Awesome movie. The women were badass.

"Just truthful." Fantastic. Often female badasses can come off as still shallow.
Great that they got a feminist consultant on this.

Am I the only one who thinks she'd make a great Captain Marvel?

This movie was awesome. Diverse cast, interesting characters, not gratuitous. Feminist in the best way, and didn't lapse into tropes. Loved Max himself, so much more than you're typical action male hero. Furiosa and Max had a great subtle storyline about respect and survival, and I loved all the bullet/seed metaphors. This is what all action and world-building movies should strive for.

It was a good film but clearly had feminist themes and ideas, and this is absolutely ridiculous to put feminist themes into a mad max film, also the female character had more lines and was the main hero, she also killed the main villain, ......mad max just seemed like a side character, ....so its absolutely fair for mad max fans to be upset about this, ......stop being so intellectually dishonest about this, .....if in the next wonder woman film, they put in MRA themes, and the male side actor has more lines and saved the day and killed the main villain, .......alot of people would hate this, and say this was an insult to wonder woman, to make her feel like a side character, its a complete double standard

@@brockcharz2104 If they released a Wonder Woman film about her rescuing war prisoners, then yeah, all of the things you said would make sense in the context of the film.

I don't see the feminist propoganda in Fury Road more so than Kill Bill, Alien, Tombraider, Salt, Hunger Games, Insurgent, Lucy, Haywire, Terminator, Hanna, Columbiana, Wanted, Charlie's Angels, Aeon Flux, Kick Ass, Catwoman, Death Proof, Sucker Punch, Underworld, Resident Evil ... Fury Road is just a good movie.

No Mel Gibson = no Mad Max
Feminists can create their own action movies, they have to hijack established genres.

    Lol,
Her eyes went to the left after he called her a feminist. She is thinking “Oh shit how do I get out of this mess.” and proceeded with a beautifully executed damage control.
