to synchro and has to pay 1000 LP to use his effect that targets. Yet I'm winning games with Michael because people are SOOOOOO afraid of JD that they would rather wait for to use their resources on JD. But by then, my Dragon rulers and Michael would have already got rid of your field and swung for game.
I still don't understand why no one runs that Lightsworn dragon, I personally think it is good Lightsworn card, just because he needs to tribute summon doesn't mean it is bad(people run Celestia but not Gragonith?), it is a really huge beater, can easily get up to 3000+ attack and also do piercing damage, also since it is a LIGHT Dragon type, Minerva can add it if there are 6 Lightsworns which is easier to search than JD, I'd rather use him over the 3rd Wulf for another Lightsworn with different name, and I feel like it is at least better than Aurkus. Aurkus on the other hand, can really hurt you and prevent you from using Lumina's effect, also monster reincarnation can't add a Lightsworn too
Celestia is an amazing card, and I'm not just saying that. I've played the deck, and with Celestia it has more outs to hints without judgment. Gragonith is not a bad card either, but there's limited space for it after everything else you want to play
in LS, milling is winning. Celestia is bigger than Gragonith by default and mills 4 cards even before end phase. You also have to consider removal. Celestia if successfully summoned will trade cards with your opponent. Gragonith is just a generic beatstick that loses you a card from a tribute. So in pure builds, Celestia is just superior even if its ran in 1-2 copies. Also the send 4 from the top of deck to graveyard is a cost. Meaning even if they veiler/breakthrough, you STILL get the mill. She did the other job of baiting backrow.
i just want to see how he would make it. this is a variation of a build i found that topped in OCGland, i just changed things to match the ban list and current card availability. i want to know if what i did would be effective enough when i get to pick up the new support.
Thomas Dugan TBH azneyes isn't really that good at yu gi oh. he's nice and all but you can probably make a deck as good as him not that much of a problem/
I know its a budget deck only based on the structure deck but, its nice to use lightsworn sanctuary do keep in mind it says "lightsworn cards" in which case can protect lightsworn barrier and lightsworn sabre. sabre in which case in more viable to run. but I like to test that card when I get it in the mail soon. but also add chaos into the mix BLS has been reprinted quite a bit and chaos sorcerer, they aren't too expensive to run.
Lightsworn is my go-to 'I feel like winning' deck when I'm playing online, and I run it a lot differently than this. Then again, it is buggetless online. The biggest suggesting I can say to anyone trying to build this deck is to pull together all your spare stuff and try and build a full Extra Deck. I'd say around 7 Synchros and 8 Xyz, using Rank 4s and Level 7s and 8s. You don't need Rank 3s or Level 6s, because you'll only ever summon them by reviving a Minerva with a Lumina, which is not a good play. The rest of these will be very hit-or-miss depending on how you like to play, but I would reccomend not running Necro. I prefer Rainbow Kuribohs and an Electromagnetic Turtle, but Kuriboh's are around $10 and Turtle's are OCG, so that's more if you have a bigger budget or are planning on playing online. Also, if you manage to get at least 2 Felice once they come out (this is for a 5-6 total Wulf and Felice Build), I suggest getting a copy of Bujintei Kagatsuchi. It's only around $5, grants you another 5 cards milled, and works very well with Judgement Dragon. If you've got a local book store with a manga ilse, Stardust Spark also works, and is a little easier to summon, but feels a little less consistent. I would suggest running both if possible, but that's really straying away from the realms of budget friendly.
Hi, I played with you yesterday, my name tag was Silent. That Garden was preeeety effective on me, so good one! My best deck consists with ninjas, dragons and dinosaurs that are op. My plan is to use ninja art of SUPER transformation to take off a recently summoned face up monster (Preferably lv 4) then i can summon from my deck something like blue eyes white dragon etc.
I just started using them with the new structure deck. I actually ran one Dawn Knight, my most recent duel in my second to last turn i milled the entirety of my remaining deck, but in the last mill Dawn Knight hit the grave and allowed me to return Lumina and win the next turn XD
Just wait until the electromagnetic turtle comes to the tcg. It will render raibow kuriboh and necro guardna obsolete. Look it up it's badass in this deck! Same with Phantom nights reveal. Makes for a good defense for LS. Not 100% needed but fun to try out :)
Hey azn, huge favor to ask. Could you do more budget builds and tcg lists? I love the deck ideas you get, because they are so original, but some can't be used in the tcg because either cards haven't been released or moneys an issue or something. So just every once in a while, when you find a cool deck idea you try and like that's budget friendly, give it a shoutout.
Azneyes while it may not be a vilable solution, sanctuary says if ANY Lightsworn card(s) would be destroyed by ANY card effect remove 2 shine counters to protect them. Meaning protect your cards when you bring out JD then go for game when you have 2 or 3 or 4 dudes out there. Cmon read the cards and think how you can use them not just how you can search JD.
AznEyes is it fun to play one of the top tier decks knowing your gonna win all the time? Doesn't it get old repeating the same patterns over and over again? Idk maybe i'm a scrub to some people, but at least I have fun playing different decks for a new experience :)
i didn't own any yugioh cards and decided to build this list. i love this list. I really want to use it a lot, what would be some affordable (no more than 8 bucks for a card) extra deck stuff? are there any things in the list i could greatly improve with cheap cards?
if I 4get 2 write my friends city/state will the yugioh cards im sending him still arrive at his house all he gave me was the area code his address/street so will it still be delivered 2 his house?
Jd + Zephyros + Lumina + Ehren + Cowboy in MP2 = 8000. Unless you're so budget you can't afford Cowboy... Will we get an update for a not-that-budget variant?
Hey dude I was thinking of starting of with this then playing it till I trade for better cards and stuff but could u show how to play them and basic strats? Plz I basically know how they work and play but I'm used to b wings
Dragon Ruler Sworn had EVERY REASON to be inconsistent, 7+ lv 8 or higher with summoning conditions, eclipse wyverns, with the potential of combining that with other dead opening cards in your opening hand. But that neeeeeeever happens, but when I ran lavals, I'd open with 4 of them??? Any other deck trying to pull that off would fail terribly. The best thing about this deck is that it gives my precious agents a good synchro!
If there is one thing I feel azneyes knows really well its lightsworns i know this is a budget build but don't worry azn I'll be putting BLS in here haha
why not main 3 diabolos and a couple eclipse wyverns? mill wyvern, banish jd, summon diabolos, banish wyvern for effect, add jd to hand.... seems good no?
I would add lightest monsters. Very cheap and can be summoned the same way as jd, but instead of lightsworns, just light type monsters. When can just drop jd, pay 1000, then drop your hand (if it is full of lightray monsters, and 9k direct, after that summon big eye
I'd up the deck to 42, adding a second Ehren and a third Breakthrough Skill. If you think 3 Breakthroughs is too much, add in one of the Lightrays instead.
I only play up to 2 diabolos and only if i play my riler Varianz cause it is searchable with wyvern . otherwise i would say only one is enough because thee can geht really clpggy as you already play 3 JD.
The reason why many people despise lightsworns is because many play the same variant, and because it is so popular, playing against them so many times makes makes it feel like the deck is incredibly linear.
Never liked buying the same starters as no new cards to experiment. I am making a fire fist deck with the fire fist special edition boosters with tenki, onslaught of the fire kings starter, and blaster tin. This is what makes the game more fun to discover cards like March of the monarchs or relay soul to xyz as you don't have access to better ones. Won't win tournaments for sure but feels good as a collector. Could also go the ninja route for blaster too, but I don't wanna use singles at this time except tenki as that is mandatory. Plus 3 tenki/onslaught is pretty abusive and boring. Makes me wonder if Lightsworns can work with dragons collide well
"Makes me wonder if Lightsworns can work with dragons collide well" You mean you are wondering if Lightsworns can work with Chaos dragons? The lightsworns ARE the milling engine for the chaos dragons. You include minvera/raiden for the tuners and chaos fodder.
Thanks, we both showed better ideas than azneyes' vid. Buying the same starters severely limits your options and stifles creativity. Though if someone feels they need to go solely Lightsworn, I guess it helps. Also realized using new cards only is a bit of a set rotation, like magic has. Really good way to balance power creep a little more
***** there is a big difference with the whole creativity issue to playing towards consistency. And with lightsworn, a deck with a somewhat inconsistent win condition, you want to make it as consistent as possible. Of course as you discovered (and many have already known), the LS engine is splashable enough to work with chaos dragons. If you are hoping Yugioh will have a set rotation, you may want out of the game. Yugioh builds itself on power creep and buying the new product to obtain the power creep.
Yeah, yugioh is pay to win but casual games may have potential if you have an opponent like me who wants to balance it and not rely on +1's and staples nonstop
***** plus ones has long been the nature of any card game or in any successful card game theory. Not all decks conform to staples either. I personally want to be ahead of the curve and play the deck how its meant to be played. Then I can choose tech for it.
Actually, you CAN'T use Minerva to extreme mill/draws with Garoth. Currently, the word "control" in Garoth applies for only on the field, not in a "possess" way.
"Nooo why is lightsworn budget now bad players can play a no skill Deck and top" Ok number one most lsworn decks run breakthrough skill so there is a skill in the deck Number two: there is no skill in the cards When you play a game of any kind, there is no skill or strategy It is the simple fact of good vs bad player If bad players are topping, are they really bad? Seriously I betcha you all complain because you have 1,000 decks that are getting squashed by something you can pick up at Wal-Mart for 30
"When you play a game of any kind, there is no skill or strategy It is the simple fact of good vs bad player" That is the most retarded argument I've ever heard in my life. What dictates a good player vs a bad player? Exactly those things. I've there was no skill, or strategy, it'd be a case of pure RNG, like RPS.
Aye watch that potty mouth And this game literally IS a luck based deck People think it is but it really isn't You could be running geargia/hat/madolche/lightsworn/evilswarm ect ect top tier decks And literally get either the worst hands ever or have your opponent open up better than you and still lose You have to guess and know every little thing your deck can do an every out you can make in your deck And even then its still pure luck to draw what you need or get your combo pieces off While ig you could say you can't say what a good player is You can definatly define a BAD player That's something I should clean up You can be a good player and make mistakes But to be a bad player you have to either always lose or rarley win Not know what your doing Making a million misplays Ect ect Ig I shiuld say this game is dictated to bad vs decent players Does that make it better?
"When you play a game of any kind, there is no skill or strategy" That's what you said. That sentence doesn't imply that you're only talking about YGO. That's what the gripe was about. Regardless, the concept of a good player vs a bad player is, not counting a deck copied from somewhere else, how consistent you can make you deck. Yes, there's RNG. What differentiates between the two types of players is the ability to mitigate that RNG. The ability to create a deck that minimizes that amount of bad draws you have, and maximizes that amount of reward you have, is a 'skill'. Thus, making you a 'skilled' player. Skill literally means: "the ability to do something well; expertise". Pretty sure if you can make a deck well, it's a skill. Pretty sure if you know how to use your deck to its utmost efficiency, playing around whatever you have, it's a skill. Heck, if you're good at card-counting, that in itself can make you a good player. A 'skilled' player. Because you can minimize what you'll get next, or at-least attempt to plan for the future, rather than just throwing your hand at people (see: plan. Thus, making a strategic decision. Strategy literally means: "a plan of action designed to achieve a long-term or overall aim.") That's what makes a good player. A bad player would simply throw his hand out and hope, they wouldn't think about what the opponent has, and they wouldn't plan for the future, or stick to the idea of their deck (which comes under a skill, when you're making your deck - what's the win condition). Either way, whether you're talking solely about YGO having no skill or strategy, or every game in general, you're wrong.
Well here's another thing Saying that im wrong in an opinion based argument is wrong in its sense Unless there are facts involved, there is no wrong or right answer I do see where your comming from But my point still stands, atleast to me
There's no opinion. I gave you facts. I gave you the literal, factual definition of 'skill' and 'strategy'. Your point isn't a point. Your point is an opinion, because you don't understand the words you said, and you're just spouting exactly what you think is right, but not proving anything. You're not even trying to argue my points, but acting like you have one. I gave you facts. If you want to say the dictionary is an opinion, sure, whatever. You're responding by saying facts aren't facts. You're being ignorant.
Yugioh players be like: "Dammit man this structure deck is too broken people shouldn't win for 30 $ no skil too broke OP no skill" Seriously. You guys do this with every structure. Machina gadgets? Chaos Dragons? Now Lightsworn. I honestly feel like people are starting to equate skill with money. You have skill because your deck contains Exciton and Dracossack? Sure. Whatever. Most all yugioh decks are streamline once constructed. The skill in this game comes from deck construction. Clearly there is some decision making in gameplay, but the plan is clear. Discard atlanteans for Megalo. Sack Anjelly for Hootcake. Yamato search for Crane pitch Turtle. Bounce for Grapha. Armor for Accelerator, make Gigant. Necrovalley, set Spy. I could go on and on. These plays make decks. The decks do the same thing each game. This we call consistency. However, some of you are calling it autopilot or no-skill. To me its good deckbuilding.
For all of you people saying that lightsworn rulers is the only reason the deck is good, you are wrong.I played pure lightsworn at my locals and was undefeated in matches, only lost one game. The only card I didn't use from the structure deck was one copy of bls. This deck is good and DOES require skill.
uh should I add mirror force, zero gravity and two honests, two mst and Shire lightsworn spirit helped me a lot more than Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden... I didn't like Minerva, Lightsworn Maiden too much:/
Getting sacked by Judgment Dragon approximately 5 turns in is one of the worst feeling you could possibly have against them. If they however mill the wrong cards (Monster Reincarnation/JD) then you still have a window to win. Now that they are starting to mass produce this deck it's going to be nightmarish.
The deck might be a little easy but it's also risky to play with.. I personally like the lightsworn-dragon rulers-diabolos combination cause it's fun.. But it's still too risky. And it does require some skill sorta because many times you'll have to make many difficult choices whether for which monster to synchro summon or xyz summon or even which monster to normal summon based on your condition.
necro gardna is nice, but its not worth using a spell card you have a high chance of milling anyway. If you needed that much more defense, people were teching rainbow kuriboh.
I actually don't mind Lightsworns at all. They definitely aren't my favorite deck or anything but I just don't mind it because everyone gets lucky from time to time in any deck.
Two lightsworn players topped at my locals I went against them one of them and almost won but he is maiming decree so I lost because of that but I won game on by my O T K with 3.5 fire fist
Honestly, the only card in LS that I have any issue with is Judgement Dragon. It's so easy to use for any boss monster. With it, LS is extremely strong. Without it, guess what? It's still strong without being busted. lol
I understand all the hatred for Lightsworn. I think it stems from the nature of the deck itself, how luck-based it is, with little skill involved. Also, the oversaturation of the deck doesn't help. It seems like every third or fourth game I play on DevPro, it's Lightsworn Rulers, and it gets old FAST.
just side Marco cosmos and Fissure. ain't those already staple sides because of bujin? i side them against bujin. though just 2 chances to draw them (because they're both limited) makes it less frequent. and throw some black horns in there. and judgment won't hit the field.
AznEyesWhiteDragon You replied to me like I'm some ignorant fuck... Try talking without making smart ass assumptions. I'm not blind, its Yugioh, luck is everywhere in the game, but it has to do with how sick I am of seeing Lightsworn. I like change in the game, and for some reason it seems like every LS player I run into is a arrogant fuck who thinks they're so fucking good cuz they can win game 1 by lucksacking with JD. Too bad they get fucking smashed by the side deck... Oh yeah, most scrub LS players don't play matches because they don't want to get their ego shut down, probably includes you. Oh, but I better not make assumptions because I'm actually a decent person.
Lightsworns are so dumb. They have always been dumb and I love it. Even though the deck is easy mode, people will still lose with it. Its the whole Talonflame argument again. Its so OP. Well, if you expect people to run it, have your counters ready. A bad will always be bad and will NOT side for your counter strats. Personally, I love LS. They are like Sams. One big, happy, you fuck up you lose, family.
I've seen people drop triple JD and do 6k one turn and immediately lose the next turn because Dark Hole + no hand and ten cards in their deck. Playing smart is difficult for people who run "easy" decks. They just go all in and lose.
Icarus Triple JD should be game (3k each) if that guy did the play correctly. You must have meant he dropped double JD but just got outsacked by dark hole, which is a reality. But as I digress, LS still lets you play yugioh. But puts you on a clock when they have 4 LS in the grave or if you didn't flip Skill Drain already early game. As oppose to Sams that renders your spells/trap useless going 2nd outside of a flip monster with a destruction effect. Or playing mermails.
Man, Banded Brave Bird all day eryday. Push button, dent half team. But you know, Rotom-Wash is a thing. And SR. And literally every rock type in the game. Not to mention that it just dies to everything...
Herp derp 4 lightsworns in grave after turn 2 topdeck jd auto pilot pay 1000 attack for 3000 keep blowing up field hahaha im so good at this game my deck is so well made and requires lots of thinking and strategy
No lightrays? Diabolos banishes a light in grave(you'll have 15 of those) to just get rid of a set card and Deadulous is like f**k your field spell and your backrow. And because of them I can go for Micheal and a lightray or two and never need JD
From my analysis lol the deck really didnt need support. i 2/0 lightsworns with my lightsworns without michael and raiden. THIS DOESNT MAKE ME A NOOB -_-
I despise all the hate on lightsworns......
***** Dragon ruler sworn got 2nd place in the euro nationals. So it did top and made it to the top tables. It just didnt win.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one :D. Lightsworns were my second deck ever and I'm glad to see then getting support and that not everyone is a butthurt scrub.

"this is going to be the deck to beat for a while until the list kills it"
Or until Shadolls come out.
Thanks AznEyes this actually encouraged me to want to get into yugioh again after not playing in about a year Thanks alot
oh yeah one other thing, people are dumb to think that Michael ISN'T a threat. I agree. With Michael and the Droolers I rarely need JD to finish off my opponent.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Michael is good. :).

well, I see most people do, cyberknight8610 does run celestia as well as Azneyes
Zhong Gao yes thats cos cyberknight and azeyes are bad players

can you also do a not budget build? like maybe the dragon ruler variant?
maybe use this as a template? i.imgur.com/LAmMGYh.png
Thomas Dugan uh....that's pretty much what you wanted right there. Why should he do a deck profile of a deck that can be seen EVERYWHERE?
i just want to see how he would make it. this is a variation of a build i found that topped in OCGland, i just changed things to match the ban list and current card availability. i want to know if what i did would be effective enough when i get to pick up the new support.
Well for Dragon Ruler Sworns anything is effective pretty much. Take any list you can find and it most likely works.
Plz do a super fast lightsworn deck any version eg rulers etc that you azneyes would use
In competition sort of thing
Lightsworn is my go-to 'I feel like winning' deck when I'm playing online, and I run it a lot differently than this. Then again, it is buggetless online.

Yo. this vid was awesome. never thought of that lumina otk. that's awesome thanks man.
When is that new lightsworn monster coming u know the one that acts like wolf but is a tuner?
Can you make a non-budget deck so i can know what good lightsworn deck should look like?
great video. just picked up a couple of boxes today. i needed a solid opinion
Hi, I played with you yesterday, my name tag was Silent. That Garden was preeeety effective on me, so good one! My best deck consists with ninjas, dragons and dinosaurs that are op. I just looked up electromagnetic turtle. I agree! The card is FANTASTIC!!!
What do you think about running the sephylon lightsworns??
Make Ice barriers good with hands and traptrixs.
I'd love to see that.
Hey azn, huge favor to ask. Could you do more budget builds and tcg lists? This looks good, I never got into lightsworns, I know the annoyance of the deck but still competitive
should i buy realm of light structure deck?
The 3 Wulf had me rolling lmfao 😂😂😂
I know that on Devpro Qliphoths go through Swift Scarecrow, so I would assume it's the same for star eater.
I've seen Blackwings & Lightsworns rise in popularity again which is weird. It's like YGO history is repeating itself
i always hold on to my judgment dragon until i have three or until i can finish them when i use my deck
azneyes i did a lightsworn ruler deck profile will you check it out and tell me what you think
i didn't own any yugioh cards and decided to build this list. i love this list. I really want to use it a lot, what would be some affordable (no more than 8 bucks for a card) extra deck stuff? are there any things in the list i could greatly improve with cheap cards?
maestroke, ragnazero, heartlandraco, wind up zenmaines, stardust dragon... should total $8 google "generic xyz and synchro" for more...
Whats a good yugioh set for Lightsworns?
what cards would be good to add to this deck to make it better?
perfect.. iv bls an chaos sorcerer.+ add and mix a few others an this will be a killer chaos lightsworn deck on a budget
Can you make a mask change budget deck plz?
if I 4get 2 write my friends city/state will the yugioh cards im sending him still arrive at his house all he gave me was the area code his address/street so will it still be delivered 2 his house?
Where can i download dev pro without getting malicious software into my comp?
Jd + Zephyros + Lumina + Ehren + Cowboy in MP2 = 8000. Unless you're so budget you can't afford Cowboy...
Will we get an update for a not-that-budget variant?
Is ROTA worth running in this deck cause of Raiden?
whats about BLS, effect veiler and card trooper?
what about fuck you?
This is the budget only 3x structure deck can't you read
just asking wtf? would it be good or not, whats your opinion, but noooo, insult, flame, etc..
Hey dude I was thinking of starting of with this then playing it till I trade for better cards and stuff but could u show how to play them and basic strats? Plz I basically know how they work and play but I'm used to b wings
Azneyes. Technically, if you only had 200 LP, you wouldn't be able to use Judgement Dragon's effect to get rid of Cowboy traumas.
So what happens when you mill all 3 JD and what ever amount of Reincarnation you play ?
that's extremely unlikely.
The best thing about this deck is that it gives my precious agents a good synchro!
how about adding soul charge
If there is one thing I feel azneyes knows really well its lightsworns i know this is a budget build but don't worry azn I'll be putting BLS in here haha
why not main 3 diabolos and a couple eclipse wyverns?
mill wyvern, banish jd, summon diabolos, banish wyvern for effect, add jd to hand.... seems good no?
imo i would take out 1 ryko, 2 wulf, 1 celestia and 1 zephyros for 3 diabolos and 2 eclipse wyvern
Alex Smith Uh........ Eclipse Wyvern isn't in the Structure deck....
oh ahahaha don't know why i thought it was xD never mind then :L
Doesn't this just make faster for you to lose by running out of cards with all the milling, or is that JD come before? I would love a explanation.
if you think that you don't understand lightsworns at all.
I need to buy at least two of the structure deck.
I personally would pitch Minerva for Recharge, because of her effect to get the extra mill.
Why don't people run the other dragon dude?
i play diablos at 3, is hat a bad idea? in testing I otk more with it
I only play up to 2 diabolos and only if i play my riler Varianz cause it is searchable with wyvern . otherwise i would say only one is enough because thee can geht really clpggy as you already play 3 JD.
Any one know when felice comes out?
Probably gonna be a TCG import in Duelist Alliance
Why no rota? Its easy to get and fetches good cards.
The reason why many people despise lightsworns is because many play the same variant, and because it is so popular, playing against them so many times makes makes it feel like the deck is incredibly linear.
can't wait to play this against my buddy....
I'd drop a Ryko and add a lyla maybe add a Daedalus and diablos when I tested on dn i added them and they helped me push for game
Makes me wonder if Lightsworns can work with dragons collide well
"Makes me wonder if Lightsworns can work with dragons collide well"
You mean you are wondering if Lightsworns can work with Chaos dragons?
Then I can choose tech for it.
if i remember garoth doesnt work with maiden because you need to control the monster
Actually, you CAN'T use Minerva to extreme mill/draws with Garoth. Currently, the word "control" in Garoth applies for only on the field, not in a "possess" way.
"Nooo why is lightsworn budget now bad players can play a no skill Deck and top"
Ok number one most lsworn decks run breakthrough skill so there is a skill in the deck
Number two: there is no skill in the cards
When you play a game of any kind, there is no skill or strategy
It is the simple fact of good vs bad player
If bad players are topping, are they really bad?
Seriously I betcha you all complain because you have 1,000 decks that are getting squashed by something you can pick up at Wal-Mart for 30
"When you play a game of any kind, there is no skill or strategy
It is the simple fact of good vs bad player"
That is the most retarded argument I've ever heard in my life. What dictates a good player vs a bad player? Exactly those things. I've there was no skill, or strategy, it'd be a case of pure RNG, like RPS.
Aye watch that potty mouth
And this game literally IS a luck based deck
People think it is but it really isn't
You could be running geargia/hat/madolche/lightsworn/evilswarm ect ect top tier decks
And literally get either the worst hands ever or have your opponent open up better than you and still lose
You have to guess and know every little thing your deck can do an every out you can make in your deck
And even then its still pure luck to draw what you need or get your combo pieces off
While ig you could say you can't say what a good player is
You can definatly define a BAD player
That's something I should clean up
You can be a good player and make mistakes
But to be a bad player you have to either always lose or rarley win
Not know what your doing
Making a million misplays
Ect ect
Ig I shiuld say this game is dictated to bad vs decent players
Does that make it better?
"When you play a game of any kind, there is no skill or strategy"
That's what you said.
Strategy literally means: "a plan of action designed to achieve a long-term or overall aim.")
That's what makes a good player.
Well here's another thing
Saying that im wrong in an opinion based argument is wrong in its sense
Unless there are facts involved, there is no wrong or right answer
I do see where your comming from
But my point still stands, atleast to me
There's no opinion.
No BLS when you have 3 Necro Gardna? This can't be the real Azneyes.
Yugioh players be like:
"Dammit man this structure deck is too broken people shouldn't win for 30 $ no skil too broke OP no skill"
Seriously. To me its good deckbuilding.
totally right man! thankyou!
How good is this deck now in 2017? lol
What the name of this game.
flappy bird
Pokemon
Battletoads
Call of Duty
Potatoes
I don't like Lightsworns, but if I were you I would have teched in Burial from the Different Dimension to get back Necro Gardna.
No.
He's only allowed to use cards from the structure deck. Hence "budget".
not in the structure deck
necro gardna is nice, but its not worth using a spell card you have a high chance of milling anyway. If you needed that much more defense, people were teching rainbow kuriboh.
Lightsworn is a great deck
I actually don't mind Lightsworns at all. They definitely aren't my favorite deck or anything but I just don't mind it because everyone gets lucky from time to time in any deck.
Two lightsworn players topped at my locals I went against them one of them and almost won but he is maiming decree so I lost because of that but I won game on by my O T K with 3.5 fire fist
Why does nobody ever play Gragonith? He's clearly the best card besides JD. And you can summon him with Glorious Illusion.
this is the old style of ls with the new cards dropped in
Honestly, the only card in LS that I have any issue with is Judgement Dragon. It's so easy to use for any boss monster.
With it, LS is extremely strong. Without it, guess what? It's still strong without being busted. lol
I'm a lightswon player my self and I hope they won't ban JD or lightswons are gonna be useless with out JD there not boss's monsters
No bls?
I've Bought 3x Realm of Light Structure deck ans I'm missing a Judgement Dragon and an Alexandrite Dragon I'm so mad >:(
I'm calling lightsworns 2 top nationals. It's probably gonna win. The deck is under hyped and is far better then bujins or hat
You can Cowboy with Zephyros and Jain
yes but this was for 3x structure decks only as mentioned
I understand all the hatred for Lightsworn. I think it stems from the nature of the deck itself, how luck-based it is, with little skill involved. Also, the oversaturation of the deck doesn't help. It seems like every third or fourth game I play on DevPro, it's Lightsworn Rulers, and it gets old FAST.
I will briefly explain..... in a 21 minute video
I really think I should use three lylas and two ehrens which I see most people do that...
AznEyes, stop encouraging people to play Lightsworn.... That deck needs to die already.
too late it already topped, if you want to complain about this game having no skill, dont worry there is a game called starcraft
As long as Solar recharge and JD are at 3 it can't die.
just side Marco cosmos and Fissure. ain't those already staple sides because of bujin? i side them against bujin. though just 2 chances to draw them (because they're both limited) makes it less frequent. and throw some black horns in there. and judgment won't hit the field.
WIZA327 Do you hate fun, wiza?.
Lol talonflame, anyone who thought that was op was drunk.
Man, Banded Brave Bird all day eryday. Push button, dent half team. But you know, Rotom-Wash is a thing. And SR. And literally every rock type in the game. Not to mention that it just dies to everything...
Icarus Sends in Ferrathorn witha rocky helmet.
Get 1 jd then pay 1000 then special 2 attack for game
all you need is 3 bls for the deck
It's kinda sad that my lightsworn decks extra deck alone is like 300-400 bucks :\
***** It's fine :P I'd much rather pay 2 win and be able to exciton dracosack and do other plays :P
''If you are 200 lp or less it's much better to go Judgment Dragon pop the field instead of going lyla.'' Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Who needs sleep anyway?
i find the lack of my body as a swag disturbing
JD=GG
3 luminas and garoth on board on end phase aren't good at all.
3 wulfs is overkill...
I can't play 3 games with out running in to at least 1 Lightsworn deck... fuck that.
Watch when Shadolls become the "deck" in the tcg with their Midrash. Let's see who complains about Lightsworns now.
From my analysis lol the deck really didnt need support. i 2/0 lightsworns with my lightsworns without michael and raiden. THIS DOESNT MAKE ME A NOOB -_-
